I thought this was a good entry with a sporting ringside, hope you enjoyed the party. Some of the heads were rather too broad and a few had most unappealing expressions. I was very happy with both line ups.

S Beginners D (1)

1st: 5126 MURPHY, Mrs Vannessa & MURPHY, Mr Mark Davricard Picasso at Rhosyndu

Masc and houndy d. Slightly broad in his skull, lovely eye and expression. Lengthy neck. Quite a good front. Chest to elbow. Well sprung ribs. He could be shorter in loin. Moderate rear. Slightly loose in front but uses his rear v well.

Minor puppy d (4)

1st: 5085 CRAIG, Mr D R Davricard Gaultier

Very good moving pup, would like him a little more compact. He has a really super head. Long neck. Good front with slope to pastern. Deep chest. Well sprung ribs. Holds a firm topline. Well bent stifle and low hocks. Has quality.

2nd: 5101 HARDISTY, Ms S Blunderhall Jacks The Lad

Liked his outline. Masc head of correct balance, lovely eye and expression. Enough neck. Decent front. Just picks his front feet up slightly high. Compact body. Moderate rear.

3rd: 5108 JACKLIN, Mrs P Triecap Emperor Alvin

1st: 5129 PARKER, Miss S & STEVENS, Mr G Serenaker Saltydog

Baby of the class but v well made and once settled moved v well. Liked his head. Appealing expression. Long neck. Decent front, just rather upright in pastern. Deep chest. Well ribbed back. Level topline. Super rear.

2nd: 5106 HAVARD, Miss & Mrs L A & P J Annavah Nickleby

Another quality pup. He has a v good head, super eye and expression. Long beck. Whilst i liked his slightl slope to pastern not quite the front of 1. Chest to elbow. Well ribbed. Well bent stifle with low hocks.

3rd: 5136 PHILPOTT, Mrs J L Charterwood Chancellor

Junior d (3,1)

1st: 5110 JAYES, Mrs E Rossut Zavier at Sandylands

V sound and houndy pup, could be more compact and carry a little less weight. He has a super head with lovely eye and expression. Enough neck. Well filled front. Good legs and feet. Deep chest. Could have a shorter loin and firmer topline. Super rear, which he uses v well.

2nd: 5074 BRIDGEMAN, Ms D & LOGUE, Mr H Kingswin Bug 'A' Lugs

He is slightly heavier in head than 1. Medium neck. He is rather upright in pastern. Well sprung ribs. He is also longer in loin than ideal. Moderate rear, but balanced.

Yearling d (2)

1st: 5066 BEARD, Mr John KELLITCREED SWEENEY TOD

Quality hound in super muscle. Accurate on the move and goes with a v easy stride. Liked his masc head, not at all coarse with super eye and expression. Could have a fraction more neck. V good legs and feet. Chest to elbow. He is well ribbed back and short enough in loin. V good rear. Holds his outline well going round. Everything fits together giving a super outline. CC

2nd: 5072 BINKS, Mrs L Tannahill Vagabond

Very happy hound, took a while to settle moving. Head is ok, darker eyes would improve his expression. Medium neck. Not as good in front as 1. He has well sprung ribs. Longer in loin than ideal, liked his rear.

Novice d (3)

1st: 5120 LEWIS, Mrs C FALLOWFIELD CHANNING

Best mover and the best head in this class. Lengthy neck. Front assembly is slightly upright. Chest to elbow. Could be more compact and firmer in topline. Well bent stifle with low hocks.

2nd: 5133 PETERSON, Mrs N Jane Trooopersway Prince George

He has a better head than 3. Medium neck. Could also be more compact. Angulation is balanced and moderate. He goes with an even stride.

3rd: 5151 TIMMINS, Miss Holly-Mae Timollymae Ace

I found him slightly heavy. Easy mover using his rear better than 2 here. Head is well proportioned. Medium length of neck. Well filled in front. Well sprung ribs. Slightly long in loin. Liked his rear.

Liked his head the best in this class. Appealing eye and expression. He has a lengthy neck. V upright in pastern. Deep chest. Well ribbed back to a fairly short loin. Moderate rear matching his from.

2nd: 5159 WOODCOCK, Mr Jim & WOODCOCK, Mrs Julie Molesend Verdict at Roddwood

Compact hound. Found him a little heavy in head with a wide stop. Medium neck. Decent front. Topline is ok. Not as compact as 1. Quite a good rear.

3rd: 5140 SIMKIN, Mr & Mrs D & K Simeldaka Senglea Squire

1st: 5128 PARKER, Miss S & STEVENS, Mr G Ch Serenaker Armani

Beautifully presented d who won this class comfortably. Masc head. Lengthy neck with a well laid shoulder. Would like a little more length of upper arm. Chest to his elbow. Well sprung ribs that go back to a short loin. Level in topline. Well bent stifle with low hocks. Could be firmer in front, uses his rear well and goes with a fair stride holding topline. RCC

2nd: 5139 SIMKIN, Mr & Mrs D & K Eardley Will Power at Simeldaka

Rather a longer d. Masc i. Head with good ears. Enough neck. Could have a better shoulder. Level topline. Moderate rear.

3rd: 5134 PHILPOTT, Mrs J L Charterwood Storm

8 years and in the most super muscle. Slightly broad in skull. Long neck into well laid shoulder. Could be more compact. Moderate rear. Went with an even stride.

Free moving and fem b. Well proportioned head. Lengthy neck. She has a good front with well laid shoulder. Chest to elbow. Could be a fraction more compact. Topline better than it looks with markings. Well made rear. Best SB. Well done on G3

2nd: 5124 MEAD, Mrs R & MEAD, Mr D Stormpasture Strumpette For Rosroden

Fem b. Liked her eye and expression. Rather wide in the front at this stage. Medium length of neck. Level topline. Has a well made rear.

Nice to see so many minor pups out.

Fem b who went v well. She could be slightly shorter in loin. Well balanced head with dark eyes. Lengthy neck. Well laid shoulder. Chest to her elbow. Holds a firm topline. Well bent stifle and low hocks.

2nd: 5091 EVANS, Mr Gareth & BARNES, Miss Laura Bellvalley Queen of Hearts

Fem b of v good proportions. Could have a little more width to her muzzle. Enough neck. Stands on good legs and feet. Chest to elbow. Firm topline. Liked her rear.

Puppy b (7,2)

1st: 5084 CRAIG, Mr D R Annavah Belinda of Davricard

Really liked her proportions. She has a lovely head, fem, balanced and super eye and expression. Long and crested neck. Well laid shoulder. Well filled front. Correct length rib and loin. Giving a firm topline. Enough turn of stifle. Accurate on the move with a decent stride. BP & PG4. I see she is full sister to the BOB, certainly a similar stamp.

2nd: 5107 HAVARD, Miss & Mrs L A & P J Dufosee Julianna Avec Annavah

Quality pup, could just come up on the leg slightly. She has a fem head. Lovely eye and expression. Long enough in beck. Not front of 1 but slightly better in rear. Holds topline well good mover.

Liked her size and proportions. Could have darker eyes. Medium neck. Her angulations are moderate and balanced. Level topline. Could be tidier in out and back movement.

This was a v good class.

Very houndy and an easy mover. Slightly better in head than 2. She has a long neck into a good shoulder. Deep chest. Well ribbed. Correct proportions. Holds a level topline. Moderate hind angulation and uses her rear v well.

2nd: 5145 STUART, Mrs Sophia Kellitcreed danger digits

Liked her size and she has a v good profile gait. Not the head and expression of 1, and more compact than 3. Lengthy neck. Could have a little more width in front. Well ribbed back. Firm topline. Well bent stifle with low hocks.

3rd: 5065 BEARD, Mr John KELLITCREED COTTON CANDY

Liked her proportions and she was an accurate mover with a lengthy stride. Correct proportions. She has a fem head with v good eye and expression. Lengthy neck. Decent front, but could have a little more fill. Holds a level topline. V good rear.

Not the kindly expressive eyes of 1. Liked her head. Enough neck. Quite a good front. Well filled chest. Level topline, wouldn’t want her any longer. Well bent stifle and low hocks. She moved with an easy stride.

Liked her head. She moved round with a v open side gait. Lengthy neck. Not the shoulder or upper arm of 1. Best to elbow. Well ribbed back. Level topline. Super rear. Drives so well from her rear.
