Been a little while since I last judged this lovely breed. My starting point is looking for the correct outline and balance. I found some had untypical silhouettes, too much forechest, sloping topline, short on leg – not all in the same dogs. Some could have been stringer in temperament. Thought the best were on really high quality and interesting to see the BOB is siring some really lovely youngsters.

Minor Puppy D (3)

1st: 2899 CAIRNS, Miss LORRAINE P LAMARG SILVER HUNTSMAN

Clear winner of this class. Liked his proportions. Well balanced head, although has much loose skin on throat. Strong neck. Well laid shoulder with a sloping upper arm. Can deepen in chest. Well ribbed back to a firm loin. Correct topline. Strong rear. Moved well with power.

2nd: 2922 RINTOUL, Mrs Jane & RINTOUL, Mr Andrew Silberstern First Edition

Better proportions than 3 and sounder. Head is ok. Looks v raw at the moment, which is a good think in a mp. Long neck. Angulation quite well balanced.

3rd: 2920 RAYNER, Mrs C & MASKELL, Mrs S Enjager Access To Raystans

1st: 2902 HENDERSON, Dr Nicola JS Sabsky Brno at Nikostratus

Well muscled d of correct proportions. Lengthy head, doesn’t want to get any heavier in cheek. Lengthy neck. Quite a good front. Can strengthen in pastern. Chest almost to his elbow. Firm topline. Correct hind angulation. Goes with an even stride. BP

Liked his outline and proportions. Clean head, slight stop. Well placed eyes. Medium length neck. He .could have a slightly better laid shoulder. Well filled chest, to his elbow. Well ribbed back to a short loin.l Level and firm in topline. Enough hind angulation. Accurate mover with powerful stride. RCC

2nd: 2935 WISZNIEWSKA, Mrs K BRAVEHEART Duma Kazana

He is longer than 1.. Quite a good head. Lengthy neck. Front is ok, doesn’t need any more forechest. Chest to elbow. Long in loin. Lots of hind angulation and his topline slopes. Moves with purpose.

1st: 2933 WHITE, Miss SANDRA & SCOUGALL, Mr P. R Greyspirit Wait's Over at Silverkelvin

He has a slightly better front and stride than 2, who it turns out is his brother. Needs to carry some more weight. Liked his head. Well set ears. Enough neck. Well laid shoulder with a sloping upper arm. Well ribbed back. Level topline. Slope to his croup. Correct turn of stifle. Accurate on the move with an easy stride.

2nd: 2905 JAMIESON, Mrs Marian & JAMIESON, Mr Gordon Greyspirit Kept Me Waiting

Liked his head. Enough neck. Ok shoulder. Less return of upper arm than 1. Well bodied. Firm in his topline. Maybe could have a little more width of second thighs. Accurate mover. V close up.

Moderate rear angulation. Accurate out and back and covers a lot of ground in profile. Quality stallion of a dog. CC & BOB and G3

2nd: 2919 PAVEY, Mr J EVANS & Mr P Sh Ch Gunalt Undeniable At Joneva

Similar for proportions. He has a v good head. Lengthy neck of strength. Well laid shoulder. Not quite the front of 1. Deep chest. Plenty of forechest. Well ribbed. Firm in topline. Strong rear. He too is in really hard condition.

V much a baby but shows lots of promise. Fem in head, with slight stop. Enough neck. She has a fair front. Deep chest. Well ribbed back. Firm in her topline. Well made rear. Just need to come together with maturity.

V well made pup who when she stopped pacing moved v well, accurate with a powerful and easy stride. Well balanced and clean fem head. Medium length of neck. Well laid shoulder with a long and sloping upper arm. Chest to elbow. Well ribbed to a firm loin. Liked her hind angulation.

Smaller and finer type of b, who is quite well balanced. She has a fem head. V slightly stop,Enough neck. Slightly overdone in forechest. Chest to elbow. Level topline. Well made rear. Fairly accurate on the move..

Liked her proportions and balance and she moves with a v free and easy stride. Fem head. Medium neck. She has a better front than 2. Chest to elbow. Well ribbed back. Topline is ok. Strong rear with low hocks.

2nd: 2897 CAIN, Mrs S J & CAIN, Mr S A Schonhund Show Mia Star At Lustamusk

Fem and slightly more angulation than 1. She has a pleasing head. Moderate neck. Could have a better laid shoulder and more slope to upper arm. Well ribbed. Flat croup. Well bent stifle with low hocks. When she stopped pacing moved quite well.

1st: 2925 ROBSON, Mr & Mrs D & K Kalimor Nancy At Robricci JW

Well made young b who moves with a very easy and powerful stride. Fem head, a little too deep in flew. Crested neck. Well laid shoulder with a good return of upper arm. Correct forechest and depth. Well sprung ribs that go well back. Firm in topline, slope to croup. Correct rear. Good honest sort of b.

2nd: 2898 CAIRNS, Miss LORRAINE P LAMARG SILVER SHOWTOFF

Liked her proportions, not as together on the move as 1. Lengthy and fem in head. Medium neck. Chest to elbow. Good sternum. Well ribbed. V good rea with .low hocks. Just needs to come together more on the move.

Comfortable winner of this class. V good young b. Good mover and so v well made. I liked her head. Slight stop. Enough neck. Well laid shoulder. Chest to elbow. Well ribbed. Could have a fraction more slope to her croup. Well bent stifle and low hocks. Just needs a little more finish. But took CC with a bit to spare today/

2nd: 2907 HALLIDAY, Mrs A & HALLIDAY, Mr D Greyspirit Ororo T'Challa

Quite good for proportions and moves with an easy stride, would like a stronger muzzle. She has a medium length crested neck. Quite a good front. Could be firmer in feet and pasterns. Grand body. Level and firm in topline. Moderate rear. A v obvious tail fault.

Not an easy class to sort.

1st: 2903 HUNTER, miss Julie Quiksilvr Adrenaline Rush at Reefcrest (IMP USA)

This b is a v good mover with an easy and powerful stride. Quite like her head. Enough neck. Well laid shoulder. She could be slightly longer in body and have a better underline. Holds a firm topline. Slight slope to croup, ok rear.

2nd: 2916 NUGENT, Mr C Ir Sh Ch Callanbanks Dervlas Dream (An Ch 22,Cen C

She is just a little long. Fem head. Could be stronger in muzzle and a little heavy in ear. Lengthy neck. Front is ok. Deep chest. Well ribbed. Slightly flat in croup and a lot of hind angulation. Quite an easy mover.

Really good b, who has v good proportions and moves so v well. Could be slightly cleaner in cheek. Lengthy neck with a well laid shoulders could be slightly firmer in pastern and feet now. Chest almost to elbow. Well ribbed back. V good rear. RCC & VG2

Another that i liked v much. 1 has a better head. She has a lengthy neck. Quite a good front with a well filled chest. Well sprUng ribs going back to a firm loin. Level topline with slope to croup. Plenty of hind angulation. Easy profile stride.
