Ripon & District Canine Society

Thank you to the committee for the very kind invitation to judge here today and giving me an opportunity to get my hands on breeds I have yet to have the honour of judging. I was delighted with the quality of the dogs before me. And although you read and read, I felt I learned a lot on the day just speaking to the handlers/owners. Thank you for your entries, I thoroughly enjoyed my day.

1st S Pilatova’s Sabsky Svratka (JW)

2-year-Old Bitch Feminine head with lovely eye of correct colour. A balanced bitch with good shoulder placement and very good rear angulation, she was shown in hard condition and presented very well, sound and positive on the move made this a close decision for BOB, a change of handler and her dam being in the challenge unsettled her a little thus she ultimately lost out to the more mature bitch who didn’t put a paw wrong.

Open (2,1)

1st S Pilatova’s Sabsky Sasanka

5-year-old Feminine bitch dam of the PG winner and has passed on a lot of her qualities to her daughter. This is a well-constructed bitch of good depth and substance without being overdone, strong over loin with good tailset, again shown in hard condition with well-muscled second thigh. She powered around the ring, so precise in profile. Shown and presented beautifully here to take BOB.
