Many thanks to the exhibitors for giving me the opportunity to judge some lovely top quality hounds. Puppy Entries: 2 Absentees: 0 1ST Rangali French Fancy (Mr R & Mrs H Allenby) 6 month old attractive bitch with clearly a good future ahead of her. Most attractive headpiece with dark expressive eyes. Good ears with correct folding. Correct forehand, well developed ribbing for age, correct topline. Well angulated rear which showed in her sound driving movement once she had settled. RBB and BPIB 2ND Revenite Mrs Bridges (Mr M & Mr J Stevenson-Bramley) 6 month old taller bitch with an excellent harsh coat. Attractove head with correct doned skull, less angulation than 1st but adequate. Moved well when settled with a ground covering gait. Junior Entries: 3 Absentees: 1 1ST Revenite Mr Hudson (Mr M & Mr J Stevenson-Bramley) 6 month old dog of a lovely type. Good head with slightly doned skull, dark eyes and correct ear. Strong neck, good shoulder angulation, well boned. Decent ribbing, well angulated rear which he used well on the move showing true parallel movement coming and going and covered the ground in profile. Promising puppy. RBD 2ND Rangali Gretel at Shimmeree (Mrs C & Miss M Hills) 17 month bitch with a beautiful head with correct domed skull and good ears. Correct length of neck leading into moderately angled shoulders. Rather compact in body with good ribbing. Would prefer more angulation behind. Moved well showing good profile movement. Post Graduate Entries: 2 Absentees: 1 1ST Rangali Gretel at Shimmeree (Mrs C & Miss M Hills) As 2nd in junior Open Entries: 3 Absentees: 0 1ST Ch Rangali Tigger (Mr R & Mrs H Allenby) 7yr old dog of an excellent type, strong masculine head with correct dome and dark expressive eyes. Good ears. Rather short muscular neck typical of the breed leading into correctly angulated shoulders. Good ribbing with correct top and underline. Well bent stifles giving him desired rear angulation. Moved briskly with purpose showing parallel action coming and going and covering the ground well in profile. Was pushed hard by his stable mate in this class but felt he just had the edge today. BD & BOB 2ND Ch Rangali Yum Yum (Mr R & Mrs H Allenby) Another lovely hound who is so feminine, attractive head with correct eye and ear. Good length of neck leading into well angulated front, good bone. Well developed ribbing with correct topline. Balanced rear angulation. Moved briskly with parallel action both coming and going. In the final go around the dog just opened up that little bit more which was my final decider. Lovely bitch. BB & BOS 3RD Shiroblam Seal of Approval (Mr M & Mr J Stevenson-Bramley)
