Puppy Dog

1st) Justacharma Just Magical (Mr S C & Mrs G A J Smith) shapely and sound Blenheim dog coming up to a year old, impressed for his substance & cobbiness, good facial features but his ears could be a touch lower; enough dome & turn-up, thickset & firm throughout, accurate on the move, beautiful clarity of markings & shown in first class condition.

Junior Dog

1st) Justacharma So Magic JW (Mr S C & Mrs G A J Smith) 17-month-old tri dog, good head and gentle expression, his eyes are dark, above them his tan is rich & striking; enough dome and turn-up, could have a touch more neck but his topline is perfectly level at all times; good ribbing and short in body; lightly marked coat presented in first class order, sound on the move and uses himself well, enjoying himself whilst he goes which sometimes causes his tail to rise a mite too high for perfection. BD & BOB.

2nd) Tom Des Trois Maillets Baldragon (Imp Fra) NAF (C Bowles-Robinson) I wondered if this junior Blenheim dog would have been my winner when he came in, very much what I like in the breed, liked his head as his facial features are correct and he does have a super rise & turn-up; not the confidence on the move as the winner yet and his coat is still to come in, but undoubtedly one to do some useful winning when he is ready.

1st) Ch Justacharma Magic Goes On (Mr S C & Mrs G A J Smith) have often admired this four-year-old tri dog & he is not disappointing to go over, his head is very much what you would want and expect, and his expression is gentle. Enough neck & chest, firm topline just falling away a touch too much toward his croup; well carried tail and he was in good condition throughout. Well-marked, though not the beautiful clarity of his kennelmate. RBD & a worthy Ch.

1st) Dragonheart Winter Morning (Mr M L & Mrs K L Austin) 8-year-old Blenheim dog boasting a good head for the breed, with lovely dark eyes. A touch short in neck & needs more body weight to finish him off. Could be more accurate up & back; but enjoys his showing and was well handled. BVIB.

Puppy Bitch

1st) Headra Edith (Mrs M E Kendall) little to separate Edith from Ethel and it turns out they are sisters, 7.5-month-old tri bitches, both have super heads, Edith probably one of the best on the day; now needs to mature on and gain some substance to do some useful winning. Very sound on the move & used herself well, like a seasoned pro compared to some! RBB, BPB & BPIB.

2nd) Headra Ethel (Mr J D R Baker) see 1st above, little to separate her from the winner, just not quite so collected on the move today, like her sister needs more substance, but a very nice bitch. Liked her head and eye, very well handled and presented in first class order, her coat was gleaming.

1st) Tess Des Trois Maillets Baldragon (Imp Fra) NAF (C Bowles-Robinson) litter sister to 2nd in Junior Dog & she shares many of his attributes. She is a lovely bitch with a good head, eye could be a shade darker, good to go over and is in good condition; well ribbed & short in back, needs more coat and finish now. Well-marked coat of beautifully rich chestnut colour. Sound on the move and well handled.

Post Graduate Bitch

1st) Baldragon Worth Russian for (C Bowles-Robinson), 2-year-old tri bitch, liked her head and eye but perhaps her nose could be a little further back, well boned & thick set, just a shade longer in back than ideal; coming back into coat now and what she had looked good. Sound on the move, up and back was the best in this entry & in profile she used herself well. Handled well and presented in good condition. BB & BOS. 

2nd) Gracie Maradeco King (Miss J L Mcfarlane), B/T bitch who I liked, good head and eye, enough neck and firm topline, touch longer in back than ideal, well-muscled quarters & used herself well on the move. In typical Charlie fashion, she has a mind of her own and wants to do just as she pleases! Will have better days I am sure, she is a nice bitch.

Limit Bitch

1st) Baldragon Gots Hattitude TAF (Mr M L & Mrs K L Austin) 2.5 year old tri bitch with a lot going for her, large head which was the best for size in this entry, and her expression is kind and gentle, good turn-up and facial properties. Enough neck and level in topline, well ribbed back and she is good to go over. Unfortunately carrying too much weight today and this masked her shape. Could use herself a touch more on the move, as she is sound but does the bare minimum! A lovely girl.
