Pleasing masculine, breed typical head which is balanced, in proportion with pleasing head planes and depth of muzzle. Good length and shape of neck but would prefer slightly less dewlap; well-made front, fore-chest and forequarters, balanced in angulations front and rear, well ribbed back and rounded hindquarters. Moved with great purpose and an easy action.

1st: 2451 ELLRICH, Mrs Debbie & ELLRICH, Mr Malcolm Malrich Rude Boy a well grown 9 -month-old attractively marked red/white male who is well developed in bone and body. He is impressive in side profile presenting a well-balanced and well-proportioned appearance with pleasing leg length. Handsome, breed typical head, having a gentle expression enhanced by correctly shaped and set eyes and ears. Notable bone and body cover with a firm top line and strong, firm hindquarters. Moved freely and purposefully with confident head and tail carriage. Best Puppy in Breed.

2nd: 2478 RODGERS, Ms Marita Switherlands Mack The Knife (TAF) an 8-month-old well grown Tri male who has an attractive head although not the distinct features of 1st but breed typical in width and proportions. Well boned and bodied, well-made front, stands on good feet. Pleasing ribbing and substance of body having a firm top line and satisfying overall length, balance and proportions. Free and active in movement but not as steady and controlled as 1st.

1st: 2482 STRUDWICK, Mr & Mrs Leslie & Julia Armardio Ride Like The Wind Among Kumamatata a 13-month-old substantial red/white male who stands over the ground presenting a very satisfying side profile. Attractive head which is masculine and breed typical in length, width, planes and proportions. Pleasing ears set, texture, curl and length. Head set on a strong neck into powerful forequarters with desirable fore-chest. Sturdy body with good length of ribbing having spring and firm topline. Prefer less curtain to improve underline but has enough leg length to do a job. Better mover of this class.

2nd: 2458 HAMPTON, Mrs Jessica Louise X-Tor Wanderer Breenbrass a full bodied 16-month-old who is of good overall length. Pleasing head shape in side profile and front on. Well-made forequarters although has less obvious fore-chest than 1st. Front needs to be watched as he tended, on occasions, to look likely to knuckle over slightly in front. Pleasing length and width of body with good ribbing and top-line. Free moving and steadier than 3rd.

Well-made in front and fore-chest. Firm in top-line and well-angled hindquarters. Free and easy movement but preferred rear action of 1st.

1st: 2450 ELLRICH, Mrs Debbie & ELLRICH, MR MALCOLM & ELLRIC Malrich Hendricks JW a nearly 3-year-old who impressed on the move especially in side gait. Well defined clean lines in outline. Handsome, breed typical head set on a strong neck of proportional length. Very satisfying construction of front, body and hindquarters. Everything is well-made and nothing in exaggeration. Looks good from all angles. My Reserve Dog CC winner.

2nd: 2486 WOOD, Mrs Carole & WOOD, Mr Alf Marada The Cheviot a very smart, breed typical, mature looking 4½-year-old who has a head and expression I liked. He is satisfying in construction of front, body and hindquarters. I just preferred the length of neck of 1st. Moved well with a free steady action.

He is stylish, shapely, firm of substance and is of impressive conformation all through. One of good size having a powerful, workmanlike appearance with pleasing clean lines. Striking in overall shape being of ideal proportions and balance. Handsome, clean head shape which in balance and in proportion to his overall body length. Desirable make in front and fore-chest, ideal length of body which has spring and is ribbed well back with a firm top-line. Presented in excellent condition displaying well defined muscle; pleasing angulations front and rear. Steady sound movement with especially powerful driving rear action; he has confident head and correct tail carriage. My Dog CC winner and Best of Breed.

2nd: 2477 RODGERS, Ms Marita Switherland Sorrel a shapely, smart 2-year-old orange and white young male who is striking in side profile and overall appearance. Handsome head which is well proportioned and has an amiable expression. True front with well-made forequarters and fore-chest. Sturdy body having desirable ribbing, spring and depth all through with good substance; balanced in front and rear angulations. He has a firm, level top line and broad, strong, powerful hindquarters. Moved with a sound, free action. He has a very promising future.

She is an eye-catching youngster who impresses in body and bone development. Lovely head and expression. She has obvious breed quality and is a very promising prospect. Balanced in front and rear angulations presenting a well-balanced and well-proportioned picture. Sound, firm body and top-line. Free moving with the good-width, driving rear action.

2nd: 2461 HAMPTON, Mrs Jessica Louise & RUMSEY, Mrs Michele Bromwylva Cookie Dough a 10-month-old well grown blanket orange young bitch who is not as well developed in substance of body as 1st. However, she is nonetheless well constructed and of equal breed quality. Attractive in head, feminine and breed typical in width, length, planes and proportions. Well boned and bodied, true front, good feet with slight turn out. Pleasing spring of rib and ribbed well back. Ideal substance of body, firm top line and having pleasing overall length and proportions. Free and easy movement but not as true or precise as 1st.

1st: 2452 Mrs D Ellrich’s  Tail-Wagging Tina V. Grunsven a very shapely 17-month-old ‘Houndy’ bitch who has an attractive head and a friendly expression. She has pleasing conformation in front, body and hindquarters and is of good overall body length which I preferred to 2nd.Good to go over; presents a strong, ‘fit-for-purpose’ appearance. Free moving with extension in front and drive behind.

2nd: 2444 COULTAS, Mr & Mrs N & C & SMITS, Mr R Tender Tiffany V. Grunsven (IMP NLD ) NAF same age and similar markings to 1st. Feminine in head of pleasing shape, although a little planer in look than 1st , set on good length neck but would prefer less obvious dewlap. Overall, she is well made in front, body and hindquarters. Moved out but would needs more extension.

1st: 2454 FREER, Mr Phillip Switherland Whoopie Pie a striking 3½-year-old orange & white who has a quality look. She is obviously feminine and breed typical in appearance with an ideal length head of medium width and strong jaws. Pleasing correctly shaped dark eyes, desirable ears set and curl. Stable, true front having tight elbows and adequate fore-chest which I preferred to 2nd. Pleasing ribbing, sturdy body with firm top line and pleasing overall length and proportions of body. Free, steady, precise movement; the better mover of this class.                                                        

2nd: 2475 MELBOURNE, Miss Diana & MURRAY, J Diheath Rtwo Jutwo a substantial 2-year-old attractively marked white and orange bitch of satisfying overall shape, balance and proportions; she has notable leg length and certainly looks like she could do a job. She is of pleasing make and shape of body with firm substance of body cover. Feminine but breed typical in head although she would be the better with less dewlap. She has good spring and depth, being well boned in front and rear. A free and easy mover but not as settled as 1st.

Head is of proportional length and width and is satisfying in look viewed from the front and side. She is well enough made in front, body and hindquarters. She moved with a purposeful action and steadier in action than 2nd.

2nd: 2449 CUDLIP, Ms E Whinneybrow Her Majesty at Harvidene an attractive 15-month-old orange & white youngster who has the conformation to be appreciated. Feminine, breed typical in head which has character and pleasing breed features. Stands well over the ground presenting her well-made true front, sturdy body and nicely angulated hindquarters. Excellent standing but let herself down on the move.

She has a very attractive head which is feminine, breed typical clean featured and ‘Houndy’. Stands true in front with pleasing forequarters having fore chest, tight elbows, ideal width all-through and true, large, well knuckled feet. Free, easy, sound steady action with good width and parallel hocks. My Bitch CC winner.

2nd: 2485 WHITING, Miss S J & DAYKIN, Mr M & Mrs A Braithwell Aurelia at Annilann a sturdy, mature 4-year-old attractively marked orange & white who overall has a very smart, well-defined profile, especially in top line. Pleasing feminine head which is in balance, proportion with correct head planes and adequate depth of muzzle. Good length and shape of neck, well-made in front and forequarters, balanced in angulations front and rear, well ribbed back and full rounded hindquarters. Moved with purpose and an easy, steady action.
