Birmingham National

Canaan Dogs

Sad that after so many years in the UK the breed is currently so low in numbers. Temperament is an, including amongst owners, hardly likely to encourage people to show this breed. My stewards were shocked at the behavior of a disgruntled handler. The UK standard calls for them to be confident, the Israeli standard says they are amenable to training. Sand comes in many shades, there are no disqualifications in the UK standard only undesirable colours.

Limit D

1st: 2213 MINTO, Mrs ELLEN Anacan We Got the Power

Sound moving d of good proportions. Could carry a bit more weight. Masc head. Could have a little more chest. Well set and carried tail. Nice deep feet. Would like a firmer topline.

In really hard condition. Liked his proportions. Correct head. Enough neck. Front construction is ok, although lifts his feet higher than ideal. Ribs go well back. Firm in topline. Well made rear with low hocks, used v well. BOB

Veteran d

1st: 2214 MOULDING, Mr Martin Anacan Abu ghosh

In great form for his 10 years. Correct proportions. Masc head. Medium neck. More angulation at front than rear. Well ribbed back. Just a little slack in feet and pasterns now. RBD

Puppy b

1st: 2212 MINTO, Mrs ELLEN Anacan Rock My World

She has good proportions. Just looked like she didn’t want to be here both stood and moving, needs more confidence. Fem in head. Lengthy neck. Could be firmer in topline. Rear is ok. Picks up in front moving. RBB

Open b

1st: 2215 MOULDING, Mr Martin Torefjell's rubin

Fem b who could be stronger in temperament, lack confidence. I liked her head, correct proportions. Moderate in angulation. Could be tidier in up and back movement. V good feet. BB
