Attractive head and attentive expression. True front with good width and pleasing fore-chest. Firm and correct in top-line with moderate angled hindquarters; stands over the ground well Moved with a free easy action especially good front action. My Reserve Dog CC and Best Veteran in Breed

2ND    11490 - Ch Vilauddens Magnificent Mile (Imp Nld) (Mr P & Mrs D Reid) a workmanlike, rising 7-year-old well made, shapely male who has a pleasing outline with good proportions and balance front/rear. Well-proportioned head set on strong neck. True front with good fore-chest, spring and is ribbed well back but is not as tight in elbows as1st. Firm in top-line with a broad loin, he has moderately angled hindquarters and stands over the ground well. Moved with a free action but tended to be loose and close in front.

3RD    11456 - Culdaws Legend of Gold (Mrs K J Culyer-Dawson) a sturdy bodied, rugged looking 6½ year old who is well enough made all through. Masculine breed typical head and expression. He has pleasing overall, well covered body with decent length to height proportions. OK coat texture. Moved well enough but lacked enthusiasm.

1ST    11446 - Soletrader Fabioquartaro (Ms J C Brown) a smart well grown and firmly covered 11-month-old who is of pleasing make and shape. He has a well-balanced profile and is soundly put together in overall construction. Attractive head shape and proportions with a keen expression; head set onto a firm neck of good length. He is well developed with good bone and is true in front with enough fore-chest and pleasing spring of rib, strong, level top line; very promising puppy. Ideally angled hindquarters of good width. Pleasing coat texture. Moved well and free with especially good front action. Better mover of the class.

2ND    11458 - Vencharno Stuck on You (Mrs C & Miss C Dalgarno) an 8 month old well developed shapely young male who has a pleasing profile but who is not as together in appearance as 1st or has the maturity of coat texture. Pleasing well-proportioned head set on well to a firm neck of good length. Well boned front but needs to tighten. Slightly up on his legs and needs to settle into his hindquarters. Free moving but not as settled in action as 1st.

1ST    11471 - Cynetkoy's Tinker Tailor (Ms L & Mr P Guernari & Dane) a typy 14-month-old who has an ‘all-male’ breed typical appearance. Pleasing head and expression with a nicely shaped dark eye. He has a well-made body with ideal spring, obvious fore-chest and enough depth of chest. Firm, level top line. At the moment, truer and more definite in front than 2nd. Moved with a free action and true purpose, especially in front; better mover of the class.

 2ND    11472 - Nykarth's under Wraps (Mrs Kim Holt) a typy rising 14-month-old who has a pleasing general appearance. Typy, masculine head and expression with a nicely shaped dark eye. He is well bodied and broad in loin and has good make and shape of body being well ribbed back with enough depth of chest, a firm top line and stable hindquarters. Good harsh coat texture. Free moving although not as precise in front as 1st.

 3RD    11460 - Valefell Savannah Journey (Mrs D Fairhurst) another 14-month-old young male who is not as firm or mature in development as 1st and 2nd. Lots to like about him. Will only improve when he firms up and strengthens in top-line and is more controlled in movement.

Pleasing head, ears and expression with a nicely shaped dark eye. True front with tight enough elbows and a well-made compact body with good spring and depth of chest. Firm, level top line with well developed hindquarters. Better mover of this class.

 2ND    11465 - Elsfie Monsieur Oakley (Mrs A J Fordham) a well bodied 3½ year old who has a general appearance typical of the breed. Attractive head and alert expression with a correctly shaped dark eye. He is carrying enough substance and needs to tighten in front. Pleasing overall shape and proportions of body having decent spring and depth of chest and a firm top line. I would prefer more definite angles behind. Tended to be loose in front on the move.

 3RD    11469 - Ballencrieff Figgy Pudding (Mrs S & Mrs C Allen & Gilluley) a 2-year-old who is of shapely make and outline and possesses good breed type. He is well boned and well enough covered in body substance. Would prefer more stifle angle to complete the picture. Needs to tighten in front and was a bit loose in elbows and close on the move.

1ST    11445 - Callydena Dougal Mclennan (Ms J C Brown) 3½ year old male who has pleasing overall appearance. Robust in appearance and impressive in bone with firm body and typical coat texture. Masculine, typy head of good length and ideal width with pleasing shape and expression. He has good proportions and balance of body and I preferred his firm stance to others in this class. He has a true, parallel front, with good tight elbows and strong pasterns. His body is of good length with spring and depth with well angled hindquarters.  He moved with a free striding action and was the better mover of this class.

 2ND    11474 - Tangaer French Romance (Mrs J Hutchings) a pleasing quality 3-year-old male who is attractive in appearance and as plenty of potential and promise for onward development and maturity. Handsome head and alert expression; pleasing in overall proportions in body length/height with enough leg length. Moved with a free easy action although could have more reach in front.

3RD    11497 - Afterglow Curtain Call avec Roxastan (Mrs R Townsend) a well grown 3-year-old who is nicely constructed and possesses good breed type. He is well boned and OK in body substance. Tended to look upright and needing to tighten in front. Moved well enough behind but needs to be more precise in front.

A mature 2-year-old male of eye-catching shape and style and having a real workmanlike, houndy appearance. He has sound conformation all through endorsed with breed qualities. Handsome, breed typical head set on strong good length neck, balanced well proportioned, compact body furnished with ideal length and textured coat. Presents a pleasing example of this strong and active hound breed. One who caught my eye with his purposeful, sound active movement displaying all the confidence and enthusiasm typical of this breed. My Dog CC and Best of Breed winner. Looked good in the Group ring.

 2ND    11442 - Bientôt V Tum-Tum’s Vriendjes (Mrs A N Huikeshoven) another quality male who has the eye-catching look of quality both in type and conformation. At 21 months of age, he is of pleasing size and is well balanced in profile with an attractive masculine typy head of good shape and proportion. Strong neck set on to a well-made body. Good length, rough coat of harsh texture. Sound in front and moderate angulated hindquarters. Not moving with control and freedom compared with 1st.

3RD    11435 - Int Ch Switherland Aldia Crusader (Mr V Agaev) a mature nearly 4 year old of similar shape and qualities as 2nd.  Standing really looks a handsome hound. Tended to stand and move wider in front and more flat in feet than I prefer.

Shapely in appearance with good size, proportions and balance in angulations front/rear. She lacked coat and appears to be at a close coated stage but this helps to show off her outline and overall construction. Firm in top-line and well made in body. Free and enthusiastic mover. Better mover of this class.

 2ND    11492 - Pl/vdh/cz/cie Ch Lena Podkołdernik Jadowity (Mrs I Schulmann) another nearly 8-year-old of pleasing overall shape and conformation. Lovely breed typical, feminine head and pleasing expression. Would prefer her to be tighter in front both standing and on the move.

Soundly made all through, she is breed typical and workmanlike in appearance. She is well balanced and of excellent overall proportions and shape. Sound true front and well-made forequarters. Attractive head with an alert lively expression. Excellent in bone and body, she is well enough covered with a firm level top line and nicely angulated hindquarters. Moved with great enthusiasm and a pleasing precise action. Best Puppy in Breed.

She is well made all through and is workmanlike and ‘Houndy’ in look being all in proportion and balance. Well-shaped head and having an alert confident expression. True front and well-made forequarters. Pleasing body both in bone and substance, having a firm level top line and nicely angulated hindquarters. Eye catching both in conformation and coat. Moved with confidence and purpose and moving the best of this class.

2ND    11441 - Jamar Miss Skylar (Mrs J Bishop) a shapely 13-month-old well-made typy bitch who has a pleasing front and good forequarters which I just preferred to 3rd. She has the overall make and shape I liked and is breed typical with a rough coated appearance. She is pleasing in balance and ok in proportions. Tended to be stretched out when standing detracting from her rear angulation. Free and active on the move although tended to be close in front.

3RD    11484 - Nykarth Touch of Class (Miss K S Moulding) a well grown 14-month-old who is of pleasing size, bone and body with a harsh rough coat. Pleasing head set on good length strong neck. True front, good spring and length of ribbing and moderate hindquarters. Free moving although was unsettled and close in rear action.

Well defined outline. Lovely head which is of pleasing shape and proportion; correctly shaped dark eye and an alert, assured expression. True front, good length of neck, sound body with level top line and nicely angled hindquarters. Ideal width all through. Free movement especially in side gait; best mover of the class.

2ND    11470 - Ballencrieff Jingle Belle (Mrs C & Mrs S Gilluley & Allen) a shapely 2¼ year old who needs to stand out over the ground to show her best profile. She has an attractive head and an attentive expression. Would prefer her to be tighter in front and elbows. Pleasing harsh coat of decent length. Moved freely around the ring although a bit close in hocks.

3RD    11483 - Nykarth Quite The Surprise (Miss K S Moulding) a 3½ year old well-proportioned bitch who has pleasing overall length of body. She is pleasing and feminine in head which is set on a strong neck which I would prefer to have more length. Balanced in angulations front and rear; Movement was positive in front but would like more extension.

She is well-made in front, neck, top line and body construction. She stands ‘four-square’ looking stable and totally in balance. Moved with a free and lively gait and was the better mover of the class.

True front, good spring and length of ribbing tended to look longer in body than 1st. OK angulations front and rear. Moved well in side gait but was a little close in hock in rear action.

She is feminine in head and is well developed in body which is well covered and firm. Free movement in front and rear but would prefer more extension.

She caught my eye with her purposeful, sound active movement, combined with an air of enthusiastic enjoyment. My Bitch CC winner.

Soundly made and is workmanlike in appearance. She is well balanced and pleasing in overall proportions, balance and shape. True front, fore-chest and well-made forequarters. Attractive head with an alert lively expression. Well-made body with firm substance and having a firm level top line with stable, angulated hindquarters. Moved with a free and easy action although a little closer in hock than 1st. My Reserve Bitch CC winner.

Carrying more substance than I like but she was firm and level enough in top line. The better mover of the class.

Very pleasing in head, good length neck, front could be tighter. Pleasing spring and ribbing; broad over loin and angled hindquarters. Would like more enthusiasm on the move.
