Many thanks to the committee for the invite to judge both varieties of BGV’s and also to my stewards who did an impeccable job in keeping the ring going.

GBGV

Puppy (1,0)

1 Moult & Bailey’s Wilmit Mirabelle For Boneveon. 11 month tri bitch of good proportions with a lovely feminine head and kind expression. Ears of good length and set. Good length of neck with well-laid shoulders which lead into a topline which will hopefully firm up with maturity. Would like a slightly better upper arm. Ribs reach down to elbow and extend well back. Moderate bend of stifle. Tail has a good set but perhaps would like it slightly longer. Coat is harsh and well presented with a thick undercoat. Moved well although would like her to use her front better. Promising puppy. BP.

Junior (1,0)

1 Milton’s Wilmit Magicien. Litter brother to the BP. Tri-colour. He has good proportions with slightly more leg than his sister previously and with more moderate angles. Noble head with a beautiful big black nose. Ears are set on well, just below the line of the eye, but would prefer them slightly longer to be critical. Good shoulders. Ribs reach down to elbow. Moved well but could be a touch close behind. Wonderful coat texture.

Post Grad (1,1)

Open (3,1)

1 Milton’s Ch WilmitJugeote. 4 year old tri bitch with lovely proportions and a great coat which was presented well. Beautiful feminine head but still retaining that noble expression the breed requires. Ears set on well with good length. Loved her angles front and rear which she used on the move so well, creating that free movement with her head carried proudly. Short hocks. Tail is of correct length and carried well. I just loved her. BOB and delighted to hear she went G4 later in the day.

2 Bailey & Moult’s Gairside Special Event For Boneveon. Another 4 year bitch with different proportions to 1 being slightly shorter backed. She is very feminine with a lovely head and kind expression. Would prefer better front angulation to be critical. Nice short hocks and moderate rear with a tail of good length. Wonderful coat and well presented. Moved well although would like more reach in the front.
