Irish Setter - Minor Puppy Dog Entries: 1 Absentees: 0 1ST​2107 - Pickyard Belvedere (Miss B L Yardley) Very raw baby of just 6 months. Racy in outline with a masculine head of good proportions. Typical puppy movement, just needs time to develop. 956. Irish Setter - Puppy Dog Entries: 3 Absentees: 0 1ST​2101 - Ferasheen Hot Proper Tea (Mrs K & Miss G Sloane) Smart puppy of 9 months. Good balance, deep chest and well ribbed for his age. Handsome head with a soft expression. Moved steadily on an easy stride. 2ND​2098 - Casachared Connors Delaney (Mrs Sa Shepherd) Different style to winner. This puppy has a masculine head displaying a dark eye and kind expression. Good body properties with excellent width to his hindquarters which he used to advantage on the move. Just preferred head of 1st. 3RD​2107 - Pickyard Belvedere (Miss B L Yardley) 957. Balanced, well ribbed body with gently sloping topline. Most gorgeous head with a melting expression. Moved really well holding a firm topline and correct tail carriage. 2ND​2052 - Riverbrue Ophelia Winky JW (Mr B A & Miss C Crocker & Lewis) Litter brother to 1st. He presents a racy outline both stacked and on the move. Balanced angulation fore and aft. Beautiful head and expression with raised eyebrows. It was difficult to separate these two quality dogs but winner just clinched it with his movement. 3RD​2080 - Quensha Remember The Name (Miss A & Miss R Levene & Lewis) 958. Strong, arched neck set cleanly into well laid shoulders. Good bend of stifle and lovely tight feet. Moved with style and drive. Well developed body for his age. Handsome head, dark eye and soft expression. Clean, slightly arched neck. Stands on good tight feet. On the move he holds a firm topline but I would have liked a little more animation. 962. He is soundly constructed with good bone and substance. Masculine head of correct proportions. Super neck flowing cleanly into shoulders. Best mover in the class. 2ND​2038 - Corranroo Celtic Storm (Mr G C & Mrs J Bayne) Longer cast than winner but still balanced throughout. Straight front, deep chest. Good bend of stifle. Pleasing head and expression. Sound and positive movement. 3RD​2063 - Suteresett Rum Tum Tugger (Mrs T & Miss G Gisby) 963. Irish Setter - Mid Limit Dog Entries: 2 Absentees: 0 1ST​2043 - Riverbrue Soldier On (Miss D K Brown) This quality dog has breed type in abundance. He is refined and balanced throughout with no hint of exaggeration. Super head and expression. Wide, powerful hindquarters enabled him to move with drive. Loved his ever lashing tail. 2ND​2070 - Gwendariff in The Limelight with Gilliegrae JW ShCM (Mr G J & Mrs G A Hart) Displays a balanced body with a clean and racy outline. Lovely head and expression. Good front and rear assemblies. On the move he holds a firm topline with good tail carriage. 964. Irish Setter - Limit Dog Entries: 3 Absentees: 0 1ST​2053 - Riverbrue Wonderwall at Hernwood (Mr B A & Miss C Crocker & Lewis) This dog commanded my attention immediately as he has such ring presence. His most handsome head is long and lean with lovely dark eyes beneath his raised brows. Strong, slightly arched neck flows into correct shoulder placement. Ribs carried well back to strong loin and powerful, well muscled hindquarters. His movement was effortless and ground covering displaying great reach and drive with his precise footfall. In the challenge he stepped up a gear to take CC and BOB. Delighted to see him shortlisted in the group. 2ND​2062 - Suteresett King of Hearts JW (Mrs T & Miss G Gisby) Unlucky to meet winner on such form. Masculine head with a lovely dark eye giving a soft expression. Lovely balance with well ribbed body. Gently sloping topline to correct tailset. He is quality from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail. He possesses the most gorgeous head and expression. His clean and racy outline just flows without any exaggeration. Good balance of forehand and rear assembly. Deep chest and well sprung ribs. Covered the ground with ease holding a firm topline with lashing tail. RCC 2ND​2103 - Sh Ch Riverbrue Alchemist Amidst Kespas JW (Mr K & Mrs P Stockton) Beautiful head and expression on this dog who is full of quality. Good depth and balanced angulation. Well ribbed body and firm muscular loin. Covered the ground well on a lengthy stride. 3RD​2094 - Sh Ch Lynwood Hocus Pocus at Settesoli JW (Mrs J P Russell) 966. There is nothing I would change about her. Love her overall shape, balance, size and breed type. She has the prettiest of heads with dark eyes beneath raised brows giving her that quizzical expression. Reachy neck into correct shoulder placement. Excels in front assembly. Well developed body with good spring of rib and strong loin. Muscled hindquarters with good bend of stifle. Her effortless movement was a joy to watch as she flowed around the ring with style displaying great reach and drive. She has power and substance without losing any of her femininity. Best of heads with beautiful chiselling and melting expression. She is sheer quality and perfectly balanced from any angle. She moves with such grace and style.
