THE NORTH WEST TOY & UTILITY SOCIETY - Sunday 8th October 2023 CAVALIER KING CHARLES SPANIELS Judge; Carla Z Martins I am very honoured to have been invited to judge here at the launching of this new Society's very first show. I must offer my huge congratulations to all of the Committee, volunteers & exhibitors for making it a huge success of which ran so smoothly. . Many thanks to my fantastic stewards Dave Bumford and Lindsey Anderson and to the exhibitors for bringing their dogs under me. I had some quality dogs to judge, which at times made some decisions quite difficult and on another day could be reversed. PUPPY (10 , 5a) 1st. Granasil Tealeaf What a wonderful start to my judging day. A very pretty black and tan baby of just 6 months with a gleaming coat. Correct Dentition. Lovely shape and size. Feminine with a devine head. Beautiful large, dark, round eyes with a melting expression. Moves effortlessly, happily and elegantly around the ring showing off her excellent top line with good reach and drive. Has lovely bone for a youngster. Best Puppy In Breed. 2nd. Spindlepoint Gertie Jekyll A very pretty Blenheim girl of eleven months of age with a deep richly marked chestnut coat. She has such a sweet feminine head with large dark round eyes, well feathered ears & good pigmentation. Has a nice outline when standing but was a bit unsettled on the move today for her handler. 3rd. Luvtayls Fireflash Rose Reserve: Luvtayls Newsflash VHC; Keycav Rocking Robin JUNIOR (9,7a) 1st. Toraylac Harvard A lovely correct size Blenheim boy of 16 months with an exquisite head, lovely cushioning for his age and a true cavalier expression. He has large dark round eyes good pigment and dentition. Has a good front assembly with well sprung ribs enabling him to move soundly at ease around the ring keeping his top line and also when standing. He has a silky well broken coat of deep chestnut. I wanted to write an essay. Showed well for his handler. Best Of Breed. 2nd. Luvtayl Rave About Lovely well broken Blenheim boy of 17 months. Nice head, well feathered ears with large dark round eyes, good cushioning and dentition. Moved well holding a good top line and at one with his owner. POST GRADUATE (13,8a) 1st. Toraylac Harvard - see Junior 1 2nd. Lovetayl Reach Out In Faith Very pretty Tri girl age 3 years. Well shaped feminine head with large dark round eyes & well feathered ears, with such a beautiful gentle expression, good pigment & dentition. In good coat with the correct tan. She moved well with ease around the ring. 3rd. Loranka’s Secret Charmer Res; Russmic Elysia For Cavalicious VHC; Eithlynn Bewitched OPEN (11,6a) 1st. Loranka’s Heavenly Treat A lovely Blenheim boy age 5 1/2 years with such a super masculine head. He has large dark round eyes, good pigment & dentition. Very nice cushioning & ear feathering. He has good deep front assembly, is well balanced and sound which showed in his smooth flowing gait and good top line. Reserve Best Of Breed. 2nd. Spindlepoint Nancy Reagan A very feminine girl of age …3 . Good head shape for her size with large dark round eyes with a true cavalier gentle expression. She is nicely proportioned.
