I would like to thank the committee for their kind invitation to judge at this lovely show. My sincere thanks to all the exhibitors for the pleasure of your super dogs on what turned out to be a very hot day.

Shetland Sheepdog

Special Yearling (2,1)

1. Miss Benstead - Melcette Silver Star At Benravia

Most attractive blue merle bitch coming up 14 months of age. Liked her overall size and outline when stood. Feminine head, with well placed and used ears. Good neck and topline, enough depth for age. Moving out soundly in all directions whilst holding her shape. Presented in good coat – BOB.

Afghan Hound

1. M Hughes - Alishan’s Sensa Una Donna At Nantmelan (Imp Fra)

Dignified and elegant 2 year old black bitch. Lovely long lean head, with a dark well shaped eye. Long neck, clean in front, with elbow close to body and well boned limbs. Correct spring to the ribcage and deep in brisket. Long hip to hock, and short hock to heel, would like a little more ring to the tail. Beautifully presented, moves with a good head carriage and lengthy stride – BOB

Very smart 8 month old tri bitch, presents a balanced and noble look. Feminine head, flat in skull and showing wrinkle, well shaped ears and with dark almond shaped eyes. Lovley crested neck of good length, still needing to settle a little more in topline, good depth, fine boned limbs. Moving well with a lightness to her stride – BP & Hound Puppy Group 2

1. Mrs Nash - Ch Tokaji Moon Over Miami With Mutoko JW

Was rather taken with this 4 year old tri bitch, who looked a picture on the stack. She has a lovely flow to her outline, shapely and gazelle like, with fine bone and in lovely condition. Feminine head with enough wrinkle, nicely hooded ears, dark piercing almond eyes. Well developed through the body, with good depth, holding a firm level topline with a nice curl to the tail and shelf behind. Moving smoothly and true – BOB, delighted to award her Hound Group 1

2. Mrs & Miss Baker - Silverbriar Surayya

Another pleasing tri bitch 2 years of age. Of a different stamp to winner, but having a nicely balanced outline. Feminine head, flat skull, nicely chiselled, and a dark eye. Elegant long neck flowing into a firm topline. Good depth not quite the fill in of forechest of winner. Finely boned limbs, and correct moderate hindquarters. Lovely side profile movement, not the precision in front today.

1. Miss Webster - Rossut Vizier For Houndscoast

Smart with plenty of substance this Tan & White dog is coming up 15 months of age and looks very shapely when stood. Sturdy and well put together. Masculine houndy head, with a toning eye, and a hint of mischief, showing good strength to the foreface. Strong neck, well laid shoulders, deep in brisket and well sprung ribs. Holding a firm topline. Moving out soundly, close up for top honours

1. Mr & Mrs Murphy - Davricard Picasso At Rhosyndu

Tri dog, 2 years of age, who presented a clean and balanced outline on the stack. He has the desired strength all through with lovely round boned limbs. He has a pleasing head and expression, strong neck, a little more moderate in angulation fore and aft. Holds a super firm level topline both stood and on the move, with a well set on and carried tail.

1. Miss Webster - Michelroy Pimpernell With Houndscoast JW

Delightful, outgoing and happy 5 year old lemon & white bitch, built on smaller lines, but so very balanced and solid all through. She is compact in her outline, with a feminine head, which shows good balance, well defined stop and gentle but alert eyes. Strong neck, firm in topline, with as well set on tail. Deep in brisket, with a well sprung ribcage, and short loin. She stands on well boned limbs onto tight feet. On the move she showed herself off to advantage, clean and true with good drive - BOB.

2. Mr & Mrs Murphy - Black Royal At Rhosyndu VW

Very attractively marked 8 year old tri dog, and looking in super condition. Masculine head, with lovely dark eyes and pigmentation, long fine leathers framing his face. Strong muscular neck, deep in brisket and well developed in forechest. Keeping a firm level topline, a fraction longer in loin. Well muscled moderate hindquarters. Moving he is true fore and aft, just not quite the drive of winner.

1. Mr & Mrs Roberts - Venari Full House

14 month old red dog, who was showing himself off well, with a keen and alert bearing. Stood he shows good overall balance. Handsome masculine head, long and of good proportions. Lovely dark almond shaped eye, and broad high set ears. Good length of neck, flowing into a firm well held topline and a well carried tail. Deep in brisket and well developed in forechest. Strong hindquarter allowed him to drive around the ring - BOB.

2. Miss Davies - Cwmdarhian Fire and Ice At Davdax

10 month old red bitch, looking a little raw and unsure of her surroundings today. Once relaxed it will all come together. Pleasing conical head, nicely balanced, with a dark eye. Good length of neck, well developed keel, tending to lose her topline a little today. Well made rear. Needing to settle on the move - BP.

1. Mr & Mrs Roberts - Venari Three Of A Kind

Litter sister to Limit class winner and very similar in type, with much to like. Liked her outline when stood, and showed with confidence. Appealing head, with a good length to the foreface, and dark eye giving a lively expression. She has depth all through with a good topline, and ribs carried well back. Strong hammy quarters in good muscle tone. Moved true in all directions, just today not the drive of her litter mate.

2. Miss Davies - Davdax Looks That Kill

Naughty but nice 3 year old B&T bitch. She presents a pleasing outline when stood, but today decided to not play this ‘show lark’ game! She has good overall body proportions and balance. Pretty head and dark eye. Clean neck of good length, well developed through the body, with a good forechest. Strong hindquarters with wide quarters. Moving out true whilst holder her outline, just not as settled

1. Mrs Dance - Emem Hazel Sunshine

Delightful and quality 7 month old bitch. She looked a picture when stood, balanced and harmonious in her proportions. Such a pretty head, well proportioned with a good length to foreface, so keen and alert, with dark mischievous eyes. Lovely and clean in front and with legs well under her. Well developed in the ribcage, with ribs carried well back, level firm topline held at all times. Wide strong quarters. She moves out purposefully, holding her topline. Shown in good coat with harsh texture – BP & Puppy Hound Group 1

2. Mrs Howells - Fallowmill Story Time

Just 10 months old wild boar bitch, she is well developed through the body, but today not wanting to do this showing lark! Lovely head shape, with a dark eye. Good depth to the brisket and development of keel. Tending to lose her topline a little today. A happy and driving action on the move.

Lovely outline to this wild boar bitch, who is just coming up 2 years of age. So shapely and well put together. Liked her head shape, very feminine and dark inquisitive eye. Good neck and shoulders. Well bodied with nicely boned limbs, holding a firm topline to a well set on tail. Pleasing hindquarters with strong wide quarters. Moved with drive whilst holding her outline. Presented in good coat.

2. Mrs Mills - Newton Delight At Oniasid

Delightful Chocolate & Tan bitch, 2 year old and showing her silly side. Of a different stamp to winner, having a little more elegance all through. Nicely proportioned and balanced. Feminine head, good development of forechest. At times today a little softer in topline. Moving out well.

Quality 2 year old wild boar bitch, who shows herself off with confidence. Liked her overall size, shape and femininity. She has the most delightful head, well proportioned, with a dark almond eye with a hint of mischief. Liked her front assembly, clean and well fitting, good development of forechest, well ribbed, holding a firm topline finishing with strong hindquarters. Looked a picture on the move, with a good driving action - BOB.

2. Mrs Mills - Middleton Hunt At Oniasid

Pleasing 5 year old red bitch. She has a shapely silhouette, with plenty to admire. Feminine head, with a kind dark eye. Lovely length of neck giving a noble bearing, good depth and forechest, with ribs carried well back. Not quite the topline of winner today. She shows super drive from the rear, parallel with good width.

1. Ms Wilbraham - Ardlancien Idris

Just over 1 year old dog, still very much a baby. He has a pleasing outline when stood. Masculine head, with a kind eye. Strong neck, still needing to fill out in body and drop a little more but this will come with maturity. Holding his outline both stood and on the move. Strong wide hindquarters. Tending to move a fraction close behind. - BOB

Greyhound

1. Mrs Skinner - Boughton Bandaroo

Shapely 2 year old black brindle bitch. She has a pleasing head shape, long and lean with good chiselling and a toning eye colour. Elegant long neck, with good depth to the brisket, and standing on well boned limbs. Topline shows an arch over the loin. Hindquarters are strong with a good bend of stifle. Moving out soundly, not quite the drive of open class winner today

2. Miss Preece - Hurricane Dorian

6 year old black dog, of a different stamp to winner, a little more refined all through. Long and lean head, with a kind dark eye and well placed ears. Good length of neck, just enough depth. Nicely angulated hindquarters and in super muscletone. Not happy on the move today

Very elegant and shapely 20 month old black & white dog. He has a lovely flow to his outline when stood. Masculine head, of good length, and intelligent dark eye. Reachy neck, good depth to the brisket and well sprung ribcage. Topline showing a slight arch to the loin, and a well shaped underline. Strong and muscular hindquarters, with a well bent stifle. Moving out soundly in all directions and lovely drive. – BOB & GP3

Most impressive 14 month old dog, who certainly gives the impression of strength and masculinity. Strong and powerful all through. Handsome head, with a round eye toning well with an intelligent expression. Strong neck flowing into a firm topline. Chest is well let down with a good spring to the ribcage, standing on well boned limbs. Moderate hindquarters, in lovely muscletone. Moving out soundly in all directions – BOB & GP4

2. Mrs Nash - Mutoko’s Noble Preacher

Well grown dog just coming up 8 months of age, a little at the in-between stage at present, but it is all there, shapely and masculine. Good balance to his head, back skull flat, with a good length to the foreface, dark round eyes with a keen and alert expression. Good length of neck flowing into a firm topline. Enough depth for his age and nicely boned limbs. Hindquarters show a good bend to the stifle. Moving out well, just needing to tighten up a little more – BP – Puppy GP 3

3. Miss Hudson - Mukoko’s Parkers Glory

1. Murphy & Barnes - Diamondridge De Niro JW ShCM

Was quite taken with this 8 year old dog, as he showed himself of with style and dignity. Liked his overall balance and proportions. Strong and masculine, but not overdone. Balanced head piece, dark eyes, and strength to the muzzle. Strong neck of good length, nicely filled in in-front, deep in brisket, well sprung ribcage and holding a firm topline. Muscular hindquarters, which he used to drive around the ring. Close up for top honours

2. Mrs Nash - Mutoko’s Noble One

Another handsome and upstanding dog, with much to admire. Lovely mature 3 year old, built on a slightly larger frame than winner, but so very balanced and sound. Liked his head, handsome and of good proportions. Strong neck, good depth, well boned limbs onto well arched toes. Holding a firm topline, strong muscular hindquarters. Moving out with precision.

1. Mr & Mrs Roberts - Celt’ And Dac Unlimited For The Charme (Imp Fra) (Pharaoh)

Pleasing outline to this 7 month old bitch, still with much maturing to do, but the basics are all there. She has an elegant profile, with a feminine head, a good length to the foreface, nicely toning oval shaped eyes, and erect mobile ears. Lovely long clean neck flowing into a firm topline. Enough depth for her age, moderate hindquarters. Showing a flow to her movement in profile with a good head carriage – BP & Puppy Gp 4

2 year old wild boar dog, Who is nicely balanced in outline and well developed throughout the body. Sturdy with enough clearance. Masculine head, with a lovely dark eye, and nicely furnished. Long and strong neck flowing into a firm topline. Strong body with a well developed forechest and ribs well back. Moving out soundly

Most feminine 4 year old brindle bitch, who showed herself off with style and typical bold demeanour. When stood presents a pleasing outline, shapely but not overdone. She has a delightful head and expression, from her dark slightly mischievous eyes. Long neck with a slight arch, firm topline, good depth to the brisket and development of forechest and ribs carried well back. Strength to her hindquarters. Moving out with drive and with positive footfall – BOB & Gp 2

Long elegant neck, brisket is well let down, good spring to the ribcage and holds a topline with a slight arch over the loin. Today just a little untidy in front on the move, retaining his outline when going round.

Liked this attractive and shapely 2 year old brindle with white trim dog. Elegant yet masculine in his outline. Lovely long lean head, dark intelligent eyes and neat rose ears. Good depth and fill in, well sprung ribcage, correct topline and underline, strong hindquarters. On the move, not quite as clean in his front action, lovely to watch in profile.

Lovely outline on this 7 year old wild boar bitch, thought her to be of good balance and proportions. Very feminine head, dark eye giving a kind and gentle expression. Her long neck flowing into a firm well held topline and correctly carried tail. Deep and well developed front, good length to the ribcage, and strong hindquarters. Showing herself off on the move, with a good head carriage and holding her outline

2. Mrs House - Gleadsbury Rumour Has It (Mini Smooth Dach)

7 year old shaded red bitch, who presented a smart outline when stood. Loved her attitude, full of beans. Lovely head, dark expressive eyes. Good length of neck, well developed through the body, with ribs well back. Hindquarters show good width. Sound and driving action on the move, just tending to lose her topline today.

Much to like on this 21 month old Cesky bitch. Liked her overall size and shape, showing the desired outline. Feminine head of good length, dark eyes and well placed ears. Long elegant neck, correct cylindrical ribcage and her topline shows a rise to the loin, strong hindquarters. Moving out cleanly and showing drive, unfortunately the heat of the day seemed to diminish her enthusiasm in the group today. Well presented in good coat

Male Cesky Terrier who is coming up 4 years of age. A sturdy mature dog, who has a bit of a stubborn streak to him today. He shows the correct outline when stood. Masculine head, with a kind dark eye. Well developed through the body with plenty of bone and substance, showing the rise to the loin. Strong hindquarters driving on the move, until he put the brakes on! Well presented with a lovely sheen to his coat

Lovely otter head, with a keen dark eye. Correct amount of depth and able to span, moving out soundly. Presented with a good harsh coat texture.

3. Miss Bailey - Rhoderns Haggis At Marjayn (Skye)

Most attractive cream with black points Skye terrier dog. Just shy of his 2nd birthday and looked a picture of strength yet elegant. Strong masculine head, with good width and length, well placed prick ears, and a dark eye. Liked his overall length, strong and firm topline. Moving out well and beautifully presented

4. Mrs Jones - Wyeafon Illusion In Blue (Australian T)

Much to admire on this 2 year old Blue & Tan bitch, she is sturdy and well balanced in outline. Lovely head piece, with a good length to the foreface, flat skull, with dark keen and alert eyes. Good length of neck flowing into a firm and level topline. Her hindquarters show a good width of thigh, put to advantage to drive around the ring. Well presented in good coat and condition with rich tan markings

Promising red bitch coming up 1 year of age. Unfortunately, she was not at all settled today, hopefully time will give her the confidence to show herself off, as she has a lovely shape. Feminine head, nicely balanced. Holding a firm topline with a good set on of tail. Unsettled on the move.

Mrs & Miss Dixon-Hardwick - Aacharmoe’s Dazzle’s Reign (Pom)

Was really taken with this 5 year old cream sable dog, full of character and charisma to show himself off to full advantage. He has a proud demeanour and strutted around this large ring like he owned it – and today he did! He has a most appealing head, foxy in outline, with dark sparkling mischievous eyes, neat erect ears. His body is compact with a good spring to the ribcage. Standing on fine daintily boned limbs onto cat like feet. Shown in full bloom and very self assured as he parades around the ring with positive footfall and brisk in his action.

Timms & Henderson - Budbulls Maximum Impact For Olijah (imp Ser) (French Bulldog)

Super 14 month old brindle bitch, and another who can certainly show her socks off and command attention. She presents such a lovely silhouette when stood. Keen and alert to her handler which shows off her so very feminine head, lovely depth to the muzzle, skull showing a fine wrinkle, well placed ears, and those dark expressive eyes. Well developed through the body, with a good topline with a gentle rise. On the move positive and true, shown in a gleaming coat.

Leech & Moir - Elgrandbear Razz Ma Taz (Newfoundland)

Super quality black dog, who shows such balance and substance at his tender age of only just coming up 8 months. He looks an absolute picture when stood, very proportionate, well boned and lovely substance all through. Handsome and masculine head piece, broad skull and short strong muzzle, dark kind eyes giving a gentle expression. Chest is well developed and deep, holding a firm level topline both stood and on the move. Harmonious in his angulation. Showed with enthusiasm and pizzazz at the end of a very hot day to take the top spot. Beautifully presented and handled to advantage.

L & J Addoo - Reulemill Quacajack (Jack Russell)

This cheeky chap pushed the winner all the way. 11 months old and loved his typical attitude and full of fun character. Beautifully balanced with his body proportions, and standing shows unexaggerated symmetry. Just right for size and sound in his construction. He has the most appealing head, flat skull with very mobile and well used ears, dark almond shaped eyes that don’t miss a thing. Correct amount of depth to the body, which was spannable, firm in topline and bang on top tail set. On the move he has power reach and drive.

Lady S Reilly - Ch/Swiss/Multi/ Int Ch Lisjovia Boris Bear At Darmaror JW ShCM SHCEx CW19 (Pyrenean Mountain Dog)

This 7 year old dog stole my heart today, what a beautiful boy inside and out. When stood he portrays an image of strength and dignity. Balanced head shape, skull nicely curved, strength to the foreface, neat ears, and dark kind eyes. Deep and strong in the body with a well held topline. Well muscled hindquarters. For a big dog, he can certainly shift! He moves around the ring with such grace and style, free flowing to cover the ground with ease. His footfall was precise and clean. Beautifully presented and at one with his handler

Super smart and stylish 7 year old red dog, loved his sturdy and well balanced silhouette, when stood a typical spitz type, and a real eye catcher. Quality dog who made his presence felt. Handsome head, and so very expressive from those dark eyes. Muscular neck flowing into a firm and level topline to a well set on and carried tail. Nicely angulated hindquarters which enabled him to show off his light and energetic movement. Shown in lovely coat and condition.
