1st Place    3141 - Soloyal Valentino ShCM (Miss J Such) an upstanding well-presented 7-year-old mature male who is striking in side profile outline. Clean, handsome head which is pleasing in shape and proportions. Could be neater in ears. True parallel front with pleasing fore-chest and width across the chest. Powerfully made in body, good firm substance, broad loin and firm, level top-line. Balanced and good proportions of body when viewed in side profile. Powerful, free, true action front and rear, Moved the best in this class. Best Veteran in Breed.

2nd Place    3117 - Louis Blanchette at Amenbury (Mrs F & Miss B Lee) a substantial 9-year-old who is in commendable coat and condition. Pleasing front and forequarters which I preferred to 3rd. Masculine, good sized head, all in proportion, attentive and eager expression. Strong looking body with pleasing spring of rib and firm level top-line. Free moving but would prefer more width behind.

1st Place    3111 - Chalksville Strike A Deal with Kashaella (Mrs S.v & Miss K.v & Miss H.v Jarram & Jarram & Whittingham) an 8-month-old black/white who has a well-defined outline. Presented in impressive coat and condition. He is balanced in appearance and totally in proportion height to length. He has the desired appearance of quality being well boned and having the desired body development. His appearance is enhanced by his very attractive head and expression. True, well-boned front of ideal width and which I preferred to 2nd. Pleasing width across the chest. Satisfying in top line and outline line. Firm, good width, moderate hindquarters. He stands well out over the ground looking totally in balance. Moved best, with true front extension and parallel rear drive. Best Puppy in Breed.

2nd Place    3140 - Soloyal Kiss of Deaf NAF (Miss J Such) a 8-month-old very attractive red merle presented in excellent coat and condition. Typical shaped, masculine head with an alert expression. True well boned front, which tended to stand wide, and pleasing substance of body. He has loads of promise having all the basic structure and shape to mature into a quality adult. Needs to strengthen behind. Free moving in side gait but tended to be loose in front action.

Masculine in head of pleasing shape and proportions. Broad chest and true in front, well boned and well bodied of pleasing proportions and balance in conformation, moderate angulations front and rear. Free moving in side gait; the better mover of this class.

2nd Place    3105 - Gemthorne Its A Hotspell (Mrs J M Harvey) a 19-month-old rich red male in excellent coat and condition. Heavier in forequarters and overall look than 1st and not as balanced in proportions. Typy, masculine head in proportion to the rest of him. True in front, substantial body and loin. Moderate hindquarters. Free moving but not as positive as 1st.

1st Place    3109 - Pastore Amato Endearing Reo (Imp Rus) (Miss L Hobin) A 2-year-old blue merle of medium size. Handsome, clean head of acceptable shape and proportions and having nicely shaped eyes and pleasing ear set. Keen and alert expression. Head set well onto strong neck. Pleasing angulation to front and rear. In side profile he is well balanced with firm, level top line. Good bone, feet and pasterns. Moved with purpose  having true, forward, precise action.

2nd Place    3144 - Caronlea Celtic Fire Starter for Takhisis JW (ai) (IKC) (Mrs S L Wray-Ramsden) a 2-year-old strong, rich red who in overall quality is close up to 1st. Imposing in appearance, impressive in coat, condition and presentation. Attractive in head, true in front, strong in neck and firm substance of body with strong angulation of hindquarters. Free moving, pleasing front action but tended to crab slightly in body and was close behind.

1st Place    3107 - Franmar The Thriller (Mrs A L Hellewell) an upstanding 4½-year-old well-built 4 year old blue merle of obvious quality both in conformation and breed characteristics. Very well balanced in outline and pleasing proportions of body. Well-developed in bone and sturdy in body.  Masculine shapely head, pleasing forequarters and strong, clean neck, sturdy with ideal width all-through. Easy, free and steady movement. My Reserve Dog CC winner.

2nd Place    3095 - Sparkaway Supernatural (Miss T Cowley) an attractively marked 5-year-old blue merle who shares many of the merits of 1st. When standing with head strung up tended to appear upright. However, he has a very smart well-shaped head, a moderate length but strong neck, robust body and moderately angled strong hindquarters; all in proportion. Free and steady movement but tended to be loose hocked.

1st Place    3133 - Ch Brighttouch Drift The Line Through Dialynne (Imp Rus) (Mrs M, Mr J & Mrs K Raymond, Shaw & Kirtley) an impressive 2¾-year-old blue merle male who stood out in the ring. Super breed typical male and one that, for me, illustrates the breed standard. Presented in commendable coat and condition. Handsome, breed typical head and expression; soundly constructed in front, body and hindquarters. Excellent proportions in length/height and ideal width all through. Firm in body and in top line; stands “four square” over the ground and presents an impressive breed typical picture. Moved with the steady, free and easy gait that compliments his construction. My Dog CC Winner and later Pastoral Group 2.

2nd Place    3127 - Allmark One for The Road with Alfsden (Ms J & Mr N Milligan & Marley) a black/white 3-year-old male who was presented in striking coat and condition. Pleasing in overall shape in side profile although does not match 1st for overall proportions and balance in profile. Pleasing head features and shape which is in proportion to the rest of him, all together giving a confident expression. Pleasing in bone, true front of proportional width which I preferred to 3rd. Good substance of body with spring and ribbed well back. Matching in angulation front/rear. Needs to strengthen in hindquarters. Free moving in side gait but needing to be more settled in front action and stronger, with more width, in rear action.

Feminine in look. Pleasing head and head proportions. Pleasing reach of neck, firm body cover and level top line. Balanced in angulation front and rear complemented by pleasing width all through. Moved confidently and the better mover of this class,

2nd Place    3094 - Chalksville Bucks Fizz (Mr N R, Mrs M & Mr E Chalk & Vorrias) another 8-month-old blue merle similar in outline to 1st. Attractive head which is breed typical and feminine. True, parallel front, sturdy well-made body with moderately angled hindquarters. Needs to mature and strengthen in hindquarters. Purposeful movement but close hocked behind.

1st Place    3131 - Dialynne Heist Society (ai) (Mrs M Raymond) a super quality 10-month-old black/white who is impressive in condition, presentation and appearance. She has all the basics in structure, conformation and breed characteristics that you desire in a puppy of this breed. She has an attractive head which is enhanced by her expression. Lovely head shape and head proportions. She is well boned and has the desired body substance to grow on and develop to best advantage. She impresses in conformation in front, body and hindquarters, all going together to form an exciting prospect. Moved with confidence having sound action in front and rear. She tired and not as free and easy on the move when challenging for Best Puppy in Breed, gave way to an exciting male puppy.

1st Place    3104 - Milwyr Jubilee Concert (Miss F & Mrs G Harris) a very promising 10-month-old black/tri bitch puppy who has all the basics in structure and promise to develop into a quality adult. Lovely head and expression. Pleasing bone, well-made, true front and well-grown body and stable moderately angled hindquarters which I preferred to 2nd. At a stage of development where she tended to appear long caste but with maturity of depth in underline, her overall appearance will come together and be improved. Better mover of the class.

2nd Place    3118 - Villanyda Witches Moon (Imp Esp) (Mrs F & Miss B Lee) a shapely 10-months-old strong red merle who has a very pleasing head. True well-made front, sturdy body. Would prefer more distinct angulation and strength in hindquarters which I am sure would improve her rear movement. Very promising youngster.

1st Place    3106 - Gemthorne Swirling Snow (Mrs J M Harvey) a very attractive 19-month-old blue-merle who is attractive in side profile having good proportions and outline. Feminine, typy head with good ear set. Pleasing reach of neck set into good shoulders and firm, level top line. Satisfactory spring of ribs and having a well-made body with moderate tuck-up. Shown in good coat, condition and well presented. Better mover of this class.

2nd Place    3134 - Franmar Blue Mystique (Mrs L Scanlan) a very attractively marked 20-month-old blue merle bitch who has quality in breed features and conformation. Similar in size and shape to 1st sharing many of her merits. At times tended to appear slack in body which lost her 1st placing. Attractive head and expression. Well boned true front, balanced in angulations front/rear, pleasing length and proportions of body although plenty of body over her broad loin. Moved with a true action but inclined to be lethargic.

1st Place    3093 - Dialynne Leave Your Mark at Starlink (Miss L Bassett) a shapely deep rich red 2-year-old who has an elegant outline and is in notable coat and condition. She has an attractive appearance with pleasing proportions in length to height. Lovely head shape and head proportions. Well-constructed in front/forequarters with a true, well-boned front which is of ideal width across the chest. Soundly made and firm in body. Stands well over the ground presenting an assured, well-made appearance. Free and easy on the move when settled.

2nd Place    3108 - Razkiah Fizzing Whizzbee (Miss G S Herraty) a 2-year-old of similar colour, shape and quality to 1st. Attractive head and overall side profile. She has a very smart side profile when settled, being well-made in front, body and hindquarters and having excellent body proportions. Tended to be a little anxious which affected her angles and movement.

1st Place    3103 - Allmark Dance with Diamonds (Mr P & Mrs Y Simmons) a 2½-yesr-old blue merle of striking appearance. She is attractive in appearance with a smart, workmanlike look. Very satisfying in side profile, showing she is of good length and is balanced in angulations front and rear. Attractive head and expression, good length, strong neck, true front, firm substance of body and nicely let down hindquarters. Moved freely and was the better mover of this class.

2nd Place    3096 - Sparkaway Talk of The Town (Miss T Cowley) a rising 5-year-old blue merle bitch of similar style to 1st but slightly smaller in stature. She is of pleasing conformation all through. Attractive feminine but breed typical head and expression. True front, pleasing forequarters and width across the chest. Strong sturdy body and firm level top-line. Free and easy on the move but inclined to toe-in slightly in front.

Unmistakable quality appearance having a well-groomed quality look. Feminine, shapely, well-balanced head set on a strong, reachy neck. Shoulders well laid back, desirable depth of chest and having moderate tuck-up. Correct bone and ideal body; true front and slightly sloping pasterns. Good width, parallel hocks. Moved soundly with a steady, true, precise easy action. My Bitch CC winner.

2nd Place    3142 - Ch Birkcross Mines A Tia Maria TAF (Mr J Walsh) a nearly 4-year-old black/tri of similar style and qualities as 1st. Pleasing moderate length coat in commendable condition. Workmanlike in appearance. She has substance of body and pleasing matching angulation front and rear. Attractive head and expression, strong well-set neck flowing into her firm body. An eager true, forward mover but just needing to settle to give of her best. My Reserve Bitch CC winner.
