I would like to thank the officers and committee for inviting me to judge today as Windsor is such a lovely show ideally located with amazing scenery to see from the showground. I would just like to draw attention to the standard for general appearance, elegant aristocratic, smart compact dog with profuse coat.

I would like to thank my very capable stewards Mr & Mrs Collins who kept the ring running smoothly and on time. The venue was set out with in / out ring it was unfortunate that it had rained heavily the morning of the show and as part of the grass area needed reseeding after the horse show we had a large muddy area we needed to avoid. We started judging outside as the rain had held oof but as the sun came out a few exhibits were struggling with the heat so we judged inside from the late male classes.

I love judging this breed as I find the breed and the exhibitors to be so well mannered and pleased with all of their placings.

Class SBD/B (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 1445 KANNAGARA, Miss S M Sangria PS I Love You – A smart black and white baby, he has a lovely head piece, with the correct skull, nice short muzzle, he has a good dark eye with a nice look of astonishment, he has a nice neck, he is a nice size for age he moved well for handler especially as he was rushed into the ring, he has a level topline with correct rear angulation with good tailset and carriage.

Class 586 VD/B (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 1451 PEARCE, Ms Tina Marguerita & HANN, Ms S Ch Rakuchin Kenji Na – A superb specimen of the breed he is in excellent condition and presented to perfection, he is so well balanced with a beautiful head and expression, giving that true Japanese chin astonished look on requires in the breed, he has a broad skull with correct muzzle, open nostrils good cushioning well placed ears with brilliant fringing, he has a good length of neck, good front and correct square compact body, he has lovely rear angulation, he carries his tail high over his back, he has such a lovely coat of correct texture presented to perfection, on the move he is so stylish. Best Veteran – 4th in Veteran group

1st: TONG, Miss Jayne Cranvarl the Red King of Jakconas – This 7 month old Red and white puppy has a beautiful head and expression he has a really nice eye with the white showing to give astonishment one requires, he has the correct muzzle with nice open nostrils he has good earset, he has a good neck into good shoulders, he has a level topline with good rear angulation nice tailset and carriage he moved with style and attitude.

2nd: REEVES-SARGANT, Mesdames Christine & DIMENT, Mrs S Alstella Eadweard – This 7 month old black and white puppy has a typical head and expression with the correct eye with a small amount of white showing in corners he has a good muzzle with open nostrils, he has well placed ears, he has a good neck he has just the right amount of chest for a baby at present he needs a bit more to help his front action, he has a nice level topline good tailset and carriage moved well.

1st: CRANE, Mrs L CRANVARL THE STUDENT PRINCE – A very smart black and white puppy, he is so adorable to look at he has such a cheeky head and expression, he is so lively, he has a beautiful expression with the correct dark eye he has a nice muzzle he has the correct skull with well placed high set ears with nice fringing he has a lovely neck correct chest just needs to body up, he hasvnice front, good topline and tail set and carriage he has good rear angulation, it took him a while to get into his stride especially with the in / out ring set up but he is extremely sound.

1st: ROONEY & GREEN, Mr, Mr & Mrs S,J & A JASCHIN HOLD THAT THOUGHT – Res Dog CC – This 15 month black and white male has a really beautiful head and expression, he has the correct broad skull with a lovely dark eye with white in the corner he has a nice muzzle with good open nostrils he has well placed ears with good fringing he has a lovely neck, he carries a good body for a junior, he is balanced, he has a lovely straight front with nice feet, he has a level topline with the correct tailset and carriage he has lovely rear angulation on the move he is very sound and in profile he is very stylish to watch. He carries a good coat of correct texture.

2nd: YOUNG, Mr C F KIRDANCHI MOVES LIKE JAGGER – This 14 month old black and white has a typical head and expression, he has a good head with a nice muzzle with open nostrils he has a dark eye with nice whites to the corners of his eyes, he has well placed ears wit good fringing, he has a nice body just needs to develop in chest, which will give him that more compact look, he has a straight front with good topline nice tailset and carriage he has nice rear angulation, he moves well when settled his handler needs to make the dog the star of the show.

After this class we came inside to judge as a number in the class were suffering from the heat outside which affected their performance.

1st: FARMER, Mr George William Sangria DE JA Vous – This 4.5 year old black and white male has the most endearing head and expression, he has such a soulful look with the correct skull, with a nice muzzle with good cushioning he has a lovely dark eye, he has nice open nostrils, he has well placed ears just lacking in fringing at the moment, he has a lovely boy and chest he has a good chest with good shoulders he has a good topline with nice rear angulation, he has the correct tailset and carriage , just lacking in finish at this time, on the move he moves with attitude.

2nd: ALLEN, Mrs Sue Sheardream Eric – This 2 year old black and white male, is presented in excellent coat, he has a pleasing head with good skull, he has a lovely muzzle with good cushioning he has a lovely dark eye, he has good ear set with lovely ear fringing he has a lovely body with nice chest good straight front with a nice topline tailset and carriage, he moved well both coming and going.

1st: FARMER, Mr George William Salvador Dali By Sangria – A very smart 2 year old black and white male he has such an appealing head and expression, he has the correct dark eye with whites to the corner of his eyes, he has the correct skull with well placed ears with nice furnishing, he has a good neck with nice shoulders with good front he has a nice topline with good tailset and carriage he has a nice chest and body. He moves with elegance and is very sound.

2nd: FLYNN, Mrs L inda A SHARLARNA EVOLUTION AT LINJATO – This ultra sweet male is 2 years old he is black and white he has a really rounded skull with well placed ears with exceptional fringing he has a nice muzzle with good cushioning he has the correct dark eye with white to the corners giving a true look of astonishment, he has just the right amount of neck with good body for his age he has a lovely straight front, would prefer a bit more depth of chest, he has a lovely tail carriage with lovely long tail fringing, he has a lovely rear angulation, he moves well not holding his topline today.

1st: HAMPTON, Ms L & VINE, Miss E & STRANGE, Mr D Ch SLEEPYHOLLOW LOVE ME SIBBAI – I am so jealous of this 4 year old black and white male, he so deserves the title of champion, he makes me what to own this beautiful breed again, for me he was my star, he caught my eye the instant he walked into the ring, he is so elegant and aristocratic, he demands attention, he is so compact with a profuse coat, watching him move around the ring so elegantly with a free flowing action is a joy to watch, on the table he did not disappoint, he has the correct skull with well placed ears with gorgeous fringing, he has a lovely dark eye with just enough whites to the corner of his eyes to give that true Japanese chin look. He has a lovely muzzle exceptional cushioning, open nostrils, he has a moderate neck which he uses to give that proud attitude on the move, he has a lovely body good chest with neat elbows, good feet, he has a level topline correct tailset and carriage presented to perfection in beautiful condition he moves so well both coming and going. 2nd: FARMER, Mr George William Ch Sangria Moon Walk – A beautiful champion, who has a soulful head with a lovely head he has a good skull, with nicely placed ears with really good fringing he has a lovely dark eye with good muzzle open nostrils nice cushioning, he has a nice neck with good shoulders nice neat front with a level topline correct tailset and carriage with really good furnishing, he is presented in lovely coat of correct type and texture on the move he moves so well both coming and going.

1st: SCHER, Miss Denises Spirited away gilly flower for kopykats – 8 year old black and white bitch, she is on the larger size of the standard a dual purpose bitch, not giving her all today in the show ring, she has a nice dark eye with a good muzzle and open nostrils, she has a good body and chest level topline with correct tailset and carriage, she is a little longer in body she move well, wasn’t put in the ring in her best jacket.

1st: CRANE, Mrs L & TONG, MISS JAYNE CRANVARL THE GYPSY PRINCESS – Best Puppy in Breed, just a baby this red and white bitch certainly has attitude one I could not take my eyes of she has so many endearing qualities. She has such a pretty head and expression with a lovely eye, she has a good muzzle with open nostrils nice skull for age with well placed ears she has a nice neck good shoulders, correct bone nice topline with good tailset and carriage, moved around the ring with style.

2nd: POTTS, Mr R & Mrs J Adreeam Highland Chincess – Red and white bitch who is nice size needs a bit more time as she was overwhelmed a bit by the environment, she a nice eye, she has a nice muzzle with open nostrils ears high set with good fringing for age, she has enough body for age but was a little erratic in front, good topline her tailset and carriage is correct at times she wasn’t standing four square.

Class PB (3 Entries) Abs: 2

1st: LINDLEY, Mrs Susan Elizabeth SHARLARNA CONCHITA FOR MEGLIND she has most glorious and expressive dark eye with good white in the corners of her eyes loved her dark eye rims with the correct muzzle nice open nostrils, she has really nice fringing to her ears, she has a good, correct shoulders needs a bit more depth to her chest to give her front a bit of stability coming towards me, for me she is a bit longer in body than I like, nice rear angulation, not giving her all today, perhaps just needs a bit more confidence

Class JB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 1440 FARMER, Mr George William Sangria Moon Dance (NAF) – I have written down in my notes that this young black and white bitch pushed hard for the green cards today, she is so outgoing, she has a really pretty head with good dark eyes, correct muzzle with good open nostrils, cushioning is there she has a lovely skull with well placed ears, she has a good body for age with nice front and neat feet, she has a lovely topline with good tail set and carriage she is really compact, in really good coat for a junior she has good rear angulation. Moved with style and I have noted that she has a look of distain as if she is better than the rest of us, one I am sure that will go far.

1st: CUSHING, Mrs J Spiritisle Angel Delight – A very smart lemon and white has a haughty expression with the correct eye, good muzzle cushioning and open nostrils she has a wide skull with good fringing, she has a good body with nice front, she is balanced with a nice tailset and carriage she moved with attitude around the ring today.

Class PGB (6 Entries) Abs: 2

1st: CRANE, Mrs L ANJULI MARGO FOR CRANVARL _ an ideal sized bitch with a really pleasing head with a good expression, she has lovely dark eyes with nice white to corner giving a good astonished stare, she has a good muzzle and cushioning with open nostrils, broad skull, nicely used ears with good fringing, she has a good neck correct chest nice neat front good body and correct topline, well placed tail carried correctly she out moved every one in this class today.

2nd: MATCHES, Miss J I'm Melody Goscinska Przystan At Fochai CJW11 – This bitch has to be gone over on the table to appreciate her qualities, she has the correct eye with white to the corner of her eyes giving a nice expression, she has a lovely muzzle with nice cushioning she has a broad head with well positioned ears , she has a lovely chest and body with good front nice and compact with the correct angulation, good tailset and carriage, she moves with gusto around the ring.

3rd: MARTIN, Miss S E Sleepyhollow Cover Girl (taf)

Class LB (5 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: CRANE, Mrs L Cranvarl's Macey Grey JW – I really loved this red and white bitches attitude so is so inquisite, she is put in the ring in exceptional condition, she has a really endearing expression an ideal sized bitch, she has a lovely eye and white to inner corner she has a lovely muzzle with good cushioning open nostrils good broad skull with nicely placed ears with good furnishing she has a lovely neck, good chest and shoulder nice front, good topline tailset and carriage good coat for age she has nice rear angulation she moved with attitude stood four square at times.

2nd: YOUNG, Mr C F CRAIMOSE TOUCH OF CLASS – A very feminine black and white bitch, she has a feminine head with a very pretty expression, she has a nice shaped eye with correct white to inner corner, she has a nice muzzle with open nostrils, for me she is fine throughout and needs to mature in body and chest to enable her to become more balanced, handler needs to watch how she stands, she moves with style around the ring.

3rd: TONG, Miss Jayne & CRANE, Mrs Lynn Cranvarl Maude

1st: ROONEY & GREEN, Mr, Mr & Mrs S,J & A JASCHIN PAWS FOR APPLAUSE In this class I was splitting hairs this black and white bitch beat her kennel mate on her attitude she has that happy lively attitude. She has such an endearing expression with a lovely dark eye with white to the inner corners of her eye, she has a lovely muzzle with good cushioning nice open nostrils correct broad skull with good ears with lovely fringing, she has a lovely neck which on the move gave her that proudness in profile. She has a lovely body and chest she has the correct front nice neat front she has the correct tailset and carriage with a good plume, nice rear angulation. She is lovely condition, she moved round the ring so stylishly she came into a stance and stood four square at all times. It was pleasure to award her the Bitch CC

2nd: ROONEY & GREEN, Mr, Mr & Mrs S,J & A Ch JASCHIN FIRST EDITION – This black and white bitch is so well schooled she shows so well, she is truly at one with her handler never taking her eyes off him, she has such a pretty head with a nice dark eye, she has the correct muzzle with good cushioning nice open nostrils good broad skull , she has a nice neck into lovely shoulders good chest with nice straight front neat feet good topline with nice rear angulation good tailset and carriage she moves so well with attitude.
