1ST    12782 - Ch Sobers Zimbalist (Mrs S & Mr A Hein & Marschall) a soundly constructed 7½ year old impressive male who has a powerful muscular look. He has an attractive masculine head set on to a strong, lengthy well-shaped neck, sound and firm in body. He has depth, spring and is ribbed well back with a profile displaying his substance, power and generous proportions. Pleasing balance in angulations front and rear. He moved out well both coming and going, best mover of this class. Best Veteran in Breed.

 2ND    12809 - Puppy Eyes at Muicks (Mrs A K Thompson) another 7½ year old who is of similar look to 1st but not having similar muscular substance. Pleasing head shape, good neck length set on to a well-proportioned body. True front although tended to stand and move wider than I’d prefer. Moderate angled hindquarters. Moved freely but was unsettled in front and needing more drive to rear action.

3RD    12769 - Wachovia Benjy (Miss Clarke) a well enough constructed upstanding 7-year-old male who is acceptable in overall make and shape but tended to be weak and splay in front. Typy and masculine head of good shape and proportions set onto a long enough neck leading to a substantial body. Balanced angulations front/rear. Movement was unsettled in front and lacked strength behind.

1ST    12779 - Southpoint Niemeyer at Highwick (Imp Prt) (Mrs K Harrison-Stratford) an impressive self-red 11-month-old young male who is striking in appearance and is well developed in bone and body. He has a breed quality appearance and all the necessities needed for a sound foundation to mature into a super adult. True in front, good reach of neck set well into a powerful body. Pleasing spring and ribbing which I preferred to 2nd. Typy masculine head with a desirable dark eye and confident expression. Moved the best of this class and a real contender for top honours. A puppy with oodles of promise. Best Puppy in Breed.

 2ND    12814 - Azravi’s Marked by The Sunrise at Kirjojax (Imp Nor) (Mrs J & Mr R J Wilce-Quinton & Quinton) a racy 8-month-old self-white who is well made and well grown in bone and body. Pleasing head, obviously masculine. Head set on a ‘reachy’ strong neck. He has an elegant shape and is of pleasing proportions and balance. He has lots of promise with a desirable foundation to develop and onward maturity. Needs to settle in front action but has pleasing drive and width behind.

He has a handsome, breed typical head which I liked. He is well made and has nothing in exaggeration with moderate angulations both in front and rear. Firm bodied with desirable spring and is ribbed well back. True and parallel in front stands on tight feet. He is graceful and elegant in appearance having ‘just right’ overall length of body, graceful top line with strong firm loin. Moved well, true in front and drive behind.

 2ND    12771 - Sky Hi Hunt London Calling NAF (Mr D Clarke) a very shapely 14 month-old Black who has a racy but elegant look. Athletic in build with notable graceful features. I liked his head which is of good length, shape and proportions and all-male. Pleasing length of neck and flowing top line. He appears to be at the in-between stage of development but has great promise to fill out and mature. True front with good pasterns of moderate length. Needs to be stood out over the ground to look at his best. Moved with purpose but needing to steady and settle his front action.

True parallel front and springy pasterns; fine in body all through with fine legs with the look of a running hound. His hindquarters could be stronger. Moved OK with true, forward front action but would prefer stronger and more drive behind.                                                                                                                                     2ND    12780 - Hooyas Mate (Miss A V Hatton) a rising 7-year-old not having the overall racy profile, proportions and balance as 1st. Front could be tighter but he has pleasing depth of chest and a firm top-line with adequate width all through. Could be more settled on the move.

He has a masculine head of good length which is proportional in width. He has correctly shaped dark eyes providing a confident expression. True and parallel in front with good length neck and adequate length in body; firm in body cover and satisfactory muscle. Needs to be stood out over the ground to show his best profile. Moved the best of this class.

 2ND    12804 - Jaxx Teller at Stonelow (Ms H Sawyer) an 8-year-old mature male who has a well-proportioned attractive head set on a strong good length neck. Sturdy in body with a true front, firm in body cover and top-line. Moderately angled hindquarters which need to strengthen. Would like him to be sounder on the move.

3RD    12763 - Jet's Intermezzo by Night with Ransley (Imp Nor) (Mr P W & Mrs R A Bartlett) a well grown 6-year-old shapely self-Black male who tended to sink into himself and spoil his profile. Overall, he is of good proportions and when standing free, he has a true enough front and decent forequarters, OK in body, sloping top-line and well angulated behind both tended to be exaggerated when dropping his back-end. Unsettled movement especially behind.

He has elegant, graceful lines and he is of excellent conformation and shape. Handsome head with bright intelligent eyes. True, strong front, pleasing length of body which has depth and is well ribbed back. Firm, flowing top-line with strong loin with good width hindquarters and parallel hocks. He has obvious muscle definition. He is impressive when moving with a true and positive forward motion with easy ground covering strides. My Dog CC winner

 2ND    12774 - Graal Quest Once in A Life Time (Mr A Dumortier) a really powerfully constructed 4½ year old upstanding male. A really top quality, honest male with nothing in exaggeration. Soundly made all through being firm in body cover and of generous proportions. Handsome head set on a strong, good length neck. Well-made front and forequarters. Substantial body which has firm muscle and graceful lines. True in front and soundly angled in hindquarters. Free and easy on the move, just not as precise in front as 1st. My Reserve Dog CC winner.

 3RD    12759 - It Ch Sobers Gaston Ww20 Euw22 (Mrs B & Mr P Ahrens & Primavera) a 2½ year old Red of similar shape to 2nd. He is quality in progress and I’m sure will improve and improve. He has an eye-catching side profile when settled. Attractive head, good length strong neck and a strong, sturdy body with stable, moderately angled hindquarters. Tended to lean into his handler spoiling his appearance. Let himself down on the move by moving across his handler.

Pleasing angles front and rear with graceful lines flowing to powerful quarters.  Moved with free, easy action but would prefer a more positive, settled front action.

2ND    12796 - Nordic Queen (Mrs K Nutter) a racy 4½ year old feminine looking bitch. Pleasing head and eye; good length in neck and overall body; decent angles front and rear. Unfortunate toe injury although not affecting movement. Preferred her profile and proportions to 3rd. She moved with a free easy action being true in front, would prefer more extension.

 2ND    12789 - Ina’s Fashion Famous (Mrs I Koulermou) litter sister to 1st and is of similar shape and qualities. Very attractive standing profile complimented by her pleasing proportions and balance. Lovely head and expression set well onto a good length neck and well-made, firmly covered body which has adequate depth and ribbing. Unsettled on the move especially in front.

Firm, flowing and elegant in top-line. Excellent body length and proportions. Pleasing muscle definition. Moved with true extension in front and parallel drive behind. My Bitch CC and Best of Breed winner. An excellent Greyhound breed representative in the Group ring.

Balanced and of excellent overall proportions. True in front with pleasing forechest, body and powerful hindquarters. She has sound moderate angulation front and rear which together with her head, neck, body and hindquarters presents an impressive picture. Just not at her best on the move today. My Reserve Bitch CC winner.

 3RD    12783 - Skyswift Moonlite Serenade (Mrs M Howlett) a mature 6½year old bitch of eye-catching shape and proportions. Attractive head set on good length, strong neck. Pleasing front, body and hindquarters. Overall, a very pleasing picture. Free moving but I would prefer more width on the move both front and rear.
