Burton On Trent KA (03/12/23)

Thank you to the committee for the kind invitation and hospitality on the day. The entry was affected by the snow that appeared in less than 24 hours, well done to those who braved it!

Italian Spinone

Puppy (4,1)

Dewdhala Sempre Agnese (Wagh). Really liked this just 6 month old bitch. Excellent type and overall shape. Head needing to develop but of good proportions with desired leanness and big spongy nose. Excellent angulation both fore/aft with a correct topline and thick skin. Loved her width through her quarters. Showed very impressive co-ordination on the move for such a young puppy with such an easy, rhythmic action. Thought her to be most promising. RBOB & BPIB, congratulations!

Geeseco’s The Wonders Of You (Turner). A smaller framed bitch but presented a typical outline with good overall proportions. Prettiest of heads with low set ears and correct eye shape. Decent neck into good shoulders, strongly boned limbs with well developed body for age. Very good rear angulation. Needs confidence on the move but was sound going/coming.

Montecani Twist By The River (Cresswell)

Junior (1,0)

Dalebourne Core (Banks). Really liked the very open side gait of this youngster. Feminine head with kind expression and big nose. Balanced angulation both fore/aft with breed-specific topline. Needs to still learn her craft.

Post Graduate (4,3)

Ilsolo Work From Home (Turner). Very typy bitch with such a correct outline and typical proportions. Ultra feminine head with kind eye, correct divergence and big nose. Liked her correct angulation and depth of body with correct topline and underline. Thick skin with breadth through her quarters. Easy action on the move from all angles, preferred the hind action of the puppy in the BOB challenge.

Open (4,2)

Inostricani Flanna (James). One I have judged previously as a youngster who lost out on maturity. Today she came back as the finished picture. She still presents a pleasing picture for type. Head is well proportioned and lean with good divergence. Like her forehand with correct topline and well sprung ribs. Well off for rear angulation. True both going/coming and covers the ground well when viewed from the side. BOB, congratulations!

Rhodesian Ridgeback

Puppy (3,3)

Junior (3,3)

Post Graduate (4,3)

Stasimelsie Mace (Hancock). Very middle sized, typical bitch presented in good, hard condition. Prettiest of heads with correct ear set and eye shape, strong through her muzzle with correct pigment. Balanced angulation both fore/aft with plenty of leg. Firm topline and underline. Carries herself well on the move maintaining her topline. Preferred the front action of the Open winner. RBOB, congratulations!

Open (2,1)

Patemeliann Wicked Lady Jolihem (Hemstock, Sanjesh & Hemstock). Very striking outline to this bitch who immediately impressed for her strength in bone and clean lines. Excellent head with strength throughout while maintaining her femininity. Reachy neck that flows into her shoulders. Straight limbs with excellent feet. Good spring of rib with a firm topline. Plenty of rear angulation with correct croup angle. Goes on a long stride when viewed from the side with parallel front/hind action. BOB, congratulations!
