WKC Championship Dog Show 2023 Italian Greyhounds VD (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: Amsel's Ch Florita Tavalino. Incredibly fit 9 year old. Masculine throughout yet has elegance and grace. Super balanced head giving such an appealing expression. Good length to rib and short strong loins. Well-muscled hindquarters. Correct tail. Lovely feet. His coat was presented in first class condition complemented by supple skin. Moved typically and with accuracy throughout, demonstrating impressive forehand lift and reach. His performance in the Veteran Group was outstanding. BEST VETERAN & VETERAN TOY GROUP 1. JD (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: Bird's Tamiskene Hamilton. At 17 months old this charming F/W character is clearly still maturing. He is quality, of a lovely size and portrays the desired outline. Pleasing head, eye and ear set with a lengthy arched neck into nicely placed shoulders. Elbows correctly placed. Straight front and correct feet. Will mature in body. Well angulated throughout and presented in first class condition. Once settled he moved soundly and in style. LD (3 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: Lee & Amsel's Artmeis Jokers Wild. Full of quality. Attractive expression from impressive head planes. Lovely eyes. Super for size and balance of bone. Shown in lovely condition with a fine supple skin, correct well textured coat. Neck is nicely arched; excellent ribbing extending well back. Straight front. Well bodied and muscled throughout with correct rise over loin; balanced turn of stifle. On the move he demonstrated soundness, with correct forehand lift and reach. RCC 2nd: Lowe's & Guidotti's Littlebriton Moon Warrier. Black and of different type to 1 and a tad taller. Balanced head containing a keen expression. Curvy outline with rise over loin; nice tuck up. Well bodied. OK for ribbing. Coat is soft and glossy. Positive mover with lift and reach in front and strong rear drive behind. 3rd: THOMPSON, Miss Jennifer Sarah Blue Lagoon of Bytheiad OD (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: 1691 Chau, & Steel's Ch & US Ch Jaros Ferazi Et Tu Brute At Sfizimio. The ultimate showman of outstanding quality and type. He has a beautifully proportioned head which contains such a bright expression. Arched neck above a well constructed front assembly. Stands perfectly secure producing a defined outline. Movement is confident and animated, being foot perfect and sound, supported by strong drive from behind with desired lift and reach in front. His aristocratic presence was clearly apparent in the large Toy Group Ring where he really came into his own and clearly impressed as the ambassador of today's small, but exceptionally high quality entry. CC & BOB Group 2. JB (2 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: 1697 Manley's Bella Delayna. 15 months. Shown in lovely condition with fine supple skin. Nicely arched neck, ribs extending well back. Straight front and presents a pleasingly clean outline. Correct rise over the loin and nicely angulated hindquarters. Just a little unsure of herself on the move but demonstrated correct action in profile. Attractive head and expression. PGB (2 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: Mellis's Miwell Mary Quant by Lamoye JW. 21 months. Quality red bitch producing a pleasing outline when standing but this flattened somewhat as the class progressed. Excellent head proportions with a bright eyes giving keen expression. Well laid shoulders and correct front. Excellent body. Well angulated hindquarters. Presented in great condition. Stands squarely and moves soundly with lift and reach in front. LB (3 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: Amsel & Rishworth's Artmeis Three Card Trick. I was quite taken by this very feminine 17 month old F/W youngster. She is elegant and of a lovely size with impressive overall balance and proportions. Has a lean, feminine, well proportioned head containing expressive eyes. Neck correct for length and set. Clean front. Curvy topline with complimentary underline to boot. Most impressive on the move. RCC 2nd: Carmody's Littlebritton Dragon Queen, 4 years. Typical feminine head which impresses. Good reach of neck, well set and straight front legs with elbows close, all sport an impressive front assembly. OK for length of rib and depth of chest. Muscled well angulated hindquarters. Her fluid movement was elegant and precise. 3rd: Thompson's Vendetta Forum Romanum of Bytheiad (Imp Pol) OB (3 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: Hayden-Smiths Artmeis Summer Breeze at Birchwind. Ultra feminine 24 month old fawn/white and has the most exquisite head which portrays such a captivating expression. Excellent head planes. Fine ears; her elegant neck fits smoothly into well laid shoulders. Clean front; neat feet. Deep narrow chest and a lovely tuck up. Super topline. Well angulated hindquarters being of hard muscle tone. Impressive on the move; her forehand has flexion and lift . Exceptionally strong drive from behind all produce effortless movement. Excellent coat and skin. Seriously, a very classy lady! CC & her Crown. Congratulations! 2nd: Doherty's Ch Littlebriton Winter Is Here. Mature F/W Pied slightly different in type to 1 but of great quality. I loved her head and expression. She was also presented in lovely condition. Well placed shoulders above correct forequarters aided impressive forehand action. OK for ribbing.
