Bracco Italiano

Junior (3,1)

Sladden’s, Valcor Killer Queen. Liked this 17 month old chestnut bitch for her type and substance. Excellent head shape with good divergence and big spongy nose. Reachy neck into well laid shoulders with good body proportions. Excellent body with corresponding rear angles. Would like a better tail. Goes with a breed-typical action from all angles.

Webber & Sladden’s, Paris Mon Tresore D’Amoure (Imp Pol) NAF TAF. This 6 month old bitch is so very raw and thoroughly enjoyed her time in the big ring! Good general body proportions for age with the prettiest of heads and correct eye colour. Would prefer slightly more angulation both fore/aft but she is balanced. Fairly collected on the move for such a baby.

Post Graduate (2,0)

Rawlings & Johnston’s, Camelia Della Radura von Lloydrose. This orange was slightly longer cast than the preferred but I liked her overall style very much. Excellent lean head with good divergence and muzzle shape when viewed from the side. Excellent flow from neck into shoulder. Enough leg for size with proportionate bone. Excellent rear angulation with good tail set. Displays such an eye-catching side gait with breed-typical carriage and extension. Needs to settle going/coming to demonstrate a slightly truer action. Loved her temperament. RBOB, congratulations!

Sladden’s, Valcor Killer Queen.

Open (1,0)

Sladden’s, Valcor The Confessor at Canemamans JW. Did this chap well as a youngster and nice to have him back as a more mature package. Orange/white who is a pleasing picture for strength, type and balance. Quite middle-sized with ample bone. Liked his length of head with obvious divergence, lean through his skull with a big nose. His neck flows cleanly into well laid shoulders with an excellent length and return of upper arm. Glad he has continued to mature through his middle piece. Strong topline, complimentary rear angles and firm hocks. Shows good co-ordination and carriage on the move while retaining his shape. BOB, congratulations!

Weimaraner

Puppy (1,0)

Morris’, Kalimor Tinker. Liked her overall shape and proportions. Prettiest of heads showing age-appropriate development through skull and muzzle. Excellent reach of neck into a well-made forehand combined with super bone and feet. Excellent body for age with time to develop further. Good topline and tail set. Moderate rear angulation with a wide pelvis and firm hocks. Showed excellent co-ordination and balance on the move for one so young, really liked her. RBOB & BPIB, congratulations!

Junior (4,1)

Morris’, Kalimor Tinker.

Porter-Manning & Porter, Wallaroo Kynki Bootz. One I have done well previously and so pleased to see him continue to develop along the right lines. He is well off for bone with a commanding presence from the moment he enters the ring. Masculine, aristocratic head of correct proportions. Good reach of neck that flows into an excellent forehand with well developed forechest. Good spring of rib for age with time to develop further. Moderate hind angulation with short hocks. Once settled, he displayed such an eye-catching side gait. Preferred the firmer hocks on the stack of 1 today.

Post Graduate (3,1)

Morris & Randall’s, Kalimor Dottie JW. Very balanced bitch built on clean lines. Liked her body proportions. Ultra-feminine head with moderate stop and long leathers. Her angulation both fore/aft is balanced. Well bodied up with plenty of shape underneath her. Wide thighs and firm hocks when viewed from behind. Smooth and effortless on the move with the soundest action going/coming.

Jennings, Wallaroo Romeo. Scores heavily in bone, forehand angulation, body proportions and muscular condition throughout. Masculine head with tight lips and correct eye shape/shade. Would prefer a shade less rear angulation to balance with this front. Very easy on the move maintaining a good overall shape once settled.

Open (3,2)

Upton-Lovett & Upton’s, Sh Ch. Gunalt Lustrous with Roydack. This bitch pleased me greatly for her correct body proportions and shape. Very pretty head and eye with long leathers. Plenty of neck that flows well into her shoulders. Good bone for size with neat feet. Excellent spring of rib with a level topline that flows into a correct tail set. Moderately angled in the rear with firm hocks and width over the pelvis. Liked her deportment and tail carriage on the move, demonstrating effortless forward reach and uses her hocks well. BOB, congratulations!
