Very enjoyable day judging this most handsome of breeds. My main concern was a general lack of muscle tone, Im sure many would move better if were in harder muscle.
S Beginners D (2)
1st: 7960 CORLESS, Mrs S S Swiftlark Invincible JW
Much older and therefore more mature d than 2. He has a long and masc head. Kind eye. Enough neck. Somewhat forward in shoulder. He is well ribbed back. Moderate hind angulation. Fairly accurate on the move.
2nd: 8023 SHEPHERD, Mrs S CASACHARED CONNORS DELANEY
V much a baby. He has a super head. Ok neck. Quite a good front but lifts his feet high at the moment. Correct topline. Deep chest. Moderate rear. Can firm up going away,

Promising pup of just 6 months. Obviously a little loose on the move but has a lengthy and easy stride. He has a well proportioned head. Long neck. Well laid shoulder, just a bit steep in upper arm. Well ribbed back. Firm in topline. Moderate rear. BP

Lots to like about this d. He is v typy. Just not as good moving as 1. He has a lovely head. Enough neck. Deep chest. Topline could have a little more slope. Moderate rear.

He looks so v good moving around the ring. Rather deep in stop. Enough neck. Shoulders are well laid, just a little steep in upper arm. Deep chest. Well ribbed. Firm topline. Well bent stifle with low hocks. Quite good out and back.

Liked his shape. Lengthy head. Ok neck. Would like more front angulation and better feet. Deep chest. Correct topline. Well bent stifles. Really like the outline on this d standing, runs away with handler on move and looses his shape.

Lots to admire about him. He had a long head with correct width of skull. Decent front. Deep chest. Rather steep in croup. Well bent stifle. Needs to strengthen up in rear.

Liked the outline stood of this d, correct proportions and a good topline. Masc head of quality. Lengthy neck. V good front. Deep chest. Well ribbed. Firmer in topline than 2. Rather too much second thigh and would like better hind action.

Just found him slightly long. He has a well balanced head. Lengthy neck. Slightly forward in front. . Moderate rear.

Shapely d who looks v good moving round, wouldn’t want any more length. Has a v good head, could have less skin on throat. Medium neck well laid shoulder. Deep chest. Well ribbed. Could be slightly firmer in topline. Well bent stifle with low hocks. Just needs to mature up.

Liked his shape and proportions stood, hind action just lets him down. Liked his head. Medium neck. Quite a good front. Fairly deep in chest. Super topline. Carried his tail well.

Both have good muscle tone, which has been rare so far.

Liked his outline and proportions standing.long head, in v good balance. Kind eye and expression. Enough neck. Could have better lay of shoulder and more slope to upper arm. Fairly deep chest. Hard and sloping topline. Liked his rear. Rather high stepping in front on the first circuit but was better individually.

He is a v good profile mover. Quite a good head. Lengthy neck. Just rather too wide in the front. Ok shoulder. Deep chest firm topline. Moderate rear.

He is a very sound d who is accurate out and back with a decent length of stride. Not the best head, a little broader in skull and deeper in stop than ideal. Medium neck. He could have a better shoulder. Deep chest. Well ribbed back to a firm topline. Enough hind angulation.

Presents a v good outline and so v well presented carrying right amount of coat. He has a lovely head. Enough neck. He too could have a better shoulder. Deep chest, lots of hind angulation, just a bit untidy out and back.
