This was not the happiest of dogs, but he did enough to win his place here. A 6 year old with lots of breed points. Very masculine in outlook and strongly boned. Clear markings. Best SB

2nd: 2598 ROSSA, Ms A & BORECKA, Mrs S Hasaki Team Birin Kagatomisou

At 9 months, still very immature. Lovely head and ears with masculine outlook. Clear colour and markings. Rear action is not good at the moment but I hope will strengthen given time.

Stylish male with striking colour. Good overall proportions and decent bone. Strong short coupling. Moderate angles. Good feet. Free and easy mover. Still a lot of maturing to do, I think but a very promising prospect.

A strong boy but with the head properties asked for. Very well built throughout with good bone and body. Could present a squarer profile. Excellent croup and tail set.

Very stylish chap not quite the body and development and strength of coupling as 1. Really quite unsettled, but it had been a long day. Moved out soundly.

I understand subsequently that this dog has done a lot of winning. As usual I have kept away from the breed knowing I was going to judge it, but it is easy to see why he has done so well. Not the biggest of males but he makes a well-proportioned picture with good balance. His red/fawn coat is immaculately presented and has quality. Excellent flat croup and tail set with well carried tail. He has the crest and neck length required and a firm topline. He moves out with style and class. Best Dog and BOB.

Silver brindle of an athletic build. Feminine head with well inclined ears well spaced. Needs to firm up in movement. Good tail set and nicely handled.

2nd: 2582 BOLTON, Mrs Susan & BOLTON, Mr David Tsoyu Uramiyakihime Go

Shaded red, She has a good body and coupling. Her built has moderate angles which she used well on the move. I preferred the head pattern of 1.

What a promising baby this is. Lovely outline. Good head shape with well placed eyes and ear inclination. Good reach of neck and crest. Moving stylishly. I was impressed as she is ‘all of a piece’ for a puppy.

2nd: 2593 PIKE & CARTER, Mrs & Mrs Julie & Ashlie Breezelyn Mori Nomusume

Another promising youngster. Still immature to go over generally, but a front assembly to be prized. She was really unsettled and not giving her best. Well presented and sound.

A stylish lady. Not developed through the body yet but what is there is very promising. Croup a little sloping but tail set seems to sit OK. Good overall profile and moving out well

Not quite the eye set of 1 but many of the same remarks apply. Well turned out. Not the movement of 1.

Very thick coat and strong bone on this dark brindle. Good overall proportions. Very well developed through first and second thigh. Flat croup and well set tail. Moving with precision.

2nd: 2585 DAVIS, Miss Zoe RYUUKITA DANU (IKC)

White presented in pristine condition. Not as mature as 1 and needs to develop through the body and rear. Good pigment and eye set. Moves out freely.

Loved this girl. Excellent head shape, eye set and ear set. Lovely crest and neck. Good balance front and rear. Moving out in a stylish manner. Excellent tail set. A bit unsettled but her quality shone through. Best Bitch

Mature girl of 8 ½ but well deserved her first place here. In very fit condition and moving out so soundly and spritely. A feminine head with good pigment and a good outline. Loved her densely coloured coat. Well presented.
