AVNSC WORKING

P 3(1)

1. Smith’s Oldeely Hope and Glory. Beautifully presented Portuguese Water Dog bitch of 8 months, appealing head with feminine expression and strong muzzle, dark melting eye, lovely angulation fore and aft with good forechest, good bone, pleasing proportions and good tail set, in excellent coat and well muscled condition for her age, moved steadily with good reach and drive, a nice prospect, Res Best AVNSC and AVNSC Puppy, PG3.

2. Stevens’ Astra Fidelis Iconic NAF. Russian Black Terrier of 9 months, strong head, masculine all through, good proportions and strong bone, lovely temperament, a nice outline standing, just needs to tighten up on the move, coat could be better presented.

PG 3(1)

1. Cochrane’s Cani Felici Bullis Apollo at Asborn (imp POL). Bullmastiff male of 20 months, very strongly made all through, overdone in head for me, very broad in chest, would like a little more length in leg, presented in well muscled condition, moved out ok.

2. Asborns Gotham Can Wait. Another Bullmastiff male of nearly 2 years, head ok but lacked breed type and bone, body proportions were ok, he was presented in fit, well muscled condition and showed some decent movement in profile but needs to tidy up coming and going.

O 4(0)

1. Smith’s Ch/Ir Ch. Gemson Alfamar of Oldeely. Really liked this PWD of 3 years and wasn’t surprised to later see he was titled, strong, masculine head with lovely eye, good muzzle, excellent coat and bone, lovely angulation fore and aft, liked his body proportions, good tail set and carriage, he moved out well with an easy, ground covering gait, Best AVNSC & G1.

2. Garrood’s Ukusa Dobrynya. I have seen this 3½ year old male Russian Black Terrier on a couple of occasions, he is strong and masculine with a lovely dark eye, strong muzzle and excellent pigment, very well presented with a lovely temperament, he showed some free profile movement with good reach and drive.

3. McArdle’s Rosco’s Girl At The Bar in Monascreebe. Bullmastiff.

BOXER

P 2(0)

1. Wilson’s Thorpaige What A Kerfuffle. Very raw baby of 7 months but lots to like about her, well padded appealing head with lovely dark eye, good neck and shoulders, straight front with good bone and feet, sound proportions, she was balanced standing and moving, showed promising movement going away and was sound in profile, BP.

2. Rodemark’s Bonmac Twinkle Twinkle. Red bitch of 10 months where I preferred the body proportions of 1, good bone, expressive feminine head, would like a little more width of chest, even at this stage, was presented well but could carry a little more condition, moved ok.

J 3(1)

1. Hawkins’ Mellhawk Tiger Lily. Smart, well presented bitch of just 12 months, lovely expression, good ear set, good neck and strong shoulders, sound feet, good bone, nicely angulated and presented in good condition, she moved out well both in profile and coming and going once she settled into her stride, RBOB.

2. Hawkins’ Boese Bubbalicious at Mellhawk. Smart bitch of 17 months where I preferred the head of 1, could have a little more padding, sound body proportions, nicely angulated with good bone, moved out ok.

PG 3(1)

1. Weller’s Geenawell Really Fruity. 2½ year old male, strong masculine head, dark eye, well padded in head with lovely expression, good width to chest, sound body proportions, attention to detail to improve handling would benefit this dog, he was presented in well muscled and fit condition.

2. Allen-Maher’s Invictadaw Raquel. 18 months old, a bitch where I would like a better balanced head, good neck and strong shoulders, good body proportions, presented in excellent coat and condition, moved out ok.

1. Kuech’s Boese Jiggerlardo JW. Upstanding young male of just 18 months, a dog I judged as a puppy, nothing to mistake his masculinity, dark eye, nicely balanced skull, good reach of neck and strong shoulders, good feet and bone, liked his angulation fore and aft, lovely body proportions, good width and depth of chest, moved out beautifully, BOB & G2.

DOBERMANN

P 4(0)

1. Schneiders’ Kodam Burning Man at Shantock. Promising young male of 6 months, pleasing head proportions, good reach of neck, straight front with good bone and feet, stood well in outline with sound body proportions, good depth of chest for a baby, moved out well with a steady stride, in lovely condition with muscle, RBOB, BP & PG2.

2. Wetherall’s Kodam Hotspot. 6 month old litter mate to 1, many of the same attributes apply, very feminine head and expression, strong neck and shoulders, sound body proportions and outline, good feet and bone, straight front with nice depth of chest, good top-line, she moved out well when settled.

3. Zecevic’s Supeta’s Sizzling Hot.

PG 1(0)

1. Revell’s Jojavik Midnight Lullaby. Nicely presented bitch of 18 months, feminine head and expression, clean, straight front with good feet, this bitch was absolutely 100% fit and so well muscled, sound top-line, although she had a tendency to ‘roach’ slightly, I am sure this was due to the cold weather, nicely angulated all through with sound body proportions and top-line, showed some easy, free movement when she settled into her stride, BOB.

LEONBERGER

P 1(0)

1. Crooks’ Alfross Tulabo Aberyscir. Appealing puppy of 7 months with profuse puppy coat, masculine head and expression, good pigment, liked his proportions, nicely angulated all through with a pleasing outline standing and moving, turned out in excellent coat and condition, he moved out well when he got into his stride, just needs to tighten in the rear going away, RBOB & BP.

O 1(0)

1. Osborne’s Nexgen All Eyez On Me. Nicely presented bitch of 3 years, kind head and expression, good neck and strong shoulders, straight front with good bone and feet, showed some free and easy profile movement but would like a slightly cleaner movement going away, in excellent coat and body condition, BOB & G4.

ST BERNARD

L 1(0)

1. Alderson’s Cyronelle Dixie Princess at Branbar. Bitch of 16 months, very plain in head and for me, lacking breed type, mouth undershot at present, good bone and nice depth/width of chest, would like a better top-line, even at this age, angulation ok front and rear, she moved out steadily, BOB.

BELGIAN SHEPHERD DOG (GROENENDAEL)

P 1(0)

1. Clarke’s Jetaime Moondance. Very unsettled but equally delightful young bitch of 10 months who was ‘spooked’ by something outside the ring, feminine head and expression with good pigment and ear set, nicely angulated with good body proportions, she moved out well in all directions when she focused, RBOB & BP.

L 1(0)

1. Oatley/Haberer’s Jetaime Georgia. 3½ year old bitch, feminine, well chiselled head, dark eye and alert expression, would like a better top-line as I felt her croup spoilt her outline, presented in very good coat and condition, moved out ok when settled.

O 4(1)

1. Clarke’s Jetaime Saratoga. Another 3½ year old bitch who I felt was carrying just a little too much weight, which, in turn, spoilt her outline, feminine head and expression, would like her a little straighter in front but she had good body proportions and moved out soundly with a steady stride, BOB.

2. Oatley/Haberer’s Jetaime Essence D’Elegance***. Veteran bitch of 12 years in good body condition, feminine, alert expression, would like a better lay of shoulder and more ideal body proportions but she had good depth and shape of rib, a little ‘stilted’ on the move.

2. Brown’s Abidejack Siggy. Young bitch of 10 months, feminine head and expression, lovely temperament, nicely proportioned and quite well angulated with decent bone, moved out ok, just felt she was a little narrow all through and could be broader in chest, presented in clean, fit condition.

1. Waite’s Prairieside Here I Come with Jojoba (imp CAN) NAF TAF. 3 year old bitch, lovely head and expression, good neck and strong shoulders, good feet and bone, liked her body proportions although to be picky would like her a shade ‘up on leg’, moved out well when settled but needs a little more muscle in rear to improve further, excellent temperament, BOB & G4.

2. Sharp’s Sharphouse’s Jasminorange. 5 year old bitch who wasn’t as good in front as 1, feminine head and expression, nicely angulated all through, sound in top-line, in excellent coat and condition, not as free on the move as class winner

3. Brown’s Abidejack Siggy.

GERMAN SHORTHAIRED POINTER

J 1(0)

1. Bunker’s Winterwell Little Itch. Loved this young bitch of 12 months, so well balanced standing and moving, feminine, expressive head with lovely eye, good ear set and strong muzzle, good reach of neck and beautifully angulated all through, her outline standing was put into good practise on the move, excellent top-line, well muscled, she must have a very bright future.

PG 2(0)

1. Bunker’s Winterwell Little Itch. Repeat.

2. Edlin’s Graygees Tsarine. Not quite as free on the move as 1, a 2 year old bitch presented in well muscled condition, feminine head and expression, nice depth and width, nicely angulated all through, showed some promising movement but lost her top-line slightly, I am sure due to the cold.

O 6(4)

1. Dymond’s Sh Ch. Quintana Diamond Dust at Friarsbelle JW. Beautifully presented dog of just 20 months, loved everything about him from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail, lovely reach of neck into strong, well muscled shoulders, straight, clean front, good body proportions and well angulated strong rear, he ‘ate’ the ground when moving with his easy, effortless reach and drive, presented in the fittest of condition, BOB & G3.

2. Braine’s Grenetrest Tulip. Another nice bitch of 5 years, such a lovely temperament, feminine, expressive head and good eye, good neck leading into soundly made shoulders, clean front with good feet, good top-line, she was nicely angulated all through and moved out well with an easy, free gait.

1. Pounds-Longhurst’s Mossburn Galloping Major JW. Male of 2 years, I now see litter brother to winner of my last class, masculine head and expression, good reach of neck and strong shoulders, clean front, good bone, level top-line, well angulated fore and aft and moved easily with an effortless gait.

2. Aldis’ Torryburn Fidelity. 18 month old bitch, she had a lovely feminine head and expression but I preferred the overall outline and top-line of 1st, good neck and shoulders with straight front and correct bone, not quite as efficient in movement today.
