Breed: Dachshund (Wire Haired)

P (2,0) Two litters sisters to be proud of and I see are sired by the same sire as my BOB winner. 1st Lesandnic Laurens (Miss L J Patton). Loved her shape and substance; very balanced overall. Head well-proportioned with wonderful expression with her high set ears and her almond eyes. Massive teeth and strength to underjaw. Forechest well developed with well laid shoulders and straight front. Compact in body with long rib cage and strong loin. Holds her topline well stood and on the move with low set tail to finish the picture. Strong low hocks which she uses to drive and her forequarters allow good reach in front. Coat already well developed and harsh to touch. BPIB. 2nd Lesandnic Love (Miss L J Patton). Not as mature as her sister in body or coat but she has a beautiful head and slightly longer in neck than her sister giving her a better head carriage. She too is compact in body and has a lovely front with elbows tight to her ribs and a straight front. Equally strong in hock and moves away parallel; juts a little exuberant coming towards and flocked a pastern and a little proud off her tail today.

J (3,1) A mixed sex class and slightly different type too.1st Barmaud Fc Betsy Ross (Mrs J M, Miss E V & Dr E North-Row & Martin). Built on finer lines but could still do a days work. Narrower in head with beautiful almond eyes and ears set high. Long neck into well laid shoulders. Lovely straight front, deep chest and ribs well back. Has strength to her top line and carries tail low. Moved soundly albeit a little rushed as not so happy today. A little out of coat. 2nd Dollydash Royal Right (Mrs D & Mr E Wilson). I admired his overall balance and although a larger dog he is well balanced overall. Correct head proportions and strong jaw and big teeth. Dark almond eyes and a real ‘digging front’; well angulated and fabulous feet. Moved soundly away with strength in his hocks. In good coat with harsh texture. Just lost a little in top line on the move. RBD

PG (2,1) 1st Ambiesque Avidity avec Colourbox ((Mrs G. & Mr S. Cove-Print & Print). Liked her size and overall proportions. Body twice as long as height at withers. Has a super neck and carries her beautiful head perfectly. Loved her expression. Well angulated forequarters and obvious forechest. Good turn of stifle and strong low hicks. Moved away and back soundly. Coat well developed for age and a harsh texture with fabulous eyebrows. Loved her confident yet gentle temperament. RBB

OD (1,0) 1st Ir Ch Lesandnic Sovereign (Miss L J Patton). A fabulous temperament and loved the show ring. His tail never stopped wagging and he showed great deportment with head carried proudly, level back and tail carried low. Well-proportioned head strength to his muzzle and super dentition. Eyes nice and dark and of good shape but would like a fraction larger. Compact in body with ribs well back. Very sound away and back and makes a typical outline in profile. Coat harsh but lacking undercoat. BD.

OB (2,0) Two beauties. 1st Ch Sail On Sailor to Full Circle (Miss E V & Dr E North-Row & Martin). A confident bitch with plenty of attitude and ring presence. Loved her size and overall shape. She cannot stand wrong. Compact in body with ribs well back and plenty of heart room. Powers round the ring with super head carriage, a level top line with tail off her back and carried low. Straight front and lovely front feet. Angulated forequarters match her hind quarters and as such she moves with drive and a long stride. So sound away and back and makes a perfect silhouette in side gait. BB & BOB and later Hound Group 4 under Mark Cocozza. 2ndAmbiesque Avidity avec Colourbox ((Mrs G. & Mr S. Cove-Print & Print).
