I found quite a variety of types here, some rather longer than others. Heads did vary. Very few had typical tails and action. Plenty of quality and delighted to see BOB winner top the Gundog group and special beginner win that group – well done both.

1st: 918 WATKINS, Ms Tereza Lakewinds Benchmark (Imp) Aus

Shapely d who has a slightly better balanced head than 2. Well set ears. Good eye and expression. Enough neck with a well laid shoulder. Needs to settle in front action. Chest almost to elbow. Well ribbed back. V good topline. Well made rear and v accurate going away. Tail ok.

2nd: 902 NORBURY, Mrs Victoria Heartbury Matador

Liked his outline and proportions. Needs to firm in pastern and can still develop in chest. Well ribbed back. Correct length loin. Wel made rear with low hocks. Better tail than 1.

1st: 882 HILL, Miss V & HILL, Mrs A & HILL, Miss L Kanix Sourdough with Calaquendi

Liked his outline and proportions, could have a slightly better head, ears are rather long and stop a bit deep. Lengthy neck into good shoulders. Chest to elbow. Well ribbed back. Correct hind angulation. Uses his tail v well. Decent mover.

2nd: 878 DUNCAN, Mrs Veronica / Gotwick Manor Bucket

In really super muscle and thought him a v typical dog. Well balanced head. Long neck. Well balanced in his angulation. Can settle moving but a promising pup.

Free moving d with a v good outline. Masc head, slightly heavy in skull. Long neck. His angulation is v well balanced. Deep chest. Well ribbed back to a short loin. Lots of curves. Good tail, carried just a bit too high.

Both quite different and not much between them.

1st: 900 MENNEN, Miss Gloria & SWEENEY, Mr Neil Joneva Just Imagine JW

Rather a tall d and slightly narrow in front as yet. Preferred his head with a much better eye and expression than 2. Long neck. Quite moderate in his angulation. Correct topline. Slight slope to his pastern. Accurate on the move.

2nd: 916 STILGOE, Mr and Mrs P and D Glenariff Mojito over Teisgol

Better outline moving than stood. Long neck. Decent shoulders. Just a bit upright in pastern. Well ribbed. Plenty of hind angulation. Free mover.

1st: 874 COLLINS, Mr Derek Thomas & COLLINS, Mrs Jackie Collholme Balthasar

Very typical in outline and v well made. Much more settled when moving alone, but still a bit playful in front. Has a v good head. Lengthy neck. Liked his proportions super tail.

2nd: 911 GREENWOOD, Mrs Susan & GREENWOOD, Mr John Harvestslade Orlov

Better shape moving than standing. Liked his head and has a lovely expression. Enough neck. Could be firmer in elbow. Deep chest. Curvy outline. Well bent stifle with low hocks.

1st: 913 PREECE, Mrs Diana & GILDING, Mr Nicholas Harvestslade Light Of Peace

Liked his outline and proportions, nothing overdone and a series of curved. Accurate enough in front, v good hind action and v good profile, using his excellent tail v well. Liked his head with a v good eye and expression. Enough neck. Well laid shoulder and well filled front. Ribs go well back and correct loin. Correct hind angulation with low hocks. Didn’t give his best in challenge and had to settle for RCC

2nd: 923 WILCOX, Mrs K D Pipeaway Dreams Afyre In Merynjen JW

Liked his proportions, could be better in hind angulation, slightly too much and stood slopes in toplIne more than ideal. He has a better filled front and better head than 3. Long neck. V good front angulation. Deep chest. Well ribbed. V typical mover.

Not much between 1 and 2, he was just a bit better in front. Liked his outline and proportions. Quite a good head, could be cleaner in throat. Lengthy neck. Well laid shoulder with along and sloping upper arm. Chest to elbow. Well ribbed back. Correct hind angulation. Super profile action where he has a long and easy stride. CC

2nd: 907 OLIVER, Miss Meg & STILGOE, Mr and Mrs P and D Teisgol Love Is In The Air

Liked his outline and proportions. He is slightly better in head than 1. Long neck. Fairly well laid shoulder, just tend to turn front feet in slightly. Deep chest. V curvy. Moderate rear, not quite as smooth as 1 moving.

Liked her proportions and she was the best mover in this class today. Fem head, just a little bit lippy. Lengthy neck she is v well balanced in her angulation. Firm topline. Good tail. BV

2nd: 891 LOWE, Mrs Anne Lowsmoor Shiralee JW

In the most super hard condition. She has a v good head, flat skull, not too much stop and a slight dish. Enough neck. Deep chest. Well made front. V good topline. Not as accurate as 1 on move.

3rd: 870 BROOKSMITH, Miss Amanda Nightgold Blackavar VW

1st: 889 LEWIS, Mrs C Riowood Blackberry At Fallowfield

V raw pup who could use her tail more as she gains experience. Would like a longer muzzle. She has a lengthy neck. Well laid shoulder. Deep enough in chest for her age. Plenty of hind angulation. just needs to come together.

Close up and she is v shapely with plenty of gentle curves. Fem head. Slightly short in muzzle. Lengthy neck. Not quite front of 1. Deep chest. V good rear she too is a v easy mover.

She is v well bodied, deep chest. Slightly long and a bit too much hind angulation. Flat skull. Could be longer in muzzle. V good neck.

Liked her for shape and type v much, also having curvy lines. V definite dish to her head. Flat skull. Lengthy neck. Deeper in chest than 1. Could be tidier coming towards. Moderate rear. V good tail with correct action.

V typy b who is an accurate mover with a lengthy stride. Well proportioned head. Slight dish. Could have more neck. Well laid shoulder. Liked her depth and fill of chest with well placed elbows. Well ribbed, correct topline. Good rear. Excellent tail which she uses v well.

2nd: 920 WELCH, Mrs S & DRAKE, Mrs Janet & HAZELTINE, Miss Clamerkin Jubilee Surprise at Hookwood

She is a slightly longer b who moved better than 3. V good head, liked the balance of muzzle to skull with a slight dish. More neck than 1. Moderate in angulation and elbows could be set slightly further back. Firm topline. Low hocks. Easy stride.

Really liked her outline, could be slightly tidier out and back. Pleasing in head with a slight dish. Lengthy neck. Deep chest. Could be better in pastern and feet. Moderate rear. V good tail. Mover in an easy way.
