Masculine head with elegant lines; head set on good length neck. True front, well-made all through with enough covering of body, strong graceful lines with moderately angled hindquarters. True movement but needing to stride out with more enthusiasm.

1st: 2317 HAMILTON, Mrs Margaret & HAMILTON, Miss Hayley & G Caryna Oberon an 11-month-old elegant self-black young bitch who has flowing lines and the appearance of a running hound. She is attractive in head both in shape and proportions; head set on a good length neck. Pleasing bone and body development with pleasing spring and depth of chest. Long, moderately angled hindquarters. Moved well and free and the better of the class. Best Puppy In Breed.

2nd: 2322 HARE, Mrs A Caryna Prometheus litter sister to 1st and shares many of her sister’s attributes. However, lacks the mature depth of chest of 1st. She has a pleasing head, length of neck, true front, pleasing top-line and moderate hindquarters. I preferred her overall style and graceful shape to that of 3rd. Free moving.

He is of good size and has satisfying proportions and balance. Masculine typical head; true front, well boned and firm bodied. Lacked enthusiasm on the move.

1st: 2321 HARE, Mrs A Caryna Speranta an elegant well-balanced 4½ year old light red male who stands over the ground and who has an overall well-proportioned profile. Attractive head which is refined, masculine and breed typical and which I preferred to 2nd. True in front, pleasing top line and moderate, stable hindquarters. He has the look of a running hound. Free moving with pleasing front action which I preferred to 2nd.

2nd: 2307 CAMPLING, Mrs Christina Classicus Faizan an 18-month-old red male who has similarity in shape to 1st. Strong head set on proportional length neck, powerful body and moderate rear angulation. Not as tight in front as 1st especially on the move. Easy movement but would prefer more controlled forward action.

Class 1098 LD (4 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 2332 WARD, Mrs Lynda Caryna Manantena at Backtor a well-covered, powerfully made 4½-year-old shapely male. I note he is litter brother to my 1st in the previous class. Handsome, breed typical head set on a strong neck leading to a well-made, sturdy body and powerful looking hindquarters. True in front with pleasing fore-chest and depth of chest. Moved with true forward action; would prefer more extension in front and drive behind.

2nd: 2310 DE SOUZA, Mrs Connie & DE SOUZA, Miss Lottie & WOO Luachmhar Jalil a 2½-year-old black shapely male. Attractive in head set on a good length neck. True front which I preferred to 3rd. Not the stature compared to 1st but he is graceful in look and undeniably has ‘speedy’ lines. Pleasing front, body and hindquarters. Impressive in outline and possesses a strong, athletic appearance. Handsome, breed typical head and confident, far away expression; head set on a strong good length neck flowing into a well-made body. True front and pleasing width and fill-in across the chest.  Firm in body and top-line with notable firm rise over his strong loin. Presents a very satisfying, breed typical picture. Best mover here today. My Dog CC and Best of Breed winner.

2nd: 2319 HARDING, Mrs Cathy & COWLEY, Miss Naomi Ch Classicus Odysseus at Ashahni a mature 4-year-old upstanding grizzle male who is elegant in look and powerful in appearance. Masculine typy head although preferred the classic lines of 1st. Strong neck, well-constructed true front, feet could be tighter, excels in body, make and shape with pleasing strong, moderately angled hindquarters. Preferred his overall balance and proportions of body and his side profile and movement to that of 3rd.

1st: 2312 GARRATT, Mrs Denise & OAKEY, Miss Sharon Caryna Esperanza a quality 3½-year-old cream bitch who has nothing in exaggeration. Well-constructed all through from her true front, desirable fore-,chest and ‘just right’ spring of rib and depth of chest, to her moderately angled, strong hindquarters. Firm in top-line and satisfying in underline and tuck up. Lovely head shape, dark eyes and pleasing ears. Well covered body which adds to her look of strength and power. Moved the better of this class. My Reserve Bitch CC winner.

2nd: 2330 SANDERS PARKER, Mrs M E Ch Classicus Felicitas JW an attractively marked 18-month-old breed quality bitch who has a lovely head and a confident, friendly expression. Head set well on to her strong good length neck flowing into well laid shoulders. Pleasing front and fore-chest. True front, firm body and solid, nicely angled hindquarters. Free moving but needing to settle especially in front action.
