I was a replacement judge for Vanessa Cox, who I know we all will wish well. A very good entry and I thought there was very good depth of quality, in my opinion the breed is in a good state. Coats were either dropped or being dropped in many and I didn’t pay much attention to this. I thought eyes and expressions were much better than previously. Still a slight variation in type, some too long and some heavy and dumpy. Overall plenty of v good Shibas.

1st: 3643 MAY, Miss G C Doriken Royal Apprentice

Beautifully conditioned 11 year old. He has a super head. Lovely eyes, ears and expression. Correct medium length and thick neck. Fairly well filled in front. Accurate mover, could just have a better stride now. BV. Grand dog to start the day.

Class showing lots of promise.

1st: 3642 MAY, Miss Dianne Michelle KANTARO GO SAPPORO KAGASOU AT AYUPDUCK

Liked his proportions. Used his rear a bit better than 2. He has a v good head, super expression. Small, hooded eras. Thick medium neck. Would like more fill in front but can develop. Firm in topline. Well made rear. Well ribbed. Level topline. V good tail. Accurate on the move, Fairly light and easy stride. So very typical. RCC

2nd: 3613 ANDREW, Ms Karoline Vormund Can't Wait To Be King Claran NAF TAF

Good eye and expression. Ears just a bit low set. Well filled front. Good shoulder and upper arm. Level topline. Super rear. Doesn’t need to get heavier. Accurate on move.

3rd: 3636 JOBSON, ms Nicola & MAY, Ms G C Doriken royal keeper

1st: 3629 DUNHILL-HALL, Miss Michaella VORMUND SATORU GOJO

V promising pup. He is slightly longer than tall. Super head, lovely eye and expression. Well balanced muzzle and skull. Correct neck. Well laid shoulder. Fairly well filled front. Firm in topline. Moderate rear. Can firm in front action, but has a light and quick stride.

2nd: 3651 ROSKELL, Miss C Phixons straumann

Liked him for proportioned. Not the front of 1, he is a bit steep in upper arm and pastern. Liked his head. Better eyes and ears than 3. Deep chest. Level topline. Well set tail with a moderate rear. Also v good in profile action.

1st: 3618 BEST-RAWLINGS, Mrs Carol A Tapena No Ryuu Tomodachi at Trixwood

Super profile mover.. Liked his proportions. Masc head, eyes could be better shaped and set, but they are dark. Enough neck. Moderate and balanced in his angulation. Could be firmer in hind action, but a typy d.

Liked his proportions and profile action. Could be tidier out and back. Masc head. Liked his neck. He is moderate and balanced in his angulation. Fairly well filled front. Level topline.

2nd: 3614 BEHAN, Mrs Dawn TIBLHA IM A CONKARAH

Well put together but just looks a little heavy in type. Well balanced head. Would like better eyes. Neck is better than it looks under his thick coat. Level topline. Well sprung ribs. Maybe a bit too moderate in rear.

Really super d, ideal proportions and super profile action. He has a v good head, correct balance of muzzle to skull. Hooded ears. Eyes are ok. Medium and thick in neck. Enough fill of chest to give a H front. Well made in front. Super body. Firm in topline with a well set tail. Correct hind angulation. He is slightly close going away, but they all have something. Liked his proportions and he has a better width of chest than 3. V good head. Correct neck. Could have more fill in front. Level topline. V moderate rear. Liked his stride.

Typically willful! Her proportions are good. Fem in head, would prefer better eyes. Correct neck. She is well balanced in her angulation. Level topline. Well ribbed. Went well.

2nd: 3619 BOWLER, Mrs J Tapena Kohana for Jakave

V fem and of good proportions. Well balanced head. Would like a better shaped eye. Enough neck. Quite wide in front. Level topline. V moderate in rear.

3rd: 3638 JOHNSON, Miss Janet Almolka For Eva in Blue Jeans at Xandaloo (AQ1)

Class of real babies who could swap around on performance.

Put up the best show, especially going around. She is longer than ideal, and needs to fill in the middle. Fem head that is slightly small, super eye and expression. Hooded ears. Thick and medium neck. Has a well made front. Super rear in v good coat and muscle

2nd: 3648 RITCHIE, Mrs & Miss I & S Amivike's I'm Leia

Standing I really liked her, as yet not quite together on move and not the quick lengthy stride of 1. She has a v good head. Liked her eye and expression. Balanced and moderate in her angulation. Firm in topline. When she gets her act together should do better.

3rd: 3615 BEHAN, Mrs Dawn Tiblha made in heaven

1st: 3630 DUNHILL-HALL, Miss Michaella VORMUND TOUKA KIRISHIMA

Really super puppy, just throwing her coat away. Really liked her proportions and such a good mover with a quick and light action with enough stride. V good head, eyes could be slightly bigger. Super ears. Correct neck. Well filled front. Well ribbed. Topline is level. Moderate rear. Well set tail. BP & RCC

2nd: 3650 ROSKELL, Miss C Tapena Yamamoto nadesshiko

Like her shape stood, she is just a bit untidy out and back and not stride of 1. She has a v good head. Correct neck. Could have a bit more fill in front. Level topline. Wouldn’t want any more hind angulation.

Liked her proportions and she is so v well made. Rather out of coat and a mind of her own moving, but is sound. Liked her head. She has just a bit more fill of chest than 2. Correct neck. Chest to elbow. Well ribbed back. V good rear.

Close up. Liked her head. She is well proportioned muzzle to skull. Super eye and expression. Moderate and balanced in angulation. Level topline.

Much to like on her, starting to throw her coat off. She is well proportions. Well balanced head. Eyes could be better. Medium neck. Balanced in her angulation. Not quite the stride of 1. Accurate out and back.

Liked her shape, not as good in front action as 1. Liked her head, super eye and expression, neat ears. Thick neck. Level topline. Well filled front. Moderate rear, used well. She too is coming into coat.
