Dandie Dinmont Terrier

PG (1)

1st Dryfevalley Willow (Jackson). Good overall balance. Large, well furnished head. Correct width of chest and length of body. Well angulated stifles. Excellent coat texture. Moved out well.

O (3)

1st Multi Ch Back To My Roots at Luna Caprese With Torbrae (imp). (France). Very impressive dog with excellent balance and breed outline. Large head with correct furnishings. Low set pendulous ears. Strong neck leading to well laid shoulder. Good length of body. Strong, well muscled hindquarters. Excellent coat texture. Moved with good drive. BOB and G3

2nd Dainty Dandies River Mersey at Lenacourt (Harcourt-Morris). Well balanced all through. Large, well furnished head. Strong neck with well laid shoulder. Good body length. Well turned stifles. Not quite the driving movement of winner.

West Highland White Terrier

OD (1)

1st Jamabis Devon Boy Blue (Biscoe). Well balanced and strongly built. Well shaped head with distinct stop. Excellent lay of shoulder. Chest of good depth. Compact in body. Strong hindquarters. Excellent coat texture. Good driving movement. BOB

OB (1)

1st Ashgate Kirtle (Cawley & House). Very pretty well made bitch. Well shaped head with small ears correctly set. Reasonable lay of shoulder. Compact in body. Well made hindquarters. Good coat texture. Moved out well

Bedlington Terrier

PG (2)

1st Develeigh Blue Thunder (Dobson). Good overall balance demonstrating true breed outline. Still a lot of development needed but this will come. Narrow skull. Good length of neck. Correct topline. Nicely coated. Steady mover. BP

2nd Dunkeswell Pepper Dash (Long). Not quite as together as the winner but a month at this age makes a lot of difference. Well balanced. Narrow skull and well set ears. Correct topline with arched loin. Little weak in hindquarters at present. Moved steadily once settled.  

O (3, 2)

1st Jobanker Rocky Road (Poultney). Very well made with excellent overall balance. Long, narrow skull with correctly set ears. Good length of neck. Chest deep with flat ribcage. Nicely arched loin. Well muscled hindquarters with hocks well let down. Excellent coat texture. Moved out well. BOB

Cesky Terrier

O (2, 1)

1st Komidion Rychnovsky Dajaces (Lewis). Well made all through with excellent overall balance. Demonstrates true breed outline. Head of good length. Well set ears carried close to the cheeks. Strong neck leading to well laid shoulders. Well ribbed back. Strong hindquarters. Moved out well with excellent drive. BOB and G2.

Jack Russell Terrier

O (6,2)

1st Calavey’s Polly Pocket (Moreno-Chamorro). This young bitch absolutely captivated me. She has so much presence and demanded attention. Well balanced all through. Feminine head with strong jaw and well set ears. Clean neck into correct forehand assembly. Well ribbed. Strong, well muscled hindquarters. Excellent bone and feet. Super coat texture. Moved with drive and purposed and handled to advantage. BOB, G1 and I was delighted to hear that she ultimately won Best In Show.

2nd Chandlimore Take A Chance For Wakywilks (Wilkinson & Wakeman). Good overall balance. Well shaped head. Superb forehand construction. Well sprung ribcage of good length. Strong hindquarters. Just preferred movement of winner.

Bull Terrier (Miniature)

O (3)

1st Risibully Have You Seen Her with Fergustaff (Marshallsay). Absolutely super puppy. I was very taken with her. She is strongly made but in no way coarse. Egg shaped head of good length. Long neck leading to well laid shoulder. Body well rounded. Short back. Well made hindquarters with good definition of second thigh. Moved out really well. I will watch out for her progress as I think she is very promising. BOB, BP and PG3

2nd Ch Risibully Girls On Film with Fergustaff JW (Marshallsay). Another top quality exhibit. Excellent overall balance. Long, egg shaped head. Neck of good length. Body with correct topline and underline. Just preferred hindquarters of the winner. Moved out well.

Staffordshire Bull Terrier

PG (2)

1st Kentstars Minerva With Fergustaff (Marshallsay). Well balanced all through. Head broad with well pronounced cheeks. Short neck leading to well laid shoulder. Compact body and well made hindquarters. Moved out well.

2nd Kamaristaff Royal Rumble (Oram). A lovely dog who sadly didn’t give his best today. Broad skull with well pronounced cheeks. Strong, close coupled body with well sprung ribcage. Good hindquarters with well bent stifles. Not really co-operating on the move.

O (2)

1st Fergustaff Tudor Legacy (BOB) (Marshallsay). Well balanced and strongly made all through. Short head with broad skull and well filled cheeks. Short neck leading to well laid shoulder. Well ribbed and sort coupled. Strong, muscular hindquarters. Moved out on a good stride. BOB.

2nd Kamaristaff Royal Rumble. Repeat 2nd PG.

Scottish Terrier

PG (3, 1)

1st Tout Nouveau Tout Beau Du Clan Des Petits Coonels Karmaristol JW (Nixon). Well balanced and thick set. Head of good length with well placed ears. Moderate length of neck leading to well laid shoulder. Good length of ribcage. Strong hindquarters. Correct coat texture. Strong, positive movement. BOB and G4

2nd Pamaswater Flaron (Taylor). Good overall balance. Head long with strong jaw. Ears a little large. Well laid shoulder and return of upper arm. Well ribbed back leading to strong hindquarters. Well presented and handled. Moved out well.

O (2, 1)

1st Apollo Scotties Vegas of Pamaswater (Taylor). Good overall balance. Well shaped head of good length. Moderate length of neck leading to well laid shoulder. Correct in ribcage and strong in hindquarters. Moved with drive - just not as smooth of the post grad winner in the challenge. Excellent coat texture.

1st Tallview Play The Game At Earthtaw (Haydon). Very impressive puppy. Well balanced all through. Clean, otter head with well set ears. Correct length of neck leading to well laid shoulder. Narrow body with good length of ribcage. Strong hindquarters. In excellent coat. Moved out well. BOB, BP, PG2

2nd Raedwulf Moonshine At Tarkaswell (Sansom). Another smart puppy who is well balanced all through. Well shaped head. Little longer in neck than winner. Good forehand assembly. Narrow and long in rib. Well made hindquarters. Little lacking coat at this stage but it will come. Moved out well.

1st Razorside Are You Ready (Pullen). Well balanced and strongly built. Head of good length and depth and well filled when viewed from the front. Long neck leading to well laid shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm. Good spring of rib. Strong hindquarters. Moved out well. BOB.

1st Earthtaw Patrick (Norfolk Terrier) (Haydon). Really smart puppy who I am sure has a bright future. Well balanced and compact in stature. Excellent head with wedge shaped muzzle. Strong neck leading to well laid shoulder and corresponding length of upper arm. Short in back with well sprung ribcage. Strong in hindquarters with well turned stifles. Excellent coat texture. Moved with great drive and propulsion. I loved him. BP and PG1.

2nd Magpiebank Breeze For Marlablue (Manchester Terrier) (Cawley & Stockton). Well balanced with elegant outline. Good length of skull with well set ears. Long neck leading to good forehand assembly. Short in body with correct arch over the loin. Well bent stifles. Moved steadily.

1st Earthtaw Lincoln (Norfolk Terrier) (Haydon). Well balanced and compact all through. Head of good shape with wedge shaped muzzle. Strong neck. Shoulder and upper arm of equal length. Big ribcage and short back. Well set tail. Strong, well muscled hindquarters. Good bone and feet. Correct coat texture. Moved out with good drive and accuracy. BOB

2nd Afonbach First Sign O Spring At Deltandamba JW (NSDTR) (Hipkiss). Pleased to have the chance of judging this very well made and workmanlike bitch again. Well balanced all through. Excellent head with smooth checks and well placed ears. Well laid shoulder. Correct through ribcage and strong in hindquarters. Moved with drive using her tail well
