Cocker Spaniels

P (5,1) 1st Clifford’s Tomarisroan Shining Star of Chamford. A nine month old blue roan bitch of lovely type. Nice head shape with dark expressive eyes, nicely set ears of correct length. Pleasing length of neck and good depth of chest and big ribs. Short and compact with quality bone throughout, neat cat like feet. Lovely croup and tail set. Super sound and very merry! Presented and handled well BP Delighted to learn that she later won BPIS. 2nd Beever’s Dandyjan Dark Defender. A very raw baby at just six months but a quality puppy. Nice head with dark eye and correctly set ears, good length of neck and chest deep but still developing, big ribs with plenty of heart room, short and compact with his body coming along nicely. Coat lovely for such a baby, moved well when settled. 3rd Mason’s Sandlauga Jester.

PG (5,1) 1st Sewell’s Quattrozampe Chuffed’t Bits. A typical orange roan bitch, the sweetest head and expression with nicely set ears. Enough bone for a bitch with excellent shoulder placement, nice rib and body with correct topline and tail set, well bodied. Moved soundly and was merry on the move. 2nd Prydderch’s Rockllocers Soul Singer. A gold bitch of traditional type, very feminine and pleasing all through, good rib and body, lovely rump, would like a little more muscle behind and although she moved soundly did not have the merry tail action of my class winner today. 3rd Cooper’s Charlaza Code Red.

O (7,1) 1st Sewell’s Wintonia Hidden Gem at Quattrozampe. A blue roan bitch with a lovely head, dark eye giving a feminine expression. Nice length of neck, well laid shoulders, chest deep and big ribs. Tight feet. Correct topline, croup and tail set. Nice turn of stifle and well let down hocks, moved covering the ground well. Presented and handled well. 2nd Clifford’s Wyncastle’s French Quarter Smash with Chamford HJCH ShCEx (Imp HUN). A blue dog of lovely type, super pigmentation. Lovely head that is masculine but not course. Good bone, depth of chest and big ribs. Good rear angulation and well muscled. Nice overall shape although a tad longer in loin than my class winner. Moved with reach and drive but losing his topline a little when moving in profile. 3rd Beever’s Snowgate Parti Over to Dandyjan.
