Some high quality spaniels here today. Temperaments were excellent and all of the dogs showed to good advantage. Many thanks to my two hardworking and very efficient stewards.

1ST 6544 - Gleadsbury It Is Destiny for Anacapa (Mrs H Merry). Great to see this long established affix back in the Springer ring. This young dog provided a good start to the day. Just under 8 months old and he stood and showed like a seasoned trouper! Nice head proportions, good muzzle and large, open nostrils. Good bone, legs and nicely padded feet. Clean neck with well laid shoulders. Good body and ribbing for age. Very good hind action.

1ST 6519 - Elazlan Tribal Craft (Miss E Chandler). A handsome, well coated youngster. Good neck and well laid shoulders. Good bone with tight, well padded feet. Mature in body and ribbing with pleasing depth of chest and this maturity just gave him the edge today. Sound and typical on the move.

2ND 6527 - Russell at Cumani (Imp Ita) (Mrs La & Miss Lv Fugle & Cook). Absolutely typical in outline and has an attractive head and kind expression. Strong loin with good topline and tailset. Decent feet. Lovely, close fitting coat.

3RD 6541 - Hunterheck Fade to Black (Mr M & Mrs A Le-Clerc)

1ST 6552 - Beresford Bolt from The Blue (Mrs T E Topliss). A very classy dog with a lovely head and expression. Clean neck, well laid shoulders. Strong, well ribbed body. Moderately angulated hindquarters and moved out with some drive from the rear.

2ND 6549 - Clentonian Pitch Perfect (Mr R & Mrs J Reynolds). Nicely balanced and very typical all through. Well proportioned head, kind expression. Short coupled with good ribbing and decent depth of chest. Moved soundly.

1ST 6545 - Dexbenella Frilled to Bitz (Mrs Nj Morgans). Grand head and expression with flat cheeks and good muzzle. Kind, masculine expression. Clean neck and shoulders. Strong, well ribbed body. Good bone legs and feet with strong, flexible pasterns. Free moving and sound.

2ND 6518 - Sandylands Xpress Delivery (Mr E & Mrs E Casey & Jayes). Masculine head, good depth of chest and well ribbed with some strength over the loin. Good muscle tone and moved soundly in very typical fashion.

1ST 6515 - Calvdale Ever Thus JW (Mr & Mrs M Calvert). CC & BOB. Classical head and gentle, yet masculine expression. Nicely arched, clean neck with well laid shoulders. Deep chest, strong well ribbed body with some strength over the loins. Excellent bone, legs and nicely padded feet. Muscular, moderately angulated hindquarters. Impressed on the move.

2ND 6554 - Sh Ch Beresford Lockdown (Mrs T E Topliss). Reserve CC. Another lovely head; clean, reachy neck and good shoulders. Short coupled and well ribbed with well set tail. Not quite as settled on the move as the winner but sound and absolutely typical and has an easy, effortless action.

1ST 6520 - Petranella Jubilee Jester (Miss J Charlton). A really delightful character who was obviously enjoying his day out. Well balanced and very typey, kind expression. Excellent dentition. Good neck, well bone with nicely padded feet. Well ribbed with good tailset. Moved soundly. Best Veteran.

2ND 6534 - Gleadsbury Destiny Belle (Mrs C A House). Attractive head and expression. Good bone with compact, nicely padded feet. Ribs extend well back, good couplings. Moved soundly.

2ND 6561 - Allenies Lady Marmalade (Miss J A Unwin). Well balanced head, lengthy neck and clean over the shoulders. Well boned with nicely padded, compact feet. Good topline and tailset. Moved out well.

1ST 6540 - Trimere Turn Back Time JW (Mrs J I Kibby). Typical with a lovely head and expression. Some chiselling and flat cheeks. Nicely balanced with good length of leg and a sturdy, well ribbed body. Moderately angulated and moved out with some drive from the rear.

2ND 6568 - Spuffing Prosecco (Mrs J Weyman). Very attractive head and feminine expression, kind eye. Nicely arched neck and good shoulders. Short coupled and well ribbed. Very good profile action.

2ND 6522 - Trimere Time Flys (Miss S J Corbett). Close up and she too is very nicely balanced with an attractive head and kind expression. Strong, well ribbed body, nicely rounded hindquarters with some breadth to the thighs. Moved soundly and shows to advantage.

2ND 6543 - Dk/se Ch Siegars A Beautiful Mind (Mr K B & Mr M S & Mrs T Madsen & Jensen & Brix). Reserve CC. Another top class bitch, pleasing to handle as she is well made and nicely put together. Grand head, excellent neck and shoulders. Good bone legs and feet. Short coupled and well ribbed back. Sound and typical on the move.
