Thank you to the Crufts committee for inviting me to judge this charming breed, they were all nicely turned out and temperament superb, quality entry which I appreciated and thank you all for your entries and sportsmanship.

1ST 15077 - Ch Longsdale Turning Tables at Cwrtafon (Mrs D Roberts) Handsome cream boy headed this quality class of veterans, always a nice start to the day, he makes a lovely silhouette on the stack, appreciated his well laid out head with obliquely set dark oval eyes, neat ears, firm and compact in body, moderately angulated quarters with moderately well let down hocks, high set tail completing the picture, in super coat and condition, showing so well with desired brisk action, excellent in the rear, just toes in slightly in front.

2ND 15060 - Ch Grizwold Loki (Mrs C J King) Attractive red boy I have judged and admired in the past and belying his 10 years, so well balanced and a very fit and active mover, good wedge to head and well placed oval eyes, neck sits cleanly on moderately sloping shoulder, level topline and tail curled nicely over back, well formed quarters, close up to 1.

3RD 15081 - Hocombewood Hot Toddy for Lindcoly (Miss A J Saich) Brown, smaller than 2 above and has a nice outline.

1ST 15070 - Cadasaro Fights On (Mr K O'leary) Cream, very attractive puppy who makes a typical outline both standing and moving, nice for size, good head properties with dark oval obliquely set eyes, good pigment for colour, ears could be a tad neater, clean neckline set well into shoulders, straight front with good bone, firm in body, well ribbed with moderate tuck up, high set tail, well made in hindquarters, in excellent coat and body condition, he moved out really well in all directions, Best Puppy dog

2ND 15053 - Kitsune Notorious (ai) (Mr D & Mrs S Chapman),Nice puppy, Red Grizzle, stronger in head than 1, has lovely neat ears and well placed oval eyes, top size, well constructed all through, moderate slope to shoulders with correct upper arm and elbows close, level topline with moderate tuck up, high set tail, well balanced quarters, moved out briskly and true, in good coat and body condition, pushed 1 hard.

1ST 15046 - Izlou You Know You Love Me of Claran (Ms K Andrew), Black, I really admired the super construction of this young male, lovely size with ample bone and good substance, loved his well balanced wedge to head which fits the standard well, dark oval obliquely set eyes, neat small ears, excellent front assembly, so compact in body, well ribbed back with correct depth, moderate tuck up, his tail is high set and hindquarters moderate with hocks moderately let down, finished off with a super coat and body condition, Excellent mover from all angles and am sure wont be too long before he is titled.

2ND 15052 - Kitsune Gypsy King (ai) (Mr D & Mrs S Chapman) Black and very nice too, slightly taller than 1, appealed in head properties with dark oval obliquely set eyes, clean neckline with moderately sloping shoulder and corresponding upper arm, straight front with good bone, well developed body, ribbed well back, high set tail, moderate hind angulation with hocks moderately let down, in good coat and body condition, moved out well fore and aft, pleasing youngster am sure will do well.

3RD 15065 - Grizwold Odin at Louchelle (Mrs M L & Mr A Lewis) Nice youngster but didn’t match 2 above on the move.

1ST 15079 - Nosregor Hercules TAF (Mr D T & Mrs P A Rogerson) Interesting class with a lot of variants, this black/white parti headed this class on his overall good construction, I liked his head shape and dark oval eyes, small ears he used well, well balanced from and rear with moderate angles, moderate tuck up and high set tail, level topline, he is compact in body, has enough coat, he still needs to fill out and mature, moved out briskly and true.

2ND 15084 - Lindcoly Simba (Mr C J & Mrs L M Saich) Red boy with a massive coat which can detract from his outline, heavier in head and ears rather wide set or maybe just didn’t want to use them? compact in body and well balanced fore and aft, high set tail, moved very well fore and aft, brisk straight and true.

3RD 15054 - Izlou Ketchup If You Can (Miss E Clayden) Cream, makes a nice outline.

1ST 15047 - Claran Copper Nebula at Izlou (Ms L & Miss I Barnes & King) Red grizzle fits easily under the measure, good wedge shaped head and oval obliquely set eyes, nice expression, correct bite, he is well proportioned and balanced fore and aft, limbs straight and true with ample bone, level topline well ribbed, moderate tuck up, high set tail, scored on the move with brisk free movement. In decent coat and good body condition

2ND 15061 - Grizwold Night Owl (Mrs C J King) Another Red Grizzle, nice boy and makes a nice profile standing, good wedge shaped head and obliquely set oval eye corresponding with coat colour, clean neckline and decent forehand, level topline, well bodied, high set tail, moderately angulated quarters,moved out very well in front but toes in slightly behind, brisk and well in profile.

1ST 15050 - Ch Izlou Shiver Me Timbers (Ms L & Miss I Barnes & King) Black,4 yrs, Handsome boy I have judged before, now in his prime, super head with lovely wedge with moderately defined stop, correct proportions, oval obliquely set eyes with lovely expression,neat ears he uses well, clean neck sits on moderately sloping shoulder, elbows close and well fitting, straight forelegs with ample bone, small rounded cat like feet, compact in body with moderate tuck up and well ribbed up, high set tail curled nicely over his back, moderately angulated quarters with moderately well let down hocks, in immaculate coat and body condition, brisk, straight and true fore,aft and in profile, on his toes and didn’t put a paw wrong, CC and pushed hard for BOB

2ND 15058 - Ch Nixtev Zeventis (Mrs N J & Mrs H C H Garbutt & Corkin) Think I have given him a best puppy in the past, now rising 6 yrs and so much to admire, this was a close call and was a case of nitpicking for top spot, slightly taller than 1 but still sits nicely under the measure, makes a super outline on the stack and is compact and almost square as the standard asks for, good wedge head with oval obliquely set eyes, could be a tad darker, clean neckline with well made forehand, good depth and well ribbed back, level back with high set tail, excellent quarters in balance with front, in super coat and condition, moved out briskly, true in front and rear, made a lovely picture in profile RCC

3RD 15075 - Ch Longsdales Rebel Rouser at Cwrtafon JW (Mr G, Mr D & Mrs D Pearce, Francis & Roberts), Black, another beauty so close up to 1&2.lovely outline and good mover.

1ST 15064 - Grizwold Owl Light (Mrs C J King) Gold/White Parti really liked this young male, makes a nice outline on the stack and is compact in body and well constructed all through, good head properties with nice dark oval obliquely set eyes, neat small ears he uses well, clean neckline, well made front assembly, well ribbed with moderate tuck up, moderately angulated quarters with neat hocks, high set tail carried well over his back, scored on his lovely true brisk movement in all directions,in good coat and body condition, should do very well.

1ST 15067 - Ch Jansanleis Mayhem JW (Mrs J, Miss S & Miss L J Moir) Pale good, such a pretty feminine bitch I have already given a CC to in the past, almost 12 and carrying her years lightly, sweet feminine head with dark oval eyes, she makes a lovely shape on the stack, very well knit all through, compact in body, has small neat ears she uses so well and attentive to her handler, moved out briskly and true in all directions, in lovely coat and condition, couldn’t resist her charms for Best Veteran in Breed.

2ND 15066 - Nixtev Xylia Aw(p) (Miss S Lord) Very pretty feminine White, stands herself well, quite refined in head but has good wedge shape and dark oval eyes obliquely set, clean neckline, turns her front feet out a little, level back and moderately angulated quarters, high set tail, in nice coat and condition, she moved out briskly and well.

3RD 15076 - Bulabs Blonde Lady (Mrs J & Mr G Purves) Pale gold, showed well.

1ST 15057 - Cadasaro Fighting Fit for Nixtev (IKC) (Mr S C & Mrs N J Garbutt) Cream, Super puppy with all the essentials, loved her shape on the stack, so attentive to her handler and on her toes, lovely wedge shaped head with moderately defined stop, correct ratios, dark oval obliquely set eyes, clean neckline sits on moderately sloping shoulder, firm at elbows, small rounded cat like feet, well ribbed with short well developed loin,high set tail, moderate hind angulation and hocks moderately well let down, in super coat and body condition, energetic brisk mover and true fore and aft. Best Puppy In Breed, just pipping her brother to the post.

2ND 15071 - Cadasaro Keep The Faith (Mr K O'leary) Cream and litter sister to 1, not as forward or confident as her sister but a pretty feminine puppy who I am sure with the fullness of time will gain her confidence and do well, she is nicely constructed and did move true and well once settled, very similar in construction and has a nice outline when stacked, feminine head with super pigment, dark oval expressive eyes, good wedge shape to head, compact in body, well balanced fore and aft, high set tail.

1ST 15062 - Grizwold Oops A Daisy (Mrs C J King) Grizzle particolour, Really liked this compact feminine bitch, made a nice outline standing, feminine head with pretty dark oval eyes which gave her such a sweet expression,neat small ears, nice neckline and good forehand with straight front and small round catlike feet, level back with high set tail curled over her back, hindquarters in balance with her front, in good coat and condition, she moved out briskly and true.

2ND 15048 - Izlou Gossip Girl (Ms L & Miss I Barnes & King) Pale gold, ultra feminine pretty bitch, tad finer all through than 1 and not in her best dress today but no denying her quality, sweet head with dark oval eyes and the neatest of ears which she uses well, clean in neckline with a good front assembly, level back with moderate tuck up, high set tail, well balanced quarters and moderate let down hocks, she moved out briskly and well.

1ST 15073 - Longsdale's Don't Know Much (Mr G & Mr D Pearce & Francis) Cream, only 14mths but so much to admire and should look even better with some maturity, liked her head properties and excellent pigment, dark oval eyes and neat ears which she used well, clean neckline and well made forehand, level back, well ribbed with high tailset, moderate tuck up and shapely well balanced quarters, in super coat, she moved briskly and with precision to win this good class

2ND 15044 - Claran Blue Aurora (Ms K Andrew) Red Grizzle, smaller than 1 and nicely compact in body, she scored in outline, lovely head and expression and used her ears well, clean neckline with moderately sloping shoulder and good return of upper arm, straight front, back level with high set tail curled over back, hindquarters in balance with front, super coat and condition, very well schooled and handled to advantage, moved out briskly and true, close up to 1

3RD 15049 - Izlou Mustard Been Love (Ms L & Miss I Barnes & King) Another very nice black who held a good outline and moved well.

1ST 15072 - Ch Longsdale Miss Mussell (Mr G & Mr D Pearce & Francis) Beautiful 4 yr I simply couldn’t take my eyes off of her, in the most beautiful coat and condition with a fantastic outline, feminine with ample bone and substance, she was the full package, delightful head and eye with the neatest of ears, clean neckline, so compact in body with an excellent forehand, small round cat like feet, level back well ribbed, moderate tuck up, high set tail which plumed over her back, excellent quarters with moderately let down hocks, she moved as I knew she would, briskly and true in all directions, loved her for CC and BOB delighted to see her shortlisted in the very strong Utility Group.

2ND 15045 - Ch Claran Blue Galaxy (Ms K Andrew) Absolutely gorgeous blue sable and hot on the heels of 1, very similar for make and shape, loved her head and expression, neat ears, clean in neckline with a fabulous front, compact in body with short well developed loin, back level, high set tail and very well balanced quarters with moderately let down hocks, not in her best dress today but couldn’t be denied RCC on her sheer quality, moved and showed really well, true coming and going and a picture in profile, am sure will do a lot more winning on this form.
