J (3, 2a): 1 Longman’s Crableypeake Alabama, sturdily built brown male of nearly 14 months, clear eyes set wide apart, good bone for size, deep chest, good ribbing, medium length of body, correct rear angles & thick oily coat. Would like to see him moved out so he can really get into his stride.
PG (5, 2a): 1 Broomfield, Mahon-Hunns & Newton’s Glaneils Daydream Believer, stood out for quality, lovely brown bitch, so very well balanced, appeals standing & moving in profile. Definitely alert, she was watching me admire her & has intelligence in that expression with small ears set well up on head, brisket down to elbow, correct ribbing & topline, good rear angles & in good body & coat condition. Good bone for size. You cannot fail to notice her, very well handled; 2 Murray’s Muireatai Teris Love, really on his toes brown male, looks good standing, brisket down to elbow, good ribbing, turn of stifle & oily coat. His tail carriage on the move can be a little distracting but he moved well in profile; 3 Rigby’s Chesepi Ulysses.
O (7, 2a): 1 Thompson’s Sh Ch Arnac Bay Harvest, another who stands out for sheer quality, brown bitch, strong looking, mature, looks capable of doing a day’s work, strong through the forearms, brisket down to elbow, medium length of body, good topline & underline, correct rear angles & well developed muscles & strong through the rear pasterns which are vertical to the ground. In good body & coat condition. She really moved out too. Very well handled; 2 Murray’s Takoda Nathan, deadgrass male, thought him anatomically sound to go over & watching him move he went with drive around the ring. Strong neck into well laid shoulders, deep chest, correct texture to coat, good ribbing, correct rear angles. Preferred his length of body over 3 Baxandall’s Sharbae Prettiest Star.
