Breed: Brittany

Junior Dog (1)

1st: NICHOLLS, Bonapartist Trooper at Stonesview

A well constructed youngster with a pleasing outline and plenty of substance. Correct head proportions, but rather deep stop, dark eye colour. Strong neck leading into muscular forequarters and elbows tight in. Well developed in body with correct square appearance. Right amount of rear angulation with good width to thighs and strong hocks. I thought he was carrying a little too much weight today. He moved on a good short stride once he settled, full of energy and quite a handful to manage.

Limit Dog (1)

1st: TAYLOR & GILL, Rennes de Pasmazgeng

A quality tri-colour I have judge previously and I was very pleased to see how well he has developed. Well shaped head of correct proportions with ears set on high, dark eye colour giving him a lovely expression. He has good reach of neck and moderate angulation and good depth to chest. Correct rear angulation with well developed thighs. He exceled in movement with a brisk stride and held his topline well. Shown in hard muscular condition, pleased to award him the Res CC.

Open Dog (1)

1st: GRAHAM & YARROW, Sh Ch Bonapartist Pickpocket

I was really drawn to this exceptional o/w dog for his overall workmanlike and sound construction. He has a square outline, short backed and correct angulation both fore and aft with slight slope to croup. He has a classic head with adequate stop and expressive dark eye, correct earset with triangular finish. Presented in tiptop coat and condition with rich colouring and moved effortlessly around the ring on a typical short stride. He is in total harmony with his handler, my CC winner and BOB and pleased to see him shortlisted in the group.

Junior Bitch (1)

1st: YARROW, Sh Ch Bonapartist Truffle

Well shaped head of correct proportions, very expressive eyes of good colour. She has a super front assembly with correct angles, and elbows tight in. Right amount or rear angulation to complete the picture, giving her the typical Brittany outline.I found her very well developed for her age in both body and coat, a super package throughout. Oozes confidence and moves with purpose on a brisk stride. Presented in first class order and pushed the dog hard in the challenge. My CC winner.

Limit Bitch (1 )

1st: SLACK, Bonapartist Snow Goose

Another quality bitch, very well balanced throughout. Correct head proportions slightly rounded in skull and correct high earset, eyes of good colour and shape. Clean neck and has correct front assembly. Moderate stifle angulation and tight feet. Still looks immature and needs time to finish. A super mover and very well handled.

Open Bitch (1)

1st: YARROW, Sh Ch Bonapartist Odile

A mature o/w bitch well off for bone and substance yet retails her femininity. On the stack she has a typical square and cobby appearance and is of good size with correct proportions. Loved her head, correct skull shape and just enough stop. Clean over neck with firm body and strong loin, a positive and sound mover with good topline, a worthy Show Champion, my Res CC winner.
