Judge Ms T Forsey (Muzoku)

It was a real pleasure to be asked to judge this wonderful breed today. Although the types varied quite a bit you can all be proud of how your dogs were presented and handled. Thank you to everyone that welcomed me and those of you that shared some of your knowledge and passion for the breed with me. I enjoyed it so much I stayed until the very end to watch BIS. I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Special Award Junior Dog or Bitch – (3,1a)

1. L’Anse Aux Green Meadows Caravaggio Trinashores ( Ms G Giambona )

What a delightful young male at just 13 moths, he had a lovely outline with plenty of substance and an excellent coat. His head and expression was strong and masculine but with a kind, soft, expression. Nice to see nice tight eye lids. He was well balanced and had nice short, strong hocks. Well toned clean and true on the move.

2. Maroteam Ora U Piu Morticia (IMP HUN) ( Mrs H Webb)

Another delightful youngster who has a lot to offer Beautiful head and expression Well balanced frame and angulation. Excellent presentation and sympathetically handled. Very tidy feet. She covered the ground well, one to watch for sure.

1. Mississippi Missouri Walking My Angel. (Drakeford Mr M)

Very well balanced young black dog. Super coat texture and condition. Well balanced angulation front and rear. Confident and outgoing personality, lovely broad head with balanced features, tight lips, good eye shape and colour. Good feet and strong hocks, balanced foundation and he has plenty of time to mature. Covered the ground with ease.

2. Elgrandbear Walkin on Water in Newgraden (Moir Miss A)

At almost two years this young lady is looking super, beautiful head with broad skull and muzzle retaining femininity. A well balanced frame and coat of excellent quality. She has a very good spring of rib and depth of chest. The more she moved the more she opened up and showed her super gait, I also watched her later in the day and her performance just got better and better.

3. Titanbears Fallen Angel (Duff Mr D and Mrs A )

Nicely made girl with a very pretty head. Well balanced features and expression. Broad skull and muzzle , well balanced all through and presented immaculately. Handled to perfection. She was slightly longer in stifle and just not as tidy in rear action as 1 and 2 today.

Tidy black bitch with good angles all through. Super head with breadth and femininity. She had strength substance and power and held her topline well on the move. Nice tight elbows, strong short hocks and strong pasterns. Covered the ground well with purpose maintaining a strong topline.

2. Darkpeak Starlight Express (Farrar, Mr A G & Mrs K J)

Close call between the first two young ladies. I really liked this girl for her size and substance and of course her delightful head. Very nice angulation and breadth all through and presented in tip top condition. She moved with plenty of power and drive.

3. Zentaur Hot Diggity Mycock, Mr J & Mrs T)

Substantial male with excellent bone and substance. Attractive, masculine head, well balanced front and rear with tidy feet. Good coat texture and condition, handled superbly. Bitches edged it on the move today.
