Veteran Dog

1st Ward’s Sh Ch Cornadore Argyle With Copperwhite (imp Pol) This boy is of excellent type.

Well balanced head with the domed skull required, round expressive eye and a strong muzzle make up a most pleasing head.

A well-balanced outline with strong, slightly arched neck, firm backline, Deep chest, ribbed well back, short firm loin and muscular hindquarters, tail set on well. Moved with purpose and correct footfall, showing a smooth flowing style using his tail well. In tiptop muscle and coat condition. DCC

Yearling Dog

1st Jakins’s Coolfin Murchard, A raw 23 month old boy, that just needs time to settle into his frame. Pleasing head with an expressive eye. Correct forehand construction. Well ribbed back leading through to correctly set tail and strong hindquarters. Good bone and feet. Moved ‘energetically’ but did show good profile movement.

Post Graduate Dog

1st Catton, Cook & Jakins’s Coolfin Clancy With Ferngate. My notes say ‘What a Clown’ he certainly made me smile! Excellent head and expression. Correct forehand construction. Well ribbed back leading through to correctly set tail and strong hindquarters. Strong oval bone. When he finally settled he displayed a good open side gait.

Limit Dog

1st Taylor’s Loirebay Monte Carlo, I liked the overall balance to this boy. Well proportion head with a lovely expression, set on to a slightly arched neck. Good front and rear angulation, ribs well sprung. Coat texture is very good. Movement needs some improvement .

2nd Barney’s Romaunt Lust For Life, Beautifully headed boy that has balance throughout, a boy without any exaggerations. But he has attitude and character in abundance that masks his attributes. Moved with animation, has a good footfall and covers the ground well.

Open Dog

1st Ward’s Sh Ch Cornadore Argyle With Copperwhite (imp Pol) - Repeat

2nd Green’s Sh Ch Zendarric Heart Shaped Box With Viszset, Love the breed type to this boy. Typical in head with an alert expression. Strong arched neck running into well laid shoulders and good ribcage carried well back. Strong hindquarters, very sound on the move keeping his topline at all times. In good coat which was well presented. RDCC

3rd Gardner’s Sh Ch Alanea Game Reserve with Danwish. Well made all through. Correct forehand construction. Well ribbed back leading through to correctly set tail and strong hindquarters. Good bone and feet. Moved steadily both fore and aft and displayed good profile movement. I would just prefer him to stand over more ground

Field Trial Dog or Bitch

1st Sayer’s Settersay Snowstorm, B. Alert and kind expression, I would prefer more strength and depth to muzzle. Good depth of chest and well-made hindquarters with low hocks. In fabulous muscle condition. Moved steadily.

2nd Brooke’s ESP Ch Drumlace Shadow In Earnest At Grousenden SGWC W/W’20 RSCE/W’20 B. Such a happy girl with a non-stop wagging tail. Very feminine, I would prefer bit more robustness. Had the best feet of the day. Moved steadily.

Special Working Gundog Dog or Bitch

1st Sayer’s Settersay Thunder D, Pleasing head with enough breadth to slightly rounded skull and a good eye shape. Strong neck leading to correct topline. Strong well- muscled hindquarters with low hocks. Moved out well on a good stride.

Yearling Bitch

1st Barney’s Romaunt Ain’t Misbehaven, Oozing character. Good overall balance with excellent head and expression. Good depth of chest and well- made hindquarters with low hocks. In excellent coat and condition. Gave her handler a hard time on the move but her footfall is excellent just needs time and a handler with loads of patience. I really liked this girl she just needs to mature.

2nd Taylor’s Laoirebay Drifting Breeze, Beautifully headed girl that has balance throughout. Clean outline with a firm topline. Well-made hindquarters. Stands square all round. Has attitude and character in abundance. Moved with so much animation that it makes her movement erratic. .

Open Bitch

1st Gardner’s Sh Ch Charnborough Charisma of Danwish JW. I just loved this bitch’s femininity, haughtiness, quality and breed type. She has a beautiful clean cut head with the required domed skull, and a soft expressive eye. Excellent strength to neck leading to correct lay of shoulder, firm topline which was held perfectly on the move. Correct length in back and the firmest of loins. Strong well- muscled quarters, with a well-defined second thigh and close knit feet with short nails. She has excellent reach fore and aft and flows effortlessly around the ring with a lashing tail. Put down in excellent condition. Delighted to award her BCC and BOB.

2nd Settersay Scorcher Via Tymaran. Beautifully headed girl with the softest of eye. Feminine throughout she has a balanced body, enough depth to her chest, firm loin and strong quarters which were used to advantage on the move.
