I enjoyed my morning with the Cavaliers. It’s a breed I have a special affection for as I won my first ever trophy with a Little Breach Cavalier back in the 1960’s, I borrowed him for the Child Handling class at my local Toydog Show and I was thrilled with my win! Temperaments were excellent and mouths were generally very good. I was disappointed in some of the hind action as a number were very close and had little drive or muscle tone. Some otherwise good dogs were penalised for lack of pigmentation. I would remind exhibitors that this is an untrimmed breed! Many thanks to my excellent steward.
