Congratulations to the SKC team for putting on such a good show. The lack of benching on toy day seemed to create more space, and the larger than normal rings were appreciated. Its always a pleasure to be at the SKC, having made my first Champion up at the SKC Centenary show, and having awarded my first CCs at SKC I have many wonderful memories. Delighted to judge the Toy Group, and I thought those shortlisted were evenly matched.

The young Affenpinscher I judged 2 weeks earlier and is very typical carrying a harsh coat, the ETT has a beautiful head, eyes and ears and correct in topline, Maltese is so well made woth compact body and level topline, Pom is the right shape, suer coat and correct tail.

On the day my winner was STRACEY, Miss R - Ch Galkerah's Antonia to Krieger JW - MINIATURE PINSCHER – Bitch. Her outline is textbook. She has a super head with really good ears. Holds her topline on the move and never stopped showing. Correct coat texture and in gleaming condition.

RESERVE : MAULT, Mrs L A - Ch LIMARTINE MR.BLUE - BICHON FRISÉ – Dog

Gave him a CC last year and thought he has come on since then. Such a sound moving d. Good neck and topline with a well set and carried tail. Super coat and pigment.

3rd : RYAN, Mrs K F & RYAN, Mr E L & ROOSENS, Miss K - Ch U Knock Me Off My Feet Daydream Believers with - PAPILLON – Dog. Another I have given a CC to, as a baby, so interesting to judge him in maturity. He is such a well made dog. Super eye and expression. Level topline at all times. Correct coat

4th : LINDSAY, Miss L - Ch Anjuli Trevor - JAPANESE CHIN – Dog. He has a great body, good width and cobby. Lovely head with correct expression. Ideal proportions. Think he would look even better with less coat.
