My sincerest thanks to the Secretary and Committee for their invitation to judge here today. Thank you to my stewards who were absolutely fantastic, and of course, a huge thank you to the exhibitors for the pleasure of judging your lovely dogs.

1. TRIFFITT’S FOULBY RAFFERTY AT BYJAZZ – 19 month old dog who was certainly on his toes today and made his handler work. Once settled, he presented with a pleasing overall picture both on the move and while standing. Masculine head with good eye colour. Compact body with good spring of rib. Plenty of coat but could have a little more curl. Reserve Best Dog

1. BLADES AND ANDREWS’ KENISAL RINGLETS IN A LAKE FOR ANTDELA –2 year old dog who has matured well since I last judged him as a 10 month old. He presented a lovely balanced picture both on the move and while standing. I loved his attitude in the ring, his tail didn’t stop wagging. Masculine head, eyes the correct shape and colour, with a lovely expression. Good size with developed spring of rib. Very well presented coat, lovely dark colour and curls in abundance. He moved with reach and drive. Best Dog and Best Of Breed. I was delighted to see that he was later shortlisted in the Gundog Group.

1. MCNAUGHT, ANDREWS AND BLADES’ MALANIS BETTINA AT RISALPUR – 19 month old bitch who presented with a lovely balanced feminine picture. Good size, proportions and outline with spring of rib developing. Feminine head, eyes the correct shape and colour, and a lovely expression. She appeared between coats today. Lovely happy disposition, moving soundly around the ring. Best Bitch
