My sincere thanks to the committee for their kind invitation to judge at this very special event. Strong competition coupled with good sportsmanship reminded me of village shows a long time ago. Such a lovely atmosphere with great and efficient organisation. The day was very much a social as well as a sporting event with superb refreshments on hand for all to enjoy.

Thank you to all exhibitors for the way you received my decisions and the sporting way you applauded class winners all the way through. It was both a pleasure and a privilege to go over your dogs and I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

1. Jones; Breaksea Time Trial at Mollyfleck. Bearded Collie. Balanced and looking nicely elegant, Good head, mouth and ears. Ample depth and forechest. Powerful rear quarters showing good, light drive on the move. Tight and well cushioned feet. Good angulation.

2. Lewis; Lestatt Love Machine at Tyssul (IRE) Chihuahua Long Coat. Pleasing outline, correct type and with typical head and expression. Carried and used ears correctly. Good angulation front and rear, well sprung rib. Straight, muscled hindquarters. In good coat and moved ok

1. Thomas; Chesmes Kutya Magyar Gryff at Mournebrake. Hung Puli. Firm sturdy body, excellent coat. Broad skull, correct ear set and carriage. Good angulation front and rear. A graceful, nimble and driving movement.

2. Lewis & Moore; Kidenoan Behind Marek Von Trannion Von Trannion. WSS. Compact, short-coupled and in truly firm condition. Keen, alert expression – correct skull to muzzle proportions and ears nicely erect.

1. Lusty; Blamorder If Only. Aus Sh. Stood proud and alert. Loved head and appealing expression. Clean cut, good eye and ear set, good reach of neck and plenty of bone. Good depth of chest. Well-bodied and good front and rear angulation. Moved well, with drive and purpose – front and hindlegs moved straight true and kept a level topline.

2. Beasley; Marlyoak Just A Little Bit. Tib Sp. Lovely shape to this one. Correct size Good length of body - correct tail carriage and moved well

2. Alexander-Ford; Settandfush Nenagh. Iri R/W Sett. Smart and well balanced. Excellent coat and at one with his handler. Correct skull, good ear set and carriage. Good angulation front and rear.

1. Thomas; Mischran Asherah At Mournebrake. Borzoi. Elegant. Presented in lovely condition. Good head with keen and alert expression, good reach of neck sloping nicely, correct length of athletic body, broad and deep chest, balanced front and back. Moved well.

2. Moore; Kidenoan Second Flite. WSS. Pleasing outline, correct type and with typical head and expression. Carried and used his ears correctly. Good angulation front and rear, well sprung rib.

1. Connor; Judeffery Jovial Of Ringablok. Fr Bulldog. Pleasing expression, sturdy and compact. lovely dark eye and ear set – medium and slightly rounded, well-arched neck, a little heavy on the correct broad shoulders. Good bone, good depth of chest, balanced front and correct moderate angulation. BVIS

2. Williams; Layways Now And Forever Bodlon. Whippet. Well balanced throughout. Good head qualities and eye colour. Good neck and hindquarters and moved well

1. Lewis; Trixhund Bumblebee. correct size and proportions. Tapering head sloping nicely. Good reach of neck, slightly arched. Ample depth of forechest. Back level and well-sprung ribs blending nicely. Muscling developing on rear quarters, but still showing good drive on the move. Correct coat. Thick and well-padded feet.
