Super boy of excellent type. Young but already very eye-catching. Dark expressive eye with good pigment. Most pleasing head. Nicely constructed. In good coat. Moved with plenty reach and drive and with good attitude. So much to like. Loved him for type.

2nd: West. OJONS GHOST RIDER DE L’AIGE TOURNELLE SHEPALION. White Swiss Shepherd.

 Lovely head with super bone and good feet. Good shoulder, well ribbed back. Good width to hindquarters. Would prefer a shade more reach in front.

BELGIAN SHEPHERD DOG (TERVUREN)

OPEN DOG OR BITCH (3:1)

1st: Stansbury. UK CH. DOMBURG BY APPOINTMENT AT WOODBRIAR. 

In full coat, presented and handled to perfection. This mature male commands attention. He has the most delightful head and eye with super expression. Straight front, excels in shoulder line. Good length of back, well developed powerful quarters. Balanced throughout. This small ring did him no favours today as he just didn’t have enough room to extend as I’m sure he can. I’d love to see him outside. Quality male from the top drawer. Best of Breed

2nd: Banfield. CLIFFEAST BOB THE BUILDER.

Gorgeous head and eye with super use of ears, resulting in a wonderful expression. Excellent topline. Still developing. Has good extension. Really nice type, just needs a bit more time to fulfil potential.

SAMOYED

POST GRADUATE DOG OR BITCH (4:0)

1st: Willcock. TI AMO BOSCHI VECCHI FOR DYNAR (imp Ita.).

 10 month old. Very well balanced. Already in great coat. Super head and expression with lovely dark eye and excellent pigment. Excellent shoulder and good forehand. Well ribbed all through. Strong in loin. Moderate hindquarters. Well muscled and today putting on a really good show. She has so much to commend and with the best of footfalls, she is full of charisma and I was delighted to award her BPIB and Puppy Pastoral Group 1.

2nd: Prout: FROSTI FLUFF AT FURZELAND.

 Another who has much to like and yet again nice head and eye shape, although would prefer a shade darker in eye for my ideal. Level topline. Good bone and feet. Good body proportions. Just a bit distracted on the move today.

OPEN DOG OR BITCH (5:0)

1st: Willcock. Be.Ch. DYNAR FIRST LOVE Rsm Jch Be Jch Bjwnl’19.

 5 year old bitch who was a super mover and put on a fine performance. She is balanced with good front and complimentary rear. She is well proportioned throughout. Delightful head with good eye and pigment. Good lips. All very characteristic of the breed. She is moderately angulated behind encouraging her true, positive movement throughout. Delighted to award her BOB and 3rd in this quality Pastoral Group today.

2nd: Willcock. MISHKA NO SEVERE JAM N HONEY FOR TEA AT DYNAR (Imp. Rus) Bel Jun.

 Another with a pleasing head and excellent pigment. She has a good tail set and carriage. Some similarities in shape to 1. Excellent in hindquarters although would prefer a little more development in forehand.

3rd: Prout. JACKSON MALTAYAD AT FURZELAND.

POST GRADUATE DOG OR BITCH (5:0)

1st Ware: OLD GOLDEN GATES EVOLUTION IN BLUE AT WASSALL (Taf/Naf).

Merle bitch with excellent bone and feet. Super front. Dark eye with excellent pigment and expression. Deep well developed chest. Super width over the croup. Strong moderate hindquarters. Of a lovely type. Moved well with great carriage. Well presented here today. BOB.

2nd: Hawkins. SERENLAS BLACK MAGIC.

Tri dog. Presents a very pleasing picture on the stack. Has good stature, very nice type. Nicely made throughout. So much to like. Moved well. 

3rd: Scamp. AARONWELL ALLURE IN BLACK.

1st: Hawkins. SERENLAS BLACK MAGIC - 2nd in Post Graduate.

2nd: Ware. KIND OF MAGIC DELIA BUCA DELLE FATE AT WASSALL.

So much to like in all departments. Really liked her type. She definitely made an impression on me pushing the winner all the way. The floor surface did her no favours. Was really nice under the hand and well put together in good coat. 

3rd: Scamp. STREGATA THE MALEFICENT AT MARKETDENE.

SHETLAND SHEEPDOGS: I will happily say that this is one of the best appointments I have judged for this breed, for depth of quality. Not just in the winners, but throughout the entry. Many looked fabulous on the stack and I was truly nit picking through the classes. For me, the final line-up looked shapely and they moved with some style. Thank you for bringing your lovely exhibits to me today. It gave me much pleasure judging them and decisions were close throughout the day.

1st: Moore. FRECIA GOLDEN SALUTE AT SANTIARA. Pleasing head. Super bone and feet. Presents a nice picture on the stack. Really nice width over the pelvis. Good in hindquarters. Excellent croup. Smart little package. Excellent on the move. Best Puppy In Breed

2nd Mitchell. KEYCHARM CHA CHA CHA AT LOWENEK.

 Full in coat, lots to like and pushed the winner hard. Lovely type pleasing head. Super pigment. Correct in the croup and pelvis excellent ribs. Moved well.

3rd Rossiter. MOLSON MORE ABOUT ME AT COCARO.

SPECIAL YEARLING DOG OR BITCH (3:1)

1st: Haensel. SHERKARL COPPER LOAD OF THIS.

Lovely head and expression. Super bone and feet. Good depth. Nice proportions. Very showy, uses herself well on the move and has much to commend.

2nd Hirst. SUNDARK SYMPHONEY IN SUEDE.

 Well ribbed back. Nice type. Good eye and expression with well-placed ears. Excellent pigment. Good width in quarters. Good topline and tail set. Moved okay.

POST GRADUATE DOG OR BITCH (5:1)

1st: Hirst. SUNDARK SCARAMOUCHE.

 Really lovely to go over. Uses himself well on the move. Well-proportioned with nice balance and very nice type. Very nice under the hand with each part fitting seamlessly into the next. Very pleasing in head. Good bone and feet. Great ribs and croup. Excellent mover.

2nd: Mitchell. LOWENEK COCO.

Another smart one. Big ribs with excellent pelvis. Good proportionally all through. Excellent quarters. Good tail set. Good head and a very nice mover.

3rd Mitchell. MILESEND THISTLE AT LOWENEK.

 Tri in full coat. Really moves out well. Carries himself beautifully with super footfalls. An efficient mover. Most gorgeous head and eye with delightful expression. Good in pigment and underjaw. Good bone and feet. Ribbing of good length depth and spring. Slight rise over the loin. No excess anywhere. Super mover with the best of carriage. Best of Breed.

2nd: Eldred. KARMIDALE TALK OF THE TOWN AT BELTHORNE.

Excellent condition throughout. Another who moves out really well. So much to like in all departments. This was a tight competition.

OPEN BITCH (5:1)

1st: Haensel. PHILHOPE SUMMER HIGHLIGHTS AT SHERKARL.

 Beautiful construction and presentation. Moved really well. Flows gently and seamlessly from one part to the next. Very well balanced throughout. Extremely typey. Delightful head and expression. Great mover. It was a tight competition for Best of Breed with this one pushing the winner all the way.

2nd: Mitchell. KAARMIDALE SECRET LOVE AT LOWENEK.

 Super head, correct ear set used to advantage at all times. Lovely over the rear. In fantastic condition and had such an attitude. 

3rd Hirst. SUNDARK SPIRIT MISTRESS.

POST GRADUATE DOG OR BITCH (8:0) 

A good class with thought provoking decisions. All were well presented and in the main well-schooled. It would have been nice to have judged in a bigger ring to really get the full potential of the exhibits but we did the best we could with the conditions we were allocated. Thank you so much for supporting me - I enjoyed my day judging your lovely dogs. Temperaments were fabulous.

1st: Rivers. ORARA’S FRENCH SILK AT MERRIMAK JW.

 Lovely pair headed this class. With the winner having that bit more maturity and development throughout. She is so typey, with the most glorious head and eye. She has such style and attitude and although young, she knows what she is. She is balanced, proportionate and full of type. Dark expressive eye. Balanced head with good ear set. Good front and enough fill in chest. Well ribbed back. Nicely developed rear, moderate but strong. Held her top line well as she moved. I predict a bright future.

2nd Pickup. KILTANDALE HEAT OF THE NIGHT.

This puppy is of the same mould. Has super construction fore and aft. Excellent head. Good width over the croup. Strong topline, correct tail set and moved with plenty rear and drive. Best Puppy In Breed.

3rd Webb. ELTIMARIS HIP HIP HOORAY.

OPEN DOG OR BITCH (4:1)

1ST: Betts. PIPADENE XTRAA HINT OF CHILLI JW

This 20 month old, light slate bitch, was put down here today in the epitome of condition. Not just in her superbly presented coat but the strength and definition of her muscle too. She is at one with her handler and they make a formidable team, quiet, unassuming but with the easiness of sheer quality that demands your eye. She is presented to absolute perfection and is already quite mature. She is superbly balanced and exudes type. I loved her head and eye. Good length and strength in neck leading to well-developed shoulder, good length of upper arm and enough fill in front. Her big ribs are carried well back and are deep and well sprung. Excellent in the hindquarter. Correct topline and well placed tail. Her movement is effortless - she almost floats as she covered the ground today. Delighted to give her BOB and she continued showing so well to take the top spot in this quality Pastoral Group. Delighted to hear later, as I was driving home, that she finished the day as Reserve Best In Show.

2nd: Patterson. CORIMIST OVER THE RAINBOW AT ELTIMARIS.

 Nice head and eye. Excellent ribbing. Good hindquarters. Good depth throughout. Excellent topline and tail set. Moved well.

3rd: Steele. ROCPEN JURO TWILL.

 Lovely mover put down in the best of condition with excellent muscle. Superb shoulder, excellent forehand. Well ribbed up and good in the quarter. Dark eye with good pigment and of correct shape. Nice finish to foreface. Good bone and feet. Very appealing mover.

 Super coat and condition. Excellent muscle well developed. Quality bone with tidy feet. Correct ribcage. Short and strong in loin. Good wide over the hindquarters. Pleasing in shoulder. Moved well. Best of Breed.

SPECIAL YEARLING DOG OR BITCH (3:2)

1st Lee. VILLANYDA WITCHES MOON (Imp Esp).

 This red merle bitch is really nicely put together. Solid level topline with an easy open gait on the around. She is quite lovely under the hand. Moderate and not overdone. Good bone and tidy feet. Nicely balanced throughout. I liked her movement a lot. Best Puppy in Breed and Puppy Group 3.

POST GRADUATE DOG OR BITCH (1:0)

1st: Lee. AOIRSTAR HUNTERS MOON OVER AMENBURY (Imp Ire).

 Tri. Has all the essentials and is put down in hard muscular condition. Pleasing in upper arm and shoulder. Good depth and well ribbed. Presented today in good coat. Solid and true on the move and has good attitude. Best of Breed

1st: Lee. VILLANYDA WIZARDS APPRENTICE FOR AMENBURY (Imp Esp).

 Excellent coat and condition. Super quarters. Nice shoulder and upper arm although a shade wide in front. A bit strong in muzzle for my preference. Good depth and well ribbed. Pleasing on the around.

1st: Critchlow. PAVOSKAS FOREST JW.

 20 month old already very full in coat. Excellent topline with correct tail. Quality bone, well placed and used ears. Very nice expression. Good depth throughout and good proportion on this wolf sable boy. Interesting to note he is the son of my Best of Breed winner.

2nd: Ellis. TOBANYARUU BOREALIS BLIZ.

 Lots to like in many departments. Pleasing face. Excellent shoulder and good feet. Good in quarters and with a nice attitude. Just needs to tidy up on the move which was not helped by the ring size.

OPEN DOG OR BITCH (3:0). Loved both these exhibits and it was a close decision between them. Both scoring majorly with all the essentials. Thanks you for bringing your lovely charges for my opinion.

 Super head, correctly proportioned. Excellent in underjaw. Good eye colour and expression. Well balanced, clean and classy. Correct ear set and good use of ears. Super shoulder, good fill in front. Deep chest and well ribbed up. Strong in loin with excellent quarters. Really tidy mover with easy reach in front covering the ground easily as he went. I liked him a lot Best of Breed and Group 4.

2nd Critchlow. CH. PAVOSKAS DISCO JW.

 Without having to repeat myself and I hate to use the old adage but… many of the same remarks apply. She is quality all through and has a definite stamp of type. She exudes quality under the hand and is another tidy mover. Delighted to have the opportunity to judge her. She’s a smart one.

 Brindle with good attitude. Excellent condition. Good topline and tail set. A shade soft in coat. Nice mover with good attitude.

3rd Lee. CHRISHAMA ICE DIAMOND FOR AMENBURY. Tidy puppy. Extends well, carries its topline well. Tidy little mover. Best Puppy in Breed.

Lovely young bitch who is a super mover. She is of excellent proportions and nicely put together. Still obviously needs some time to fulfil her potential but there is much to like.

Smart little puppy coming along nicely with more to develop will watch with interest. Best Puppy In Breed.

Gorgeous expression, very nice head. Strong in underjaw. Super feet, well arched and tight toes. Excels in forehand. Good bone. Lovely long ribs with good spring and depth. Good width over the quarters. Sufficient desired bend of stifle. Good on the croup. Loved the coat texture. Very nice open gait on the around. Best of Breed

 So many remarks similar to 1. So much to like. Well put together. Moved well, another with good coat texture.

Excellent shape and balance. Super head and eye. Correctly placed ears with good length. Good in underjaw. Strong feet. Stylish. Good topline with correct croup and good tail. 

2nd Jacobs-Pearce. ARUNDALL MITHRA: 

Level topline, good quarters. Excellent muscle. Well proportioned.

3rd Sweet. ARUNDALL EBONY

Beautiful head and expression. So pretty but with valued strength. Strong well-muscled neck leading to excellent shoulder and complimentary return of upper arm. The best of ribbing throughout. Stands on quality bone and good feet. Excellent width and length throughout the pelvis. A quality girl who moved well. Best of Breed.

OPEN DOG OR BITCH (5:0). Really nice pair headed this class. Lovely style. 

1st Poulton. MEDDOBE SPICE GIRL.

Refined but classy bitch. Level topline with correct tail set. Quality bone and good feet. Very nice head. Super expression with well-placed ears. Good length of neck leading into good front assembly. Excellent ribbing and good in hindquarter. Moved well, so sound. Best of Breed.

2nd Ellis. KIMAROFF’S SIDNEY.

Nice head and very sound. Balanced and well angled fore and aft. Put on a good performance. Excellent coat texture.

2nd: Elliot & Briggs. HEATHBANK PALIKI AT BELLPINS Naf. Hungarian Pumi.

Most lovely head with correct ears. Good bone and tidy feet. Well ribbed back and good coat. Moved well when settled.

3rd: Hansford. CAMI VIDO BILBO SIRIUS AT PEREGOS (Imp Deu)

OPEN DOG OR BITCH (9:3) Top quality dogs headed this class both filled with breed type and both from the very top drawer. Unfortunately in the competition the Puli pulled up unsound but there is so much to like about this quality dog.

1st: Elliot & Briggs. HEATHBANK FEKETE GYEMONT. Hungarian Pumi. 

So delightful to go over. Has all the essentials for her breed. Good ribbing, quality bone and feet. Good topline and tail. Has great charisma and attitude Best N.S.C. Pleased to award her with Group 2 behind a super bitch who had gotten right under my skin!

2nd: Sharpe. CH. CATSUN COMANCHE LEGACY. Hungarian Puli. 

Top quality and of the desired shape. Level topline, correct tail set. Presented in excellent condition and fit. Unfortunate conditions today. I was excited to evaluate this one - she’s a really smart one.

Compact, short back. Good coat. Pleasing head with neat, erect ears. Level back to correct croup and tail. Deep chested with excellent ribs. Strong, sturdy package that moved well.

2nd: Skudder. HONEYPAWS SWEET TALKING GUY.

Excellent rear. Really well developed in ribbing. The best of coat. Excellent quarters. Moved well. Just a shade stronger in head than 1.

A tidy little mover who showed well. Well-muscled body, good in the quarters. Very pleasing head with good dark eye and nice pigment. Correct ear set and shape. Well-developed bone and good feet. Presented in really good order.

Really nice head of good proportions, strong in under jaw. Dark eye with excellent pigment. Clean in foreface with enough cheek, without excess. He is well balanced with big ribbing. Moderate hindquarters and good topline with correct tail. Was rock solid in topline and put on a good performance today to win Best of Breed.

Nice head, a bit longer than 1. This one still needs a bit more schooling but seemed to be enjoying his day. I’m sure he will learn his trade and enjoy his showing even more. Best Puppy in Breed

Gorgeous, absolutely superb head and eye with the most delightful expression. Really sound in footfall but still needing to learn what it’s all about. Today lacking a little bit of sparkle on the move. Excellent shoulder, long ribs, well developed quarters. Super croup. Definitely one for the future when she learns her job. Best Puppy in Breed.

Coming on nicely in development with a pleasing head. Excels in rear end. Has good eye colour and long ribs. Moved happily.

Another with a pleasing head, good eye and expression. Pleasing in all departments. Very nice under the hand. Footfalls were good although a little bored today.

Excellent jacket. Super head and eye. Fabulous ribbing, in fact, good in all departments. Flows seamlessly under the hand and to top it all off comes together so well on the move. This one put on a good performance in the breed and went up another gear in the group competition pushing the smart Mini Bull all the way. Delighted to award this little cracker. Best of Breed and Terrier Group 2.
