2nd Stemp’s Siroccomia Ironwood (BP). Very promising puppy. Well balanced all through. Lean head with correct skull/muzzle proportions. Well placed shoulder. Good forelegs with upright pasterns. Well ribbed back. Slight tuck up. Well made hindquarters. Moved well. BP.

2nd Wallington’s HR Ch Nicael Blue Diamond Among Ohanava. Good overall balance. Head lean. Well laid shoulder and return of upper arms. Preferred front pasterns of the winner. Well ribbed back. Strong hindquarters. Good coat texture. Moved on a good stride. RBOB.

1st Hills’ Donay Firefly. Very smart youngster. Well balanced all through. Head of good length with moderate stop. Clean through shoulder. Elbows close to body. Good depth of chest. Well ribbed back. Strong hindquarters. Parallel rear pasterns. Neat well knuckled feet. Moved well on a good driving stride. BOB.


Post Graduate (2)

1st Whitton’s Jalhar Near Lease of Life With Haggatty. Good overall balance. Head of good length with slightly domed skull. Well laid shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm. Level topline. Short couplings. Strong hindquarters. Moved accurately fore and aft with good drive when viewed in profile.

2nd Whitton’s Haggatty Artemis. Well balanced with compact outline. Feminine head with very appealing expression. Good forehand assembly. Just preferred front pasterns of winner. Well ribbed back. Strong hindquarters. Good movement in profile. Little close going away.

1st Whitton & Edge’s Jalhar The Wonder Of You at Haggatty. Real stallion hound. Very well balanced all through presenting a compact outine. Masculine head with well defined stop. Strong neck leading to well laid shoulder. Level topline. Short loin. Strong hindquarters. Good, sound driving movement. RBOB.

2nd Hills’ Donay Fraser JW. Well balanced and compact in outline. Head of good length with definite stop. Not quite forehand construction of winner. Well ribbed back. Short loin. Strong, well muscled hindquarters. Moved on a good stride.

1st Shalka’s Kendulo Blackhole (Standard Wirehaired Dachshund). Well balanced all through. Head of good shape and correct furnishings. Clean neck. Well laid shoulder with good prow. Level topline. Good length of ribcage. Strong hindquarters. Moved with good drive. BP & PG2  

2nd Taylor’s Trageeda’s One Night Only (Mini Smooth Dachshund). Gave a lot away in age but has all the essentials. Well balanced. Conical head shape. Clean neck. Good prow. Not holding topline as well as the winner. Moved out soundly.


Post Graduate (8, 2)

1st Taylor’s Trageeda Anastasia (Min Smooth-Haired Dachshund): Such a showgirl - she entered the ring with that “look at me” expression and performed accordingly. Well balanced all through. Conical head with well set ears. Super prow. Level topline. Well turned stifles. Very powerful movement - accurate both fore and aft and in profile showed good reach drive. BOB. G1 and delighted to hear later that she ultimately won BIS - very well done indeed.

2nd Hills and Thornton’s Absolute Afghans Djibouti At Karnak JW (Afghan). Good overall balance. Long head with aloof expression. Well laid shoulders and good depth of body. Well ribbed back. Strong hindquarters with good length hip to hock and well turned stifles. Moved well considering the ring size. Excellent coat and condition.

3rd Orloff’s Shyllar Rapt In Gold (Basenji)

1st Sutton’s Kindeace Texas Tornado At Damai (Long-haired Dachshund). Well balanced with leg length of correct proportion to body. Conical head shape. Excellent prow. Level topline. Well ribbed. Scores in hindquarters. Excellent coat and condition. Sound mover. RBOB.

2nd Pearman & Sherwood’s Delandmar Katherine Hepburn (Min Smooth-Haired Dachshund). Good overall balance. Conical head shape. Clean neck with excellent prow. Little slack in front pasterns. Level topline. Well turned stifles. Sound movement.

1st Mayhew & Middleton’s Sh Ch Arnac Bay Hebe. (Chesapeake Bay). Outstanding bitch to whom I have recently awarded top honours. If anything she looked even better today with her coat being absolutely at its best. Well balanced all through. Typical head. Strong neck leading to copybook forehand construction. Chest of good width and depth. Well ribbed back. Strong well muscled hindquarters. Moved strongly on an easy stride.

2nd Osborn’s Sh Ch Elbert Lady Sta’dust JW: (Field Spaniel) Another worthy champion and good representative of the breed. Well balanced with correct height to length ratio. Well chiselled head with noble expression. Well laid shoulder with corresponding return of upper arm. Strong hindquarters with well placed hocks. In excellent coat and condition. Moved on a long even stride.

3rd Burrage’s Sametova Bacary (Cesky Terrier). Completed a trio of lovely dogs.
