I would like to thank the officers and committee for inviting me to judge what turned out to be such a special show coinciding with coronation of King Charles.

The Breed is in such a good shape at the moment with lovely up and coming youngsters and the mature winners still doing the breed proud

Class 3403 MPD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 7930 Walton, Mrs S M B Spiralwood Shining Light. At just 6months old hadn’t really got his round the idea of showing. Good shape all though with enough bone for age Good head shape, clear red and white coat. BP

1st: 7927 Tattersall, Mrs A ALANEA MIRROR IMAGE – CC. What a stunner just loved this boy. Mature for age. Presents a lovely image when stacked. Super head shape with level planes, dark eye and well set ears. Lovely neck length leading to well set shoulders and correct topline Strong oval bone and so well muscled enabling him to move with great drive from the rear and smooth forward reach. Delighted to award him his first CC.

2nd: 7915 Heslop, Miss E Klarnein Lake Side By Bonisla. Young lad with some maturing to do. Nice head shape with good stop and dark eye. Enough bone for age, Neat feet. Moved steadily but not the drive and reach of first

3rd: 7916 Lockwood, Ms Karen Anne Klarnein Musician

1st: 7916 Lockwood, Ms Karen Anne Klarnein Musician. 3rd in junior Very similar to his litter brother who was 2nd. Not as fluid in movement tends to fly his tail.

Class 3408 LD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 7917 Mapletoft, Mr Robert Roanjora Tanqueray. Mature 5 year old strong throughout. Pleasing head shape and dark eyes. Deep chest and well set tail. Strong oval bone. Would prefer neater feet. Not settled on the move day

1st: 7918 Martin, Mr & Mrs S. M LAOIREBAY STEEL BLUE OCEAN AT SHANNONSTYLE JW - presents a compact image when stacked. Like his head shape with level planes, correct bite ,dark eye and well set ears. Good angles front and rear. Well placed shoulders and level topline. Good oval bone And neat feet. Liked his forward reach and drive from well muscled rear. Pleased to award Res CC

2nd: 7925 Tait, Mrs J Sh Ch Talintyre Winter Shadow Built on a larger frame than first. Balanced head with dark eye. Lovely coat and colour. Well muscled, but didn’t have drive of first today.

3rd: 7931 Ward, Mrs L R Sh Ch Cornadore Argyle With Copperwhite

Res: 7911 Gardner, Miss T Sh Ch Alanea Game Reserve With Danwish

 Pretty bitch, not as mature as her litter brother. Correct head shape. Enough oval bone for age with neat feet. Correct angles front and rear, level top line and well set tail of correct length. So we’ll muscled allowing her to move with style. I’m sure she will have a great future.

1st: 7908 Barnes, Mrs L J Ambancy This Is Me. At not yet two years old with everything as it should be but with some maturing to do. Correct head shape with good length of neck leading into well set shoulders and level top line when standing and on the move..Well set tail of correct length and lovely neat feet. Long reach and drive on the move. Should have a great future

1st: 7914 Hart, Mr & Mrs Gill & Graham Berryessa Ballderg with Gilliegrae. Present a balanced true setter outline when free standing everything as it should be. Lovely cost and colour. Correct head shape with level planes, strong neck and level topline. Moved with reach and drive. Considered her for res CC but not the finish as the older Bitches yet but her time will come.

A class full of top quality mature Bitches that have done the proud over the years, with little to separate them.

1st: 7921 Sherratt, Mr T & Blackwell Sherratt, Mrs M E Sh Ch Alanea Holly Fern At Charnborough

 Loved her overall shape so correct. Deep chest, good amount of strong oval bone She’s certainly learned her craft well now from the naughty young girl that I judged years ago.She had the most beautiful head with correct bite and dark eye that still retains a sparkle. Strong neck of good length and correct angles front and rear. Well set tail. Well muscled enabling her to move driving from the rear and smooth forward reach. CC and BOB

2nd: 7929 Walker, Mrs E E Sh Ch Zendarric It's A Kind Of Magic Within Wroxham. Built on a small frame but so balanced. Deep chest with correct cut up. Good height to length shape a true setter Lovely red and white coat. Also moved well but not the smooth driving action of the winner. Res CC

3rd: 7926 Tait, Mrs J Talintyre Winter Spice

Res: 7909 Barney, Mrs Rachel Sh Ch Romaunt Carry On Regardless With Verrami

1st: 7924 Tait, Mrs J Sh Ch Lovenjoel Sleeping Beauty. Shown in beautiful cost and condition. Correct head shape. Strong neck of good length. Strong bone. Moving well but lacking a little drive today.
