1st: Kirkman’s Ribbleriver Thunder Bolt Of Kirkara. 7 years old and in great condition. Good balance to head, beautiful eyes and neat ears. Harsh shaggy coat, strong top line with correct neck and tail set. A touch long in body. Front a tad unsettled but moved with a firm positive rear action.

1st: Mumby’s Yorcrechi Has A Dream With Carmichan. 9 months and very eye catching. Great head illustrating that lovely monkey expression with dark, round mischievous eyes and small, high set, neat ears. Super disposition. Sturdily built and harsh coat. Moved with good lift in profile and fabulous hindquarters to boot. Must have a very bright future. Seriously considered for the RCC in the challenge. BPD & BPIB

1st: Shennan’s Ashiblack Caviar. 9 ½ months. When standing, produces an overall square outline with well-rounded rib cage, moderate angulation, well carried tail. Dark expressive eyes portray a very cheeky expression. Neat ears, with good muzzle and chin. Moved very well coming and going and in profile had super forehand lift.

2nd: Arnold-Stronge’s Wizabeanie Tra La La At Meemozett. 10 ½ months and a lot to like. Overall square outline. He demonstrates an excellent profile on the move. Pleasing balance to head which gives typical expression. A touch straighter in stifle than 1. Correctly textured coat. Happy character and another promising one.

3rd: Mitchard’s Wizabeanie One Banana

1st: Shepherd’s Avantgarde Quantum Mutata. Correctly sized head with ample length to muzzle, super width to chin living a lovely finish. Those glistening, dark wicked eyes give such a comical expression! Square in outline; well bodied. Carrying a super dense, black harsh textured coat. Moderate in bone; body compact and well ribbed. Equal moderation in front and rear angulations aided a smooth, straight leg lift and strong rear drive which was particularly impressive in the challenge. Certainly one for the future. RCC

2nd: Currie’s Faehat Trilby. Moderately domed top skull and expressive round dark eyes. Good for neck. Harsh coat and presented in lovely condition. Sturdy throughout with moderate angles and strong topline. Touch longer cast than 1. Coat was of a lovely texture. Moved OK.

3rd: Clifton-Plaice’s Coutureabulls Mucho Loco

PGD (4 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: Shepherd’s Avantgarde Sexy Symbolist. NAF. Lovely type. Correct balance to head having width and correct blunt muzzle. Monkey like in expression with plenty of spirit in those dark round eyes. Small ears. Correct neck and shaggy coat. On the move he held a secure topline and correct tail carriage. A touch untidy in front coming towards me in the challenge.

2nd: Withheld

3rd: Withheld

1st: Mitchard’s Wizabeanie Kuiil. Balanced, square in outline and well put together and definitely ‘all male’. Head of correct size and shape. Adequate neck. Great shoulders. Secure level topline. Well bodied. Neat strong feet. He was certainly the best mover in the class.

2nd: Mcevoy’s. Ashiblack Pearly King For Balata. Pleasing, nicely balanced head with dark expressive eyes; well-placed nose. His profile gives a compact square outline with moderate angles and harsh shaggy coat. He is positive on the move, but today, not quite as accurate coming and going as 1.

3rd: Arnold-Stronge’s Wizabeanie Moff Gideon At Meemozett

OD (7 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: Gruninger, Sweigart & King’s High Wire Walker Of Darkle. 3 ½ year old undoubtedly masculine without being overdone. Neat semi erect ears complimenting a gently domed top skull finished with a blunt muzzle of good width and turn-up. To complete the picture his eyes are captivating. When standing is very correct in outline, adequate length of neck, strong secure top line and high set tail. Harsh coat. Moved with an unexaggerated forehand lift and decidedly positive in action both coming and going. CC (his 3rd – congratulations!).

2nd: Shepherd’s Ch Avantgarde Zonked Out Zappa. A very happy character! Of sturdy build, pleasing substance but not quite as square in outline as 1. Body has a nicely rounded rib. Moved a little too enthusiastically at times. Impressive head with lovely round dark eyes, small high set ears, good length to muzzle with excellent width to chin and finish to face. He sports a harsh coat and well carried tail.

3rd: Clifton-Plaice’s Coutureabull Mr Muison

VB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Hick’s Ch Carmichan Heidi Hi. This 7 year old lady I have judged before and admired. Her head is worth a second look as it is a super fit for the breed standard. She is stylish, slightly comical and possesses such ring presence. Today she was, once again, on top form showing off her many breed attributes. BVIB & later delighted to see her awarded RBVIS.

2nd: Shennan’s Ashiblack Perfect Alibi. Sweet 8 year old and another who belies her age. Lovely size, feminine throughout. Balanced head, well finished and contains appealing eyes. Good for body and topline. Sound mover.

MPB (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: Pirrie’s Riogaioch Dear Prudence. 7 months and clearly promising. Admired her square outline. Impressive head proportions with good length to fore face and super eyes; neat ears, high set. Correct for neck, body having rounded rib, secure backline and well carried tail. Moved well for her tender age. A very attentive show girl. She will not fail to capture attention.

JB (6 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Cary’s Carycares Oh My Darling. Won what I considered to be a very ‘mixed’ class and therefore challenging to adjudicate. Even at 10 months, I accept that she is small but so full of breed type. In particular, she has a beautifully balanced head containing gorgeous eyes, well placed nose and correct width and finish for foreface. Well bodied; correct set tail. On the move she was precise and accurate.

2nd: Oakden’s Carmichan Black Orchid. Another with a lot to like. As yet perhaps not quite as together as 1 but notwithstanding she is very well balanced, her head is expressive and contains appealing eyes. Sturdily bodied having a rounded rib cage and well set tail. Harsh textured coat. Super feet. Moved well once settled.

3rd: Pirrie’s Riogaioch Beth Le Hem

PGB (5 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: Clifton-Plaice’s Coutureabull's My Precious. Square in outline, sturdy and proportionally built. Moderate sized head with high set neat ears. Appealing dark round eyes. Coat OK. On the move, produces an impressive action, particularly in profile, which influenced her placing.

2nd: Kirkman’s Kirkara Marlene Dietrich. A yearling, naturally giving some away in body maturity to 1. Nicely sized skull with an excellent finish. Eyes dark and expressive. On the move she was steady both coming and going.

3rd: Elcome’s Mrs Deborah Scapafield Schwarz Quizz For Debengray

LB (6 Entries) Abs: 2

1st: Shepherd’s Avantgarde Zizzlin Zillah. 2 years and impressive to examine. She is well-proportioned overall. Head with slightly domed skull; neat ears. Expressive dark eyes. Balanced neck. Body with broad rib, secure backline and slight tuck up; well carried tail. Neat ears. She was the best mover in the class but unfortunately, didn’t do herself any favours in the challenge. Undoubtedly of Champion quality.

2nd: Wiggins’s Scapafield Schwarz Raven JW. Different in type to 1 but of equal merit so a close decision here. Head giving mischievous expression. Neat ears, well balanced fore-face. Nicely rounded rib cage, perhaps a touch longer loin than 1. She carries her tail well. Moved well coming going and in profile. Excellent coat quality.

3rd: Cary’s The Dressmaker At Carycares

OB (4 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Hick’s Ch Datiro Gibbontake. Quality bitch square in outline, correct neck and broad ribs. Excellent harsh textured coat. Moderately angulated throughout, she is feminine but possess substance. Expressive dark round eyes contained in a balanced head with is correctly domed, finished by neat ears and a blunt, balanced muzzle. Moved purposely with unexaggerated forehand lift in profile and accurate both coming and going. She was particularly animated on the move and attentive when standing, particularly during the challenge which just gave her the edge over 2. CC & BOB.

2nd: Pirrie’s Afterglow Affenagiggle with Riogaioch. Another beautiful bitch, also out of the top drawer. She is such a happy character! Expressive head with nicely domed top skull; small neat ears, round dark eyes and balanced muzzle. Pleasing square outline, moderate angles and of sturdy build. Super for ribbing. Secure top line, slight tuck up and well carried tail. Harsh coat. An extremely hard decision between two lovely examples of the breed. RCC.
