Driffield Championship Dog Show
Many thanks to the Driffield committee for the opportunity to judge this lovely breed. I had a quality entry and it was rewarding to see so many special beginners entered. I did note a few suspect mouths, and overall presentation was good, just a few were untidy underneath. A big thanks to my excellent stewards Pauline & Ian who kept everything running smoothly

1 Beever’s Snowgate Parti Over To Dandyjan 8 yr old b/r with pleasing head and dark eye. Straight front with good feet, compact, strong body, covered the ground well with good tail action. BV
2 Wheatley’s Wilmerella Keep Dancing with Melandroy b/r in fabulous condition for 12 yrs, pleasing head, well made throughout, moved soundly.

1 Smith’s Della Fiumana Let's Have Fun At Luanshya (IMP HRV) lovely b/r with super head and expression, masculine all through, straight well boned legs, well padded feet, ample depth and ribbing, compact and has good width behind. A very happy boy and once settled he moved soundly and true.
2 Tomlinson’s Milalder Jumpin Jack Flash pleasing b/r in lovely condition all through, slightly longer in loin than winner but moved out well.
3 Wilson & Groves Grelleson Puzzlewood

1 Amos-Jones Dom Perignon of La Vie Magnifique at Cassom (IMP HUN). B/r of super breed type, loved his head, strong neck and correct shoulders, good spring of rib with compact body, well put together all through, which showed in his true movement BP and pleased to see him shortlisted in the group
2 Tait’s Crimicar Midnight Destiny nicely made b/r, not the maturity of winner but stood and moved true.

1 Young’s Canyonn Black Caviar headed a super class of promising youngsters, quality black, best of heads with dark eye and soft expression. Well placed shoulders, straight legs and neat feet, ample ribbing and depth, strong and compact, moved true fore and aft, showed excellent reach and drive in profile.
2 Sinclair’s Claramand Mercury Rising at Duclarus lovely b/r of excellent make and shape, pleasing head, compact body, lovely free mover.
3 Beever’s Dandyjan Dark Defender

1 Stokes-Harrell Riondel The Showman b/r of lovely breed type, correct headshape with dark eye, presented a lovely compact outline on the stack and moved out positively covering the ground well.
2nd: Dolan’s Wilanorah Never Say Never b/r who pushed the winner all the way, another of lovely breed type, compact body and well ribbed, moved out steadily.
3rd: Robinson’s Wilmerella Perfect Storm

1 Walton’s Annaside Let's Dance very smart compact black with most pleasing head and expression, super front and feet, presents a clean outline on the stack and moved out soundly with a firm topline and correct tail carriage.
2 Palmer’s Shansart Sky Dancer b/r of lovely breed type, well shaped head, good forequarters, ample depth and ribbing, sound, true mover.
3 Sheridan’s Oktumi Mischief Maker JW

1 Collins Bartonholm Prince Of Tides at Candyke JW b/r judged him as a puppy and pleased to see he has matured so well, he is masculine all through, scores in head with most appealing expression and square muzzle. Well sprung ribs, good depth and short strong loin. Good width to rear, sound, true mover showing good reach and drive.
2 Wildman’s Oktumi Major Player very smart b/r dog, presents a lovely outline, compact body, free moving, think the best is yet to come from him.

1 Keely’s Oakbeach Dare to Dream Big with Alhambian (Swed Imp) another I did well last time I judged, he has now fulfilled his promise, the standard calls for ‘sturdy’ which he is, having strength throughout without being coarse, best of heads, clean neck, super ribbing and depth, short and strong in loin. Drives well off short hocks covering the ground well. CC
2 Williams’ Sh Ch Wilmerella Outlander JW lot’s to like about this young b/r, presents a lovely outline when stood, he wasn’t as settled on the move here but upped his game when called back in to take the RCC
3 Marsden’s Chativore Winter Solstice

1 Smith’s Pearkim Pokemon at Luanshya JW well presented o/r with lovely head and expression, clean neck, good forequarters, ample bone and tidy feet, good depth and spring of rib, moved soundly from strong rear.
2 Needham’s Snowgate Gold Edition At Merryhaze smaller framed but nicely put together, steady mover covering the ground well.
3 Collier’s Pepperbox Midnight Parti

1 Henderson’s Pendledell Mia Tesorino pretty black with lovely head and expression, compact with ample bone and body for age, moved out well with good tail carriage
2 Henderson’s Pendledell Ti Amo litter sister to winner and has many of the same attributes, splitting hairs for placings but felt winner held herself together more on the move.
3 Watt’s Senoia A Song Of Ice And Fire

1 Mitchell’s Glowhill Raggedy Ann well made b/r well shaped head, clean in neck with ample bone and good feet, nicely ribbed for age, strong loin and moved freely and soundly. BPB
2 Sherlock’s Crimicar Midnight Dreamz smaller framed b/r of just 9 months, pleasing head, stands and moves true with a happy disposition.
3 Terry’s Shaggylands Sexy and I No It

1 Bacon’s Timbric Doris Day attractive b/r with nicely balanced head shape and good eye, well off for bone, neat feet, decent spring of rib, compact with strong hindquarters, moved soundly fore and aft covering the ground well.
2 Macfarlane’s Cooleela Electra lovely headed golden with dark eye, clean neck, stands true, ample bone and body moved out steadily

1 Tomlinson’s Milalder Dreaming On A Star b/r of lovely breed type, well made all through, looked a picture standing and moved out freely BSB and pleased to see her awarded SB Grp 3
2 Stokes-Harrell’s Whinburn Praire Grouse smart gold with pleasing head and expression, compact body, moved out well and pushed the winner all the way.
3 Walker’s Ryallcourt Angelica Pickle at Spindlesway

1 Amos-Jones Cassom Merrilegs this light b/r really caught my eye, oozes breed type and strength but retains her femininity, well shaped head and lovely dark eye, best of legs and feet, well ribbed with short, strong loin, good width with muscular hindquarters, stands so true with nothing exaggerated, on the move she covers the ground with ease and moves with true cocker style and ever wagging tail. Last time I judged I awarded her BP and thought she was a star in the making. I was delighted to award her first CC with BOB and lovely to see her make the shortlist in the group.
2 Davies’ Annaside Winter's Moon lovely b/r with pleasing head and soft expression, well constructed throughout and presented in tip top condition. Very true mover fore and aft, with a lovely profile gait.
3 Beever’s Dandyjan Tiny Dancer
LB (7,3)
1 Sinclair’s Chataway Dress Tartan at Duclarus JW ShCEx OSW appealing black who scores in head and expression, super bone and feet, ample ribbing and depth, very sound on the move and shows good reach and drive.
2 Mitchell’s Glowhill Sweet Magnolia b/r a little stronger in head than winner but is so well put together, presents a lovely outline and covered the ground well.
3 Ward’s Wensum Dancing in the Dark JW

1 Collin & Wildman’s Sh Ch Oktumi Opalescence there is no mistaking the quality of this well turned out b/r, she has the sweetest head and expression, well constructed throughout , compact body and well made hindquarters. She moves out with style and confidence but had to settle for RCC today.
2 Shinkfield & Lester’s Quettadene Queen of Stars JW pleasing black of good breed type, feminine head, clean neck, ample bone and body. Moved out soundly once settled.
3 Kengyelics Hebdene Harbour Nights

1 Tavernor’s Cachel In The Moonlight At Regaltav very feminine b/r of lovely make and shape, ample bone and body, moved out steadily and soundly.
2 Daniels Charbonnel Dream Come True at Senoia pretty black with sweet expression, presents a lovely outline when stood but a little proud of her tail on the move.
