1st) Miwell Alex Mcqueen (Ms I Brundtland), black dog coming up to two years old. Good head and eye but ears could be better as they tended to fly rather more than they should have, good lay of shoulder & upperarm and generally in good condition throughout. Tended to flatten out and pace on the move.

1st) Blue Lagoon of Bytheiad (Miss J S Thompson), 5 year old blue, good head, eye and expression. Well shaped ears & balanced skull proportions. Good forehand, enough chest & neat topline and underline. Held his shape on the move and went with an easy action, where he was both sound and free moving. BD.

2nd) Lamoye's Ophis Legacy (Dr J M Mellis)

Red dog of just over four years, quite a lot to like about this one and similar in many respects to the winner. Good to go over, correct head and eye, well made throughout & shapely when stood. Just tended to flatten out s bit on the move which told against him, well deserved RBD however.

3rd) Chrisford Dare Devil Dennis Aw(s) (Mrs M Hayden-Smith)

Junior Bitch

1st) Aceofaces Beach Glow (Ms K L Manley) winner of this class where 2nd was WHD. She is a typical fawn and presents a reasonably balanced outline. Good head and eye, shoulders could be a touch better laid but she is fairly well ribbed & in good muscular condition. Rather difficult to assess on the move & does need more training, but what I saw was reasonably true up and back.

1st) Ch Artmeis Summer Breeze at Birchwind (Mrs M Hayden-Smith), this fawn and white 2.5yr old bitch stood out in this entry. Good skull proportions, nice eyes & correct expression. Good forehand, firm topline and neat underline. Really sound and accurate on the move and acquitted herself well. Well deserved BB & BOB.

2nd) Miwell Mary Quant by Lamoye JW (Dr J M Mellis), red bitch coming up to two years old who I also admired. Correct head and eye, not quite the expression of the winner but not unattractive. Lots to admire when going over her & constructionally she is very well made. In good muscle tone, sound and accurate on the move, just tending to flatten out a touch more than the winner. RBB & it was well deserved.

3rd) Aceofaces Beach Glow (Ms K L Manley)
