Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge. I had a lovely entry and thank you to the exhibitors for entering. The steward who kept everything running smoothly. I felt the movement in the bitches was stronger than in the males today.

Puppy (5 entries, 0 absent)

1. Towers’ Alibren Majestic Dawn

A super feminine bitch who has an appealing head and balanced outline. She caught my eye when she entered the ring. Good length of neck onto well placed shoulders, with good hind angulation. She kept her level top line whilst she moved positively around the ring. Best Puppy.

2. Rodgers’ Ambersun Passione Of Odarla

This is another high-quality puppy who sadly just missed out today as she lacked confidence. Pretty feminine and balanced head. Correct front angulation and which is balanced with her hind angulation. Slightly longer cast than 1. Moved soundly.

Junior (3 entries, 1 absent)

1. Towers’ Alibren Majestic Dawn

2. Martin’s Garline Guarding Lola

A very sweet puppy enjoying her first show. A lovely feminine head. Stood on correct feet and had good moderate angulation throughout. Moved well for her age but reflected her age with her puppy roll. However she was very sweet and I hope you continue to enjoy your time in the ring.

Graduate (6 entries, 1 absent)

1. Foster’s Eau My Gold Vd Corner Brook For Auristela (Imp Nld) JW

My notes say ‘wow’. I was drawn to this bitch when she entered the ring. Beautiful bitch who is so full of quality. Gorgeous, balanced head with an appealing expression. Good reachy neck, with excellent forehand and hind construction, which flows and creates a lovely outline. She kept her level top line whilst on the move. Delighted to award her Best of Breed. Later on in the day she was awarded Gundog Group 3.

2. Ewart’s Parlickview Blaze Of Glory Over Beaupippin JW

A different type to 1 but still a very well made bitch. Feminine head with a kind dark eye. Moderate front and hind angulation. On the move she went around the ring with great rear drive and purpose. I just preferred the head of my winner.

Limit (3 entry, 2 absent)

1. Bell’s Hoaaloha Maui JW

A nicely made dog who is balanced and shown in a correct wavy coat. He has an appealing masculine head but is not coarse in any way. Standing on correct feet he is compact with correct shoulder placement with moderate angulation. Moved well.

1. Robbins & Rowark’s Quakerhall Lady Bountiful By Brekswood JW

I loved this girl who really catches your eye when freestanding. She had left her coat at home today but you could see her quality. Feminine head with a kind eye and expression. She is so balanced with correct forehand and hind angulation. Kept her level topline whilst on the move.

2. Trotter’s Baricia Bella Donna JW

A very sweet bitch with a beautiful, feminine expression and a kind eye. She stood on correct feet, with a good fore and hind angulation which is balanced. Moved well but I would have preferred a stronger topline today.
