1st Boyles’ Pixiesrock Mr Tumnus by Bleyos – Nearly 8 months old dog who presented a good outline and was balanced, masculine head with intelligent expression, broad, round skull with medium stop, strong neck into well placed shoulders, straight front leading to good sized feet, well sprung ribs, short coupled, well turned stifles, in good coat, moved effortlessly around the ring. BPD, RBD & BP

2nd Barrow’s Pixiesrock Aslan – I see these are litter brothers and similar remarks apply, masculine head and intelligent expression, medium length neck, good front assembly, well boned from leading to well rounded feet, well sprung ribs, well bent stifle, not in the best of coats, moved soundly but a little close behind.

1st Murch & Mayhew’s Next Generations Arnac Arctic Storm (Imp Usa) – Balanced dog who appeals for breed type, masculine head with an alert expression and correct proportions, medium strong neck into well laid back shoulders, well developed chest, well sprung ribs, correct topline and tuck up, not in best coat but has a strong rear end which he used on the move to win this class. BD

2nd Mahon-Hunns, Hunns & Newton’s Sh Ch Arnac Bay Huron at Bergelle JW - Balanced dog who has breed type, broad, masculine head with medium stop, strong neck into well placed shoulders with equal length of upper arm, straight front, chest deep, short coupled, correct rear angles, in good coat, moved soundly.

1st Murch’s Pixiesrock Green Kirkle – Litter sister to my BPD just a feminine version. Raw at the moment but has the attributes of her litter brothers. Feminine head with an alert expression, small high set ears, medium neck into well laid back shoulders with corresponding return of upper arm, straight front leading to correct feet, deep chested for age, in good coat, well bent stifle, was a bit unsure of herself but once settled she moved well. Another I shall watch with interest. RBB & BPB

1st Watts’ Oakmarsh Freedom – Bitch who presented a balanced outline, feminine head and alert expression with correct small high set ears, strong neck, good front and rear quarters, good bone, well sprung ribs, deep chested, in good coat, moved soundly.

2nd Searles’ Oakmarsh Indian Dream Maker for Cravessa – Balanced bitch with a feminine head and intelligent expression, good head proportions, medium strong neck into well laid back shoulders, deep chested, well sprung ribs, correct tuck up, well turned stifles, not in best coat today, moved soundly.

3rd Turner’s Oakmarsh Haunting Melody (ai)

1st Mayhew & Middleton’s Sh Ch Arnac Bay Hebe Wgc Ew22 – A bitch I have judged before and she just gets better every time. She appeals for breed type and balance, feminine throughout, head of correct proportions with an alert intelligent expression, small high set ears, strong neck into well placed shoulders, straight well boned front into correct feet, well developed chest, ribs well sprung, correct topline and tuck up, well muscled rear end. Moved out with style my notes say. Pleased to award her BB but felt today that the dog coped better with the ring we had. BB

2nd Watts’ Sh Ch Oakmarsh Chestnut – Feminine bitch with good body proportions, deep chested, well sprung ribs, correct tuck up, well bent stifle, was carrying a bit too much weight over the shoulders which affected her front movement, moved soundly.

One to watch in the future. BD

1st Hodgkinson’s Sh Ch Zorrazo Quest for Success (Imp Hrv) JW Esp Jch Hr Jch - A dog I have judged before and still appealed for breed type, masculine head with correct proportions, medium sized eyes, correct ear set and shape, strong neck into well laid shoulders with corresponding return of upper arm, level back, well sprung ribs, deep chested well muscled rear end move soundly with drive from behind.

2nd Donaldson’s Zorrazo Alter Bridge at Prizelands (Imp Hrv) - adult that appealed for breed type but today he would not settle ask Lynne head and expression with a flat skull and slight stop correct eyes very expressive short neck into well laid back shoulders deep tristed well sprung rapes moderately angled rear end correct tile set, moved soundly once settled

1st Thompson’s Prizelands Fondant Fancy at Cooishka – A bitch I have judged before as a puppy and has matured on and fulfilled her early promise. She appeals for breed type, feminine head and expression with correct proportions strong neck into well laid back shoulders, straight front leading to round tight feet, well sprung ribs, deep chested, level back, well muscled rear end, moved soundly and with a powerful drive, in excellent coat. BB & BOB

2nd Donaldson’s Prizelands Frosted Fancy – this bitch gave her handler a hard time and afterwards I found out she is litter sister to the 1st. This bitch presented a pleasing outline, feminine head with correct proportions, short strong neck into well laid back shoulders, straight front leading to tight feet, deep chested, well sprung ribs, level back, moderate rear end, moved well.

2nd Hodgkinson-Rutherford & Rutherford’s Sh Ch Chanderhill Hecho En Espana Jww18 – Bitch that presented a pleasing outline, feminine head, short neck into well placed shoulders, good spring of rib, deep chested, level back, moderate rear end, gave handler a hard time standing but she got there. Moved well with powerful drive.

1st Graham’s Sh Ch Eald Dances with Wolves Among Nyliram JW ShCEx OSW - This balanced dog appealed for breed type, masculine head with soft expression, slightly arched neck into excellent front assembly, well boned front leading to well padded feet, deep chested, well sprung ribs, in excellent rich golden liver coat, muscular rear end which was used on the move. Moved true with a distinctive roll. BD & BOB

2nd Moon’s Foxhampton Fields of Gold – It states in the standard that the Sussex is an energetic dog and this lad certainly was as he finally settled once I was doing my critique. Masculine dog with good head proportions, Strong slightly arched neck into good layback of shoulder, deep chested, well sprung ribs, loin well muscled, in good coat, moved well once settled.
