I have so much affection for this breed, when I first started attending shows in the 1990s, the Cavalier dominated the ring both with massive entries in breed classed but also leading the placings in the toy group. It is a shame that numbers are dwindling, there is some quality still to be found and I was very happy with my main winners, quite typical example of the breed and some very promising youngsters coming through that I am sure will make their presence known over the next couple of years. In both sexes, I shortlisted 4 for consideration for the CC, each I would have happily awarded a CC. All dogs were presented in good condition and health and temperaments were very good.
