Breed: BIS

British Chihuahua Club

Sunday 19th November

Thank you to the Committee for inviting me to judge BIS. It was a super entry for both well respected judges.

BIS: Longcoat - Peeker’s JP/DK/SE/FI/NO Ch Bramver’s Millionaire

Not much more can be said about this dog that has not been captured by the breed Judge’s critique already. A real joy to assess a dog of such quality and confidence. On the table, he is incredibly proud which allows for a thorough assessment. A super headpiece with perfect and clean dentition, leads in to good reach of neck and well laid shoulders. A noticeably muscular body of correct proportions and coat exactly as it should be. Super feet, dainty and neat. On the move he is a joy to watch, moving with brisk forceful action, head held high, topline firm and level and a well set and carried tail to finish the picture. BIS without hesitation.

RBIS: Smoothcoat - Sutton's Ch Nikitos Notwhitebutivory.

Unfortunate to meet the LC BOB for BIS. Fabulously compact bitch with well sprung ribs and of good balance, firm topline and good tailset and carriage, giving an eye catching outline. Happy disposition. Typical chihuahua head with good dark eyes, giving a true saucy expression. Moved well in profile and stayed on her toes.

BPIS: Longcoat - Robson's Tidos Honey Pot

A promising baby, moving well for her age and experience. Good headpiece with a soft expression and room to mature in to herself, not overdone in anyway. Fabulous ears. Everything going in the right direction!

RBPIS: Longcoat - Skinner’s Mujerosa Hats Off To You

Another quality puppy from the longcoat line up with good movement and confidence. A really cheeky expression on this youngster which draws you in entirely. Good dentition and a masculine head. Nicely balanced with good tail set and carriage.

BVIS: Smoothcoat – Facey’s Ch Copymear Calendar Boy

This little fella comes out of retirement from time to time just to remind his audience that he’s still got it. I have always admired the balance and construction of this boy from ringside and he doesn’t disappoint as a veteran. Still moving with brisk, forceful action. Good dentition for age. He’s still a joy to watch move around a ring with such a super side profile.
