What a fabulous entry I had today. I saw a lot of dogs with quality and must especially mention both Veteran Classes; these dogs can age very well and still be competitive for a long time. Several exhibits ‘pushed the measure’. They do not shrink with age and some mouths could be more secure but breeders should be congratulated with the advances made in this breed; it was a joy to judge this entry, something I don’t always say! Most exhibits were new to me, so interesting as well.

At 12 ½ in great shape and still a lovely representative of the breed. Presentation faultless and showmanship as if she were still a Junior. Starting to loose shape a little in the head now, but really, a girl to be proud of.
Best Veteran

1st: 3929 KING, Mrs C J Daraydala Missouri of Grizwold
Well coated black beautifully built and with good bone. Ideal head and eye shape with small erect ears. Beautiful body and coupling. Level croup and good tail set. Another it is hard to fault. Presenting a good outline and showing with great aplomb and confidence.
Another new one to me. CC and BOB.
2nd: 3904 ANDREW, Ms Karoline Claran Blue Aurora
A quite different style of girl being slightly smaller and longer but this girl’s attributes come to the fore on examination on the table. She is sturdy, well boned. She has a fabulous rib cage and coupling and what she lacks in size she makes up for in showmanship. At tis stage of judging I felt that she has more to offer the breed than just a pretty face. Well presented and handled.
