Hamiltonstovare

Thanks to my two stewards Doug & Sue Telford, a pleasure to meet you; I very much enjoyed judging this attractive and delightful breed, it’s a pity the numbers of those being shown haven’t gone up more over the past few years.

Junior Dog (1)

1st Graham’s Game Changer for Sufayre upstanding handsome young male with lovely head, good stop, good width in front, strong bone, nice rectangular shape proportionally, good depth to body, angled quarters but loose on the hocks at this stage, has good profile movement, sometimes over enthusiastic but deserved Best Junior.

Limit Dog (1)

1st Adey’s Abon Sfora Nordowskiej Knieji at Rubeusbay (Imp Pol) richly coloured male, liked his expression & head shape, would prefer just a tiny tad more length of muzzle, lovely neck of strength, strong front super depth & brisket, tight feet, complementing rear angles, good tail set, moved out well and was a close contender for the top spot but didn’t quite match the overall shape and movement of the Open Dog on the day. Res. Best Dog.

Open Dog (1)

1st Briant & Ellwood’s Sufayre Larsson impressive and upstanding male who had a masculine well-shaped head, good stop & good ear set, strong neck of length to excellent front, strong back with good ribbing, strong in his topline, strong quarters and moved soundly here with the handler getting the very best from him when it mattered, Best Dog and BOB.

Veteran (2) 1 abs

1st Armstrong, Briant & Briant’s Avi Hamilton Star with Sufayre (Imp Pol) 8 years old strong looking dog well off for bone, body could be a lot tighter all through, very strong front, good feet, depth okay, quarters angled enough but needs more toning to strengthen them up, moved out well enough here albeit slightly untidy on the rear.

Good Citizen Dog Scheme (1)

1st Adey’s Abon Sfora Nordowskiej Knieji at Rubeusbay (Imp Pol) (Miss Z Adey) – critique as Limit

Puppy Bitch (5)

At last a class you could make good comparisons with.

1st Briant’s Star Catcher from Sufayre so smart and had the edge in overall body proportion has a pleasing head, good ear set, lovely length of neck, well set shoulder, good strong front, tight feet, lovely depth of brisket, strength of topline with that slight inclination, muscled and toned, strong loin, angled quarters and tail set good, had bags of enthusiasm on the move and covered good ground. Best Bitch

2nd Adey’s The Huntress from Sufayre, close up to 1 and is of very pleasing type & overall shape, nice strength through her body, needs to maintain topline, good depth of brisket, good front, reasonable angle to quarters, covered the ground well but very slightly unsettled in action, lovely rich depth of colour.

3rd Ellwood & Reiully’s Wish Maker for Sufayre

Junior Bitch (1)

1st Adey’s The Huntress from Sufayre – critique as Puppy

Open Bitch (1)

1st Graham & Briant’s Sufayre Lizzie (ai) Dam of the puppy winners and you can see her qualities in them; she is nicely proportioned, attractive rectangular head shape, good stop & good eye, nicely boned throughout, loved her length of neck, shoulder line and front, good depth & topline, well angled quarters, tail held out level on the move, has a style about her but had to give way to her daughter today, Res. Best Bitch.
