WKC. West Highland White Terrier
Sad that entries in this lovely breed has dropped in popularity. I used to borrow a Westie for junior handling 50 years ago. Presentation was quite mixed. Well done to those placed in the various groups, shows there is quality in the breed.

1st: 4549 BERRY, Mrs K Ch Karamynd Star Player With Ashgate
Mature masc d. V good outline. He has a super head, good strength of muzzle. Plenty of skull. Neat well set ears. Strong neck. Shoulders are set rather wide apart. V good body. Level topline. Moderate hind angulation. He is accurate out and back with a lengthy, easy stride. RCC, BV and V Group 2 – well done

1st: 4570 PROTHEROE, Mrs V & JOHNSON, Mrs W Crocodile rock
Rather long in back and not in his best coat. Head is long and narrow. Dark eyes. Well set ears. Medium neck. His rear angulation is quite good and balanced withn his front. Little out at elbow coming towards but uses rear well.

Mature male of quite good proportions. Could have a harsher jacket. Liked his head. Good width of skull and muzzle. Medium neck. Moderate lay of shoulder. Well ribbed. Topline could be firmer. Enough bend of stifle and low hocks. Accurate mover.

V good outline. Liked his head. Good width of skull, quite a good stop and a strong muzzle and jaw. Dark eye and neat ears, lengthy neck. Better shoulder than 2. Deep chest. Ribs go well back to a short loin. Well set tail low hocks. V accurate on the move. In good coat.
2nd: 4573 THOMSON, Mrs SUE Ashgate Kelvin
Liked his outline. Well proportioned head, not quite as good as 1. He has a lengthy neck. Well sprung ribs. Firm topline. Tail is ok. Rear matches his front and an even stride.

Free moving d, who could be slightly shorter in back. Has a v good head, strong muzzle, good size skull. Lengthy neck. He has a better front than 2. Deep chest. Well ribbed back to a short loin. Could have a little more behind tail. Well bent stifle with low hocks. Super coat. CC
2nd: 4559 DALE, Miss M Phoenix Superbia Lynnsto CJW11
Liked his shape. Not quite the head of 1, but decent size skull and a strong muzzle. Would like better texture to his top knot. Could have more neck. Shorter backed than 1, but not his front. Well bent stifle with a low hock. Accurate on move.

Really delightful pup of 6mths, shows great promise. Liked her outline. She is feminine, but with strength of skull and muzzle. Lengthy neck. Good front. Short and level back. Enough hind angulation. V good mover and already shows so v well. Still in puppy coat. BP and winner puppy group – well done.
2nd: 4556 CHAMBERS, Mrs Pam Circinus Dreaming All Day
She didn’t help handler much on the move. Fem in head, could be wider in skull. Lengthy neck. Straight front. Slightly long in back. Well set tail. Enough hind angulation. Accurate on move. Still in puppy coat.

Shorter in back than 2 and she has a better head, fem with width. Medium neck. Ok front, can turn her feet out. Topline. Can firm. V moderate in rear. Well set and carried tail. Accurate on the move. Coat coming.

She is rather long. Little bit narrow on skull. Medium neck. Deep chest. Balanced in angulation. Can firm in topline.

Sound moving b when she settled to the job in hard. Slightly long in muzzle and could have more width of skull. Medium neck. Fairly straight front. Deep chest. Topline is ok.. Needs more hind angulation. Coat is rather soft.

She is slightly longer in back than 2, but has better angulation front and rear. Fem head of v good strength. Enough neck. Deep chest. Could be firmer in topline. Well set tail. A bit wide coming towards but v good going away.
2nd: 4557 CHAMBERS, Mrs Pam Circinus Dare To Dream
Liked her proportions but not the angulation of 1. She is fem in head, with just enough width of skull. Medium neck. Level topline. Tail ok. Also a bit wide coming towards but ok in rear.

Liked her outline and proportions and she is all of a piece. Fem head with strength of muzzle and good skull. Lengthy neck. Quite a good shoulder. Deep chest. Short in back with a level topline. Moderate rear, which she uses well. Could just have better front action.
2nd: 4548 BACON, Miss Chris Cabon Sea Coral
She is in lovely hard condition. Fem head with enough strength. Lengthy neck. Slightly forward in shoulder. Could be firmer in topline. Well set tail. Rather moderate in rear.

1st: 4552 BURNS, Miss M Ch Burneze All in One
Fem b of strength and she shows and moves so v well. In super jacket, and all white. Really liked her head, width and strength. Dark eyes. Neat ears. Enough neck. Shoulder could be slightly better. She can stand wide in front but correct on the move. Deep chest. Well sprung ribs. Firmest of topines with super tail set. Best rear in the entry. Super mover. CC & BOB , well done on G2
2nd: 4565 GRIFFITHS, Mrs J Ch Holiday Romance Vixen at Karamynd (Imp Pol)
Preferred her shortness of back to 3. She also has a v good head. Fem with strength. Lengthy neck. She cou,d have a better shoulder and can turn her feet out standing. Deep chest. Well ribbed back. To a short loin. Topline could be better. She has a b good rear and a better tail than 3. Accurate on the move with a balanced stride. RCC
